The staff were friendly but I ran into problems with my rental not having a clear drop off location and then once I finally got a drop off location, the parking lot was cramped and the drop off box for the key was impossible to find. The hours were also limited so no staff were present initially to help me with the late afternoon drop off. However the next day when they were in the office, they were extremely helpful and stayed late so I could drop off the rental key after work.Nicole A.

I originally rented from the Exxon and when i arrived, was told they don't open til noon. My meeting with the storage facility was at 11am. I Googled and found Main St Storage, drove over, and the front desk person (I think it was Isabella) was awesome. She honored my reservation; got me a truck and I was out the door in less than 10 mins. I made my appointment, and all was good.cynthia S.

Deborah and Isabel of Main Street Storage were great ! They really came through for me. When I made my reservation with them for a 10 ft. truck to be picked up at 11:00 am I was politely informed that one may not be available that day but if not I would receive a phone call the night before from the U-Haul location where I would need to pick up the truck. Well since I didn't receive a call I went to pick up the truck at Main Street Storage but alas no 10 ft truck was available. I was told I needed to pick up the truck at the Grey's Corner U-Haul location (who apparently should have called me the night before but did not) not too far away so no big deal ... yet. However when I got to Grey's corner at 11:10 am I was told that no one there could rent me the truck and that the person that rents the trucks would not be in till somewhere between 12:00 and 12:30 ??? Now I have a problem as I needed to have the items I was moving to another location by 1:00 PM. So I called Main Street Storage to inform them of my dilemma ... BAM ! Deborah and Isabel to the rescue ! They told me to come back and they would take care of me with a larger truck at the same price ! Great Customer Service ! Thank You Both ! If you fall on hard times they will auction your unit. No matter your situation so make sure you can pay every month or you will lose everything. There's no grace period and no empathy. I lost my car home and job and my unit was sold. So I lost all my children items. I would recommend trying another place first.Tatorya W. | Overall Experience

The Uhaul app did not allow me to pick up the truck after hours nor could I complete the drop off with the app. Poorly designed all previous data lost if back arrow is used to correct. VERY frustrating.Thomas M.

Very Friendly associates, Very convenient. Will continue to use uhaul in the future, as I have for many years. Only problem I had was the mileage. I have never been charged in the past for mileage. The Berlin location was excellent. It was not my first choice. I originally wanted a pick up in Parksburg PA. Due to no truck available after a weeks reservation, I was forced to find a truck somewhere. Berlin came thru as did Kirstine from Easton MD U-Haul main office.Grant E.
This particular truck was in need of maintenance. This was made KNOWN to me before I took it out, as I was there when it was returned by the last customer and he reported it to the team. The team at the location offered to find me a replacement if I wasn't comfortable taking it. As it turned out, it worked out fine. They were very helpful.William A.
Originally requested a 10' at Montego Bay, got told that reservation moved to Friendship but they had no clue as to what was going on, couldn't do anything to fix the reservation so I went to this one on main street and they were more than accommodating, Carolyn and her manager went above an beyond to get everything right and after getting shuffled around and then blown off by Friendship I don't see us renting a truck from anyone else than Main Street again. I really think that the fees are not fair to the consumer. I know that the truck was swept out because I saw someone that was helping me move do it. I was charged a cleaning fee. I dropped off after hours so could not get the truck inspected upon return. The fuel fee charged was ridiclous as I drove the truck 30 mmiles in total and was charged far more than expected for the gallon or two of gas used. Lesson learned not to use this location again. I have used U-Haul on many occasions at different locations and never felt ripped off before.Wendy H.
Service at the location was very good and professional, and the equipment as advertised. That said,, the uhaul app did not work to let me upload a photo of mileage/gas. It was very frustrating and not resolved, plus a 60 minute wait to get assistance. So the local center was good, the national presence not.Peter M.
I thought the rates were reasonable and the staff extremely courteous and professional. The locker, unit 204 appeared clean when we dropped off our property. Howevver, two months later, we returned and found the locker infested with stinkbugs. We had to throw a good deal of belongings away. We had a wonderful experience with the staff, the ease of moving things in and out, the cleanliness and location. The overall experience was wonderful and The staff was amazing. This being said, I would not rent here again because all of my stuff was ruined due to flooding. I am not sure at what point it happened during our stay, but when we went to move out, our mattresses and picture frames and anything in the ground had been water stained as if it had flooded. Nothing was usable. If you rent here or anywhere, buy the insurance. I didn’t expect this with a temperature indoor unit. I am not happy that I needed to drive so far to pick up the truck. I reserved it plenty early so I shouldn't have had to drive so far to pick it up AND to add insult to injury I had to pay mileage. Your company should have either brought the truck to the location that I requested OR reimbursed me for the excess mileage. The staff was excellent at the Berlin location though.KATHLEEN M.

This place is an absolute joke. I don't appreciate trying to be framed for damages to a building that were there prior to my arrival. Someone obviously new this dent was there because a flower pot was placed exactly in the spot that the camera sees the dent. Truck was clean, however there was a leak in one of the tires that by the morning was completely flat. Repair service was dispatched relatively quickly given the area I was in. Online features and app features are extremely unreliable. I had to pick up after hours and was on the phone for an hour trying to get it sorted out. The equipment rental didn't show up on my account even though the customer service rep could see it on their end.Jacob S.

She gave me great advice to take photos incase of any problems that might be a concern at drop off. The U-Haul mobile app for my after-hours return of the truck to this facility did not work! Upon a 2nd after-hours trip back to this facility after having ascertained that the U-Haul mobile app had been correctly downloaded and installed; no go! BEWARE ... this mobile app pertaining to truck return in NOT DEPENDABLE. Additionally, usage of the app is extraordinarilly convoluted in every way possible; perhaps by design. Many complaints have been placed on record pursuant to this problem; yet nothing. That U-Haul corporate would do absolutelly nothing to scrap and invest in the development of a simple, easy-to-use app is disgusting. Their complacency pursuant to this ongoing problem speaks VOLUMES! As such, this is a slap in the face to all of the excellent U-Haul personnel 'in the trenches' on a daily basis providing the most excellent service possible at the point of sale and the point of return. As such, Isabel (more about her later) at this facility to which my truck was eventually 'returned', was forced to 'jump through hoops' and extraodinary time-consuming procedures in order to enable my truck return. What an extraordinary juxtaposition! Excellent service by U-Haul field personnel being thoughtlessly ompromised by U-Haul corporate indifference to a well-publicized and ongoing problem. It appears, on the surface, to be a case of depraved indifference on the part of U-Haul corporate; an anomaly which definately needs to be carefully investigated by the Interstate Commerce Commission. Back to Isabel! Wow! Due to all of the above, I was extraordinarilly impressed by her kind and patient handling of this entire truck return fiasco! Though never having actually met me face-to-face, she handled my truck return excellently and without incident. THE HELL WITH THE APP! Bravo Isabel! To all of the dedicated and excellent U-Haul field personnel far and wide: Bravo!! Continue in your excellence despite U-Haul brain-dead corporate indifference! Your excellent work ethic IS BEING RECOGNIZED!Michael H.
