Have trailer at original location. Had to drive 76 miles out of way to pick up after short notice trailer at original location was not going to be available.

Due to the remote location of this facility, using the 24/7 check in process didn’t work well at all. I had to stand in the middle of the parking lot, in 10 degrees for over 20 min to get the app to work, take photo ID pictures, etc. Process to over 40 min to complete, not good.

I was asked if I wanted to road side assistance insurance and it was $9.00 but wasn't told that was per day so for 8 days it ended up to be $72.00. I wouldn't have taken it.

Fuel gauge was not working in the truck I rented. Went back in to tell the attendant the truck was on “E”, but he “left for Lunch”. Went to fill the truck before leaving town, but it only took a couple gallons.

We returned the truck with a quarter tank like when we picked it up but because our agreement showed it was just over half we got charged another $60 for the difference.

I was charged for a day late return, but i turned it in on time there wasn’t an employee there to check it in even though i was there 40 minutes before they closed.

Making it easier to get a trailer that isn’t 120 miles away this was a 2 hour drive both ways to get a trailer. It was very inconvenient that there were no trailers in South Dakota (Sioux Falls) which is the biggest city in the state that could not leave the state, and that I had to drive all the way to Iowa to get a trailer. On a side note, the Uhaul rep in Iowa was awesome. Great customer service skills, very friendly, and helpful.

Explain better what I was accepting and declining (i.e. extra insurance). No inspection was done, I had to document anything on my own and report it to the drop off location. I was also not given a drop off location, but was told to call my local U-Haul place to schedule the drop off.

I original when to blue earth MN they told me the auto transport would be there at 10:00. It was not, had to go to rock valley what a hassle. Cost me time and money. Do you care?

I had reserved a 20' U-haul for a move 2 months in advance to my move. 24 hours before I was to pick it up I was told that my preferred location had changed to pick it up which wasn't a problem because it was in the same city as I had requested, but then 12 hours before I was to pick it up I was told that it was unavailable and I ended up having to drive over 50 miles to a location to pick up a vehicle that I had requested. I was told I would receive my reservation fee of $50 back for the inconvenience change which I still have not received. Then once I got to the location that was 50 miles from where I needed it I was told I may not be able to pick up the vehicle because the system was down on their end event though I had prepaid for everything and the money was already spent so I had to wait an extra half hour after arriving to wait for the system to start up. While I understand that U-haul is at the mercy of where the customer who previously had the truck returns it I do not find it acceptable to have me drive an extra 100 miles total to pick up the vehicle and then still not receive my refund which was about enough to cover the gas of the vehicle. To clarify I am not complaining about the actual location of where I picked up the U-haul truck, but instead the experience as a whole.

The individual that I dropped the trailer off with was friendly and helpful but never checked the trailer in nor was he concerned to look the trailer over for damage and to see if all the blankets were returned. He asked twice if I had insurance on the trailer. When I said yes, he said not to worry. I left not knowing when the trailer might be checked in or if it would be checked in. I spent a half an hour on hold with National UHaul to at least get some kind of documentation or notes made that it had been returned. I did get the invoice two days later from M&H that it had been checked in with no additional charges.

Good prices for pick up & return to same location useHOWEVER prices for only 8 hrs of use per day, gives potential to triple daily rate. I was direct & clear when I needed to pick it up & how long I needed it for & when to bring it back, & was happy to pay for it’s use. But rate I was quoted times 3 per day was misleading information: that’s on UHaul, not necessarily on the business.

Location is fine. I didn't like it that I had to rent for 4 days. I only needed the truck for 2 days. I would like it if I could pay for what I used it for. By returning it early the next place could rent it to another person. Why is it not a daily rental?
