Directions were confusing on Google maps and when we did find correct location, it stated the business was permanently closed, which made us very wary initially, had to call another uhaul place to confirm our reservation.VALERIE W.
Had to use app because no one was there picking up or dropping off (during hours that said open) Finally got around looking at email statement and I was charged for $14 for gas when I parked it with more gas than it had . Only put 21 miles on the truck and I put 3 gallons of gas back in. I was charged for 4 gallons. I did take pictures before and after. I was also charged $14 for insurance I did not want and I did not check a box for. Total $68 dollars for 1 day rental with 21 miles for a $19.99 a day truck. What out for added charges and take pictures of miles and gas hand before and afterjosh S.

Right wheel hub gives an occasional bearing "chirp" and hub gets warm to the touch. I rented a 4x8 covered trailer but had to pay for a 5x8 because the u-haul online system that the dealer uses would not accept the contract otherwise.chris brian L.
Heard bearing "squeek" during use and noticed right wheel hub was hot after use. I had originally requested a 4x8 covered trailer and Agent was unable to complete on-line contract without changing charges to the 5x8 covered trailer on lot. Unable to provide larger trailer at price of smaller requested trailer.chris brian L.

Why wait til I arrive then ask for a passport or rental agreement. And a second contact that must be available right then? That info could be requested before I got on the lot. Also the key didn't fit well in the return box. That key fob won't last if it keeps getting shoved in that small opening.leta W.

I cant believe how helpful the location man( Mitch) was, in the pouring rain helped me get set up with he car trailer. Later when the weather cleared up I had some issues with the wheels, Karen, the regional supervisor came right out and changed my tires on the trailer. Through the Corona virus a difficult situation with logistics and communication, Karen personally helped me through some glitches. GraciasCorey M.
Everything overall was fantast capability, the machine worked excellent there was no issues with it the fuel efficient was great, had enough power to pull whatever I was hauling and I felt safe driving it with my life. I would recommend that you maybe provide a couple 5000 pound rated straps ratchet straps just in case there's some dummies that will rent these trucks and think that nothing will tip over until an accident happens and it does in hurts the truck or worse flies out and hits someone else. I know there is the issue Avenue and trustworthy people and stealing the ratchet straps but maybe put a coat on him And when they take the truck back just keep it from their refund or four more profitable situation you should buy the straps and maybe run them out to people and then read their own problem it would be good for corporateJORDAN H.

Was overcharged. I came to get truck one day. They over ran my card and machine broke then I had to postpone my entire move a couple days and at that point overcharged for misc coverage I declined etc. Major inconvenience and disappointed. The man said the gas hand was on a half of tank but i took a before and after picture of the gas hand and the mileage and the gas hand wasn't on half. So when i return the truck i put it back just like it was in the picture. If i didnt take the picture they was gonna charge me for not putting the gas back like it was.lashawna C.

Have wifi available when you return the equipment. It makes it so much easier to do the internet check-in, when the location is closed. That was the only way to return it. Thanks CynCynthia C.

The lot was a 24 hour lot, pretty easy to access, but needs to have more lighting, I dropped the truck off after hours, which was convenient. But the lot was a little dark.Chya C.

I was overcharge for mileage we didn't drive and it cost us an extra 40$Briana C.
It took 2 people to close the back door. It was the farthest pick up place from me. I had to drive 20 minutes from my house to pick it up and another 20 minutes to return it. The truck had no shocks at all. The least little bump felt like you was hitting a giant hole in the road. Shook the whole truck. Transmission kept changing gears while driving at highway speeds. Had over 106,000 miles on it. Worse haul I've ever rented.Susan L.

Was on pho e with someone sat there for 10 mins while he had a personal call. The Uhaul vents were falling outthat night went to turn head lights on and they fell back in the dash. I had to reach up behind the dash to push them back in to place. Dropped it off same night after putting gas in next day i see im charged for gas. Im glad i took a picture of the gauge waiting to hear back about my refund will never use thwm againTheresa T.

I was doing some price comparisons on line via my smart phone and I chose Uhaul because they had the best rates. So from there, I reserved a 26' truck and the website offered me the option to make a reservation using my smart phone with the added benefit of being able to pick up my truck outside of the normal business hours. Although at first it was slightly confusing, I base this mainly on my inability at times to navigate thru the new age of technology but more so, unfortunately, on the lack of â€œwhat to expectâ€ information that the customer service representative who called me (right on time as stated they would) to confirm my reservation. I believe that this might have been an oversight on her part due to the initial confusion of changing what location that the size of truck I requested would be available at. Regardless, she was very kind and apologetic with the changes that needed to be made. However, the change in the location of the truck added extra mileage onto my trip and at .41 a mile PLUS a ridiculous $25 cleaning fee (that was not needed whatsoever), tends to add up real quick. So for that error on Uhaul's part, the location slip up, I'm not as pleased as I would have liked to have been in order to recommend them, let alone use them again. If Uhaul would like to reimburse me some money for mileage, then that would be all together a different story.Kathryn O.

Made the request for the W. Parrish Avenue location and when I got there, they did not have what I reserved! Had to go to the Second St location and the man there really didn't know what he was doing!Kenneth J.
They have DISGRACEFUL customer service. The reps there will raise their voice, accuse you, and are absolutely awful at talking to customers. They are AGAINST you and will not find a solution for you. And if you have an issue with the bill, be prepared to get a 'talking to'.alane T.

I didn't like that the dolly and blankets were in the way. I had my own dolly and didn't need the one in the truck but if I tried to move it out of my way I would be been charged because it wouldve broken the zip tie.larry J.
