The location I was supposed to pick up my truck didn't have it because the customer didn't return it. UHaul charges a fee to customers when they don't return the equipment to the proper location but it is me, the next customer, who is most inconvenienced and who pays the bulk of the cost. I would recommend giving the fee paid by the customer who didn't return the equipment to the right location to the customer who was inconvenienced by their actions. Currently, the next customer is inconvenienced but UHaul keeps the fee. This is a bad system.Warren B.

I dropped the truck off on Monday. The truck was not checked in until Wed. I am being charged for 2 days for which I did not have the truck. I will not be paying for those 2 extra days.Craig D.

The unit worked fine for me but one of the wheel straps was starting to come apart and the fender was broken and stuck back together with zipties, but it did what I needed it to do.Radames O.
First, the UHAUL I ordered to pick up on Saturday at 8am was unavailable (different location). I reluctantly agreed to 24 hour pick up at a different location since original location did not have what I booked. This required a Friday pickup instead of Saturday which wasn't how I wanted to schedule out part of my move but I didn't have much choice. Then I get a call that the new pick up location didn't have the truck I ordered and they upgraded us from 15 ft to 20 ft. At first I was uneasy because I was barely confident enough to drive the 15ft truck and now I have to drive a 20ft one. It turned out alright in the end but it made me very uneasy. Took us 1 hour in 30 degree weather at 9:00pm to get lock open. The combo given wasn't the correct combo. Told I would receive a call the next day about compensation and never did. On top of that, I get in the truck and every time I started the truck "Oil Change Required" flashed on the odometer. I was afraid all day the truck would break down and throw my whole move off. Overall wasn't a very pleasant experience.Sara P.

I am totally dissatisfied with my return. i drove and accumulated additional miles trying to find where to return it. i could of just did a local and returned it back to Kernersville but was told if i didn't need it anymore then whitsett would be fine. i was charged all of this additional money due to information purposes. i also had to drive to another location in whitsett because 1 place said i cant return it there or i would be charged between 300 to 900 but i had no place specifically where to return it. i was told after waitin gfor customer service for over 12 minutes that i can return it anywhere in whitsett and to call a 800 number she made a note telling me to return to 6605 Burlington road and when i got there the lady said the same thing she said she didn't have me returning it there. i told her they are about to stop making me drive back and forth accumulating extra miles as a result of their poor communication i have her my contract so she can see it says to call the 800 number when ready to return. i was over charged and i am pissed. i did request the number for corporate so i can file a complaint big time.Latisha B.

We had a 5 pm pick up reservation and the store closed early. Had to wait for someone to come back so we could pick up truck. We also did not get appliance dolly we reserved.William Donald S.
The trailer I rented was buried out in a field that was inaccessible by my truck. The employee that finally showed up (the trailer was at the wrong location), said she wasn't going to help move the trailer so I could load it onto the truck, so I had to manually move it with a bad back. By time I was done, my back hurt so badly I could barely sit down. When I went to check the trailer out, she tried to make me adhere to my checkout time even though it took an hour to get to the trailer and get it fastened to my truck.Maurice O.

I don't know, it was closed and we dropped the keys in a box. I'm glad they had the box though, dropping the truck off during regular business hours would have been inconvenient at best.April F.

Location was closed. Took some time to drop off truck due to having to take specific pictures but no hassle and nice that we could drop it off at our convenience.Patrick M.
The paperwork wasn't ready and they had to finally call the company for help. It took forever to return the truck. Overall I wasn't happy with U-haul when I booked it. The website wasn't very easy to navigate and it took several calls, emails and chats to resolve matters.Mike U.
