Make the key slot look like it is for the keys. Should not have to look hard to find where to put the keys.

Everything was very convenient and easy to access. As I was picking up the vehicle on a Sunday when they were closed, the staff was extremely helpful and walked me through the mobile process days prior to my pickup.

No problems with the location. But I have a HUGE problem with UHaul. The UHaul website advertises heavily about being able to drop off your equipment at a different location, but DOES NOT INDICATE THAT THERE ARE ADDITIONAL FEES TO DO SO! I was VERY infuriated when I was told that it would cost an additional $60 to drop off the trailer at a UHaul close to my home. There were NO trailers available to rent in Lancaster, PA and I had to reserve one 40 minutes away. I figured it would be ok if I drove there and then could return it in Lancaster. The entire time I made the reservation, it never said anything about a charge to return at a different location. I am VERY upset and will NEVER use UHaul again!!!

We were told to return the trailer to Honey Brook, PA. When we arrived, the employee said to take it to Paradise, PA, over 1/2 hour away. Would we be penalized? I called the 800 U-Haul number and the gentleman said he would be sure we weren't charged. When we arrived in Paradise, PA, we were again diverted to another destination. Upon arrival at the third destination, after unhooking the trailer, we went to the door and it was locked. There was a sign on the door, "OUT TOWING." We called the phone number listed and the gentleman said he would be out probably 45 minutes. We could wait or we could drop the trailer and return on the mobile app. We said NO, as per the contract we would then be charged extra. The man argued that we were reading it wrong. We continued to say no, then he said "just drop it and go, he'd take care of the paperwork when he returned. I called the 800 U-Haul number again to register a complaint and to find out if we would then be charged for a late return.The woman I spoke to put me on hold, spoke to another employee, came back to the line and told me I wouldn't be charged and I should go ahead with the mobile app. I said NO, I felt she should be able to "return the trailer on her end." She said yes, she could. I said then please do. I continued to ask for assurance that we would not be charged any extra fees. She continued to say we would not be charged. I have never experienced this type of mass confusion with U-Haul and I am not sure I will be so quick to call you again in the future. I would have expected a partial refund or discount for all the craziness we endured. Trying to access your contact form to place an actual complaint is a futile effort. Your website is not exactly user-friendly.

The 26ft truck we were supposed to get someone did not return yet so we were given a 20ft truck. Because of this we had to make multiple trips. Which in turn tripled my miles and used more gas. And the gentlemen I hired to move us who were awesome cost us $450 because they had to stay 4 extra hours. I have no problem with the place I picked it up. I do have a problem with Uhaul not taking care of the situation.

These are not complaints, just comments. After waiting 30 minutes for the shop owner to assist me, he informed me I was a self dispatch. This was my first time accessing the self dispatch feature with Uhaul and I had to download the app on site, which took forever. It is a really neat app and system, but I had a problem with the lockbox at the shop (not well maintained, took several attempts to get the key out.) If I had needed help with the key, it would have been nice for Uhaul to be able to unlock the box remotely. The shop owner had left the site, so I was on my own. Another issue was that all of the damage I saw on the truck was not noted with the damage stickers. I took photos of everything I could just to be safe. The brakes on the truck were squealing horribly, so I would recommend that something like that be checked out. The shop owner was out towing when I checked back in, which was easy enough with the app, but again, I didn't have the opportunity to point out the previous damage. The shop owner had informed me that he had received no training on the self-dispatch, so it might be a good idea to be sure the humans are at least knowledgeable enough to assist your customers in case of potential problems. I enjoy self checkouts, so overall pretty happy with the experience (and only 10 minutes late getting where I needed to be with the truck due to the hang-ups;)
