I myself rented a 26 foot box truck. Id like to see if your salesman would actually do a walk around with my self and the truck it was not performed at this location so we took pictures just in case because it did have a little bit of scratches all up and down the sides no dents it was clean pretty much that's a bad all I guess.BRIAN C.

It is a store front and the truck was parked in a common shopping center parking lot. The agent unlocked the cargo latch and walked away. He did not inspect the truck with me or answer any questions. Horrible customer serviceBrendan C.

I reserved the trailer months ago to pick up in Tustin, CA. Then I get a notification that I have to drive to West Anaheim to pick up the trailer because Tustin didn't have what I reserved! I was not happy having to drive 30 minutes in rush hour traffic to pick up something I had reserved with a credit card. The West Anaheim facility is a Postal Annex type of business. The owner was very busy that time of day with package shipping. UHaul rentals is just one part of her business. So we had to wait 15-20 minutes and she was very busy with other customers so we had to wait until she could leave her store to go to the back of the building to show us the trailer. Nothing bad on her, she was doing her very best to service us, but this whole pick-up process was inconvenient for us. I think U-Haul could have done a lot better to ensure we would be able to pick up what we had reserved at our location. Waste of gas and time for us.MICHAEL T.

I called to let them know that the taillights did not work on the truck but NO ONE EVER ANSWERED! I finally had to do a "chat" with someone on the UHaul site and that was a joke, too. We were OVERCHARGED because we couldn't use the uHaul at night and needed it an extra day, which now took us into memorial Day Holiday and no one was answering any phones! Horrible experience.REX T.

Representative initially had me hook up trailer. I had issues and he was reluctant to help. Eventually did and he had same issues. Connected trailer with chains dragging which would have created sparks. I changed chains. Rep did not have me check lighting. Worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul. I mad reservation two months in advance and had to travel 45 min to get trailer and was not the size I ordered. Unacceptable for a reservation made two months in advance.KENNETH R.

Store mandated $10.00 collision damage fee although when making my reservation, I opted out. In the store, when filling out some required onscreen information, that same question appeared re opt-in or, and I declined. The clerk advised he could not rent the cargo van unless I opt-in, although that is not what I reserved, and not what U-Haul represents as options. Clerk said his manager mandates: no rental unless opt-in! Was able to reverse fee with customer service today.GREGORY P.

I was short with the guy who helped me at mail box store. He didn't know how to help me with the phone registration. I had him check me in instead. I apologized 3 times, once before I left, the second time I came back just to say I was sorry that I was short with him, the third time when I dropped off the keys. Never once did he acknowledge my apology. Also, the rear view mirror was broken. I had to have the passenger look out the window every time I had to change lanes. Not good at all!!!DEBORAH F.

Aaron at your Mid City location was excellent to work with! He let me know that the trailer I reserved was not available and I thought oh no my moving day is destroyed. But Aaron was already working on a solution and was able to find me a truck which changed my plans of driving back home to flying but my moving day was saved. Thank you Aaron :)Chris N.
Honestly, was very disappointed with my experience. I booked my rental for pick up at Haz Rental and for 7am. Somehow my rental changed to 8am and a different location was assigned. I did not see the email that was sent and didn't know until I showed up to Haz and they didn't have my truck. Then the employee at Haz was not very helpful. Went to the new location where I could barely understand the guy and he didn't give any details on what I was supposed to do after I picked up the truck (ie. the checklist that gets texted to you) or if I should put gas back in it. Due to these issues I was set back 2hrs and not happy at all.Cassandra O.

I declined the Safe Move coverage, but was charged $14 anyway. I was overcharged for fuel. I drove 45 miles but was charged for 8 gallons of fuel, which implies an MPG of 5.25. The employees at the store were rude and failed to provide the dolly that was reserved, so we had to go back to the store. My original reservation was for a Uhaul location next to my house, but was switched the day prior to pickup, requiring extra mileage.KARL M.

The truck was filthy. The AC only worked on full blast. The brakes and steering definitely needs to be serviced. I was told to go around the back behind the laundromat and I'd find the truck. I asked if it had the furniture dolly in it already. She said those are back there. Drove around back no furniture dolly in the truck. When I say filthy I mean it was a mess. Could barely see out of the window. Still haven't received the paperwork that the man said he would email to close out the rental which was 2 days ago.Tanya C.

Decided to pick out a moving haul truck for my first time from this location or any. Which the lady only explained that it was $20 for the truck and also a1.19 for a mile. Returned the truck the same day but I forgot my toolbox in the back so I had to return the next day, on return I entered the store and ask the gentleman if he had seen a toolbox and he said yes but you forgot to put gas very rudely with poor communication skills. This was my first time renting out a truck so wasn't really sure on how it worked. He said you have to pay $5 every mile very rudely so I explained to the gentleman how much do I owe you I'm willing to pay the difference of how much do I owe you or how could you just didn't take it out of my credit card. Then he responded real rudely this time is fine but don't do it next time.When I rented out the truck the lady had mentioned nothing about gas or I would have put gas in like I said this was my first time and definitely my last time going back to this place plus on top of it that U-Haul truck was not clean in the driver and passenger side. Very unsanitary especially with everything going on in the world right now.THALIA B.
