TIMOTHY CARROLLWe picked up a vehicle transport trailer here. The tie down rachets were quite rusty and could have used some oil, but they are exposed to all the slop on the road. Do remember to tighten them and check again whenever you stop. Ours came off at least four times! It is a wide load, so it takes practice to keep it in the lane. Do remember to flip the fender down before opening the driver's side door. Thank you M & G.

BJ BrennekeHave a trailer available as reserved. It does your customers no good if you falsely advertise your availability and then a day or two prior notify them that the nearest trailer is an hour away and available almost a full day later than they needed it. Figure out your inventory. None of your people appear to have any interest in fulfilling the false promises you make—and who could blame them.

Mary KrebsIt is a small location. The origin locations were souly uhaul rental. It was fine but not like origin. Dont get me wrong. Your locations are good. Policy to help your customer is poor at best. After this experience i dont trust uhaul corperate.

Todd DombrowskiWell, apparently I was supposed to be called to be told where to pick this trailer up (in Appleton, WI). First went to the location I listed for pickup, but it wasn't there. When I got there the guys were nice...however it would have been nice to have it ready for me. It was frozen into the ground and they asked to use my jeep to break it free...no big deal. Then, the hitch lock mechanism was frozen, so we had to back it around a building (with him walking between my jeep and the trailer a bit dangerous) to unfreeze it with a torch. OK, so all that done, everything went fine, that is until I stopped at a gas station about 2 hrs into my trip. Apparently, the door on this trailer was loose when I got it, and just hanging on. When I opened the door to check my load, the ENTIRE back door fell off! You could tell by looking at it, that this door was broken when I picked up the trailer, it must not have been inspected very well. However, I opened up the door myself and didn't notice either, so, somehow it was holding on initially and difficult to notice. I have to say however, that in my 20+ years of renting Uhauls, this is the first "big" problem I've ever had. I ended up buying a strap to hold the door and make sure it was safe going down the highway.

Ken BilgrienTruck was great, but on the contract I was given a guide to how much gas to put in. I was near empty and it said 30 gallons to be back at 3/4 tank. I filled up 29.7 and stopped the pump manually. The truck was at full and not 3/4. So I paid more money in gas than was needed. This really upset me seeing as I based the amount I put in on what the contract said.

MARK DREZEKTruck was clean and well maintained, staff was friendly and cooperative, even kept my motorcycle inside for me while I was using truck. 10 foot GMC truck got good gas mileage and handled well. Definitely would use this location again.

David PedersenArrived at location to pickup Uhaul and moving equipment (36 furniture blankets, 1 utility dolly and 1 furniture dolly). This location was not prepared for my reservation even though I had set up a time for pickup. It didn't have the utility dolly and only had 6 of the blankets I requested. We had to wait for them to call around to other Uhaul locations to look for furniture blankets/utility dolly and for someone to go collect the equipment and bring it back to the store. I ended up short 6 blankets and wasted 20 minutes waiting. Also I had to go to another location to pick up the automotive trailer even though I reserved everything at once.

Sandra Snyderthe trailer had light issues. Signal and brake lights were not operating correctly. No issue was found with the connector or vehicle connection as it was tested later and fully operational. the customer service was great from M&G.

KIM SCHROEDERI ordered my pick up in New London, WI. I didn't expect the extra out of the way travel. I was offered an extra day which would have been fine if I were on a vacation but that was not the case. My transport was weather dependent and I needed to get some machinery to Milwaukee and drive back up north to get beans and corn out of the field. Having the availability to pick the equipment closer to where I wanted it and when I wanted it would have been much more pleasant. I didn't need the trailer on Friday but the location in New London is not open on the weekend. So picking up the trailer on Friday took me out of the field early therefore making my return on Saturday a long day as after loading I had to turn around and drive back up north as the weather is looking pretty dismal for the upcoming week. It was definitely a total inconvenience.
