I had ordered a 10 foot truck and one was said to be available but then I was down graded to a 9 foot van which made my move take longer than I wanted it too. But all in all it was a good experience!

We waited 2 and a half hours to get approved to drive the vehicle. Because it was a Saturday the location was closed so we couldn't get any nearby help. We called over the phone, it just rang for 40 minutes on hold. It was just a poor experience for a self serve system... really disappointed.

The off hours pick up and drop off process is brutal. The requirement to use the GPS on a phone is cumbersome and exclusive. It would be much more accessible and logical to use a GPS on the vehicle, which I'm sure you have for tracking purposes anyway. The odometer tracking method was full of errors, and required us to send in photos, which we're lucky we took. Be up front in the rental confirmation email that photos of the odometer are required, and eliminate the error prone on board/ computer check. All that said, the customer service representatives on the phone were very friendly and helpful and solved all our problems, and the wait time to speak to them wasn't too long.

Have uhaul reps know that location is closed Saturday and Sunday so no reservation changes (in terms of additional supplies) can be made then.
