I realize this is Brooklyn and people don’t think that they have to be professional at all, but she should be fired. The truck was on empty and she acted like that was not her problem. Rude and unprofessional from the second we walked in. It is my moving day and the last thing I need is to drive a 15 foot truck through a gas station in New York City.

Also there was a glitch in system which did not allow me to enter an alternate person because every phone number i put down would give me a message saying “phone number already in use” ended up putting random phone numbers until one of them allowed me to continue, only to be turned down bc “alternate person couldnt be reached” absolutely more difficult and and time consuming then just going to desk attendant.

Daniel SandowickWe received the truck at less than 1/4 tank. This was discussed when we checked the truck out. We returned it with more than 1/4 tank of gas. However, when we looked at the contract it stated there was a 3/8 tank of gas. This resulted in a $12 gas charge which could have been avoided.

NEil BlitzerI was told everything was contacless and i had to pick up truck using my phone. I had difficulty with the u-haul app and website, it would not recognize my phone's location. When I told the owner of the store he told me I had to call Uhaul. He refused to help. After 20 minutes on the phone the agent was not able to get my phone to recognize the store's location. I had to go back inside and she had to ask the owner if he would please give me the keys. he reluctantly did give me the keys.Not a pleasant experience

ED LEVYI was extremely disappointed in the fact that I added a hand truck and moving padding onto my order. Our order was placed weeks in advance. My husband and I picked up our truck and approved the order. It wasn’t until I got to my location with the truck did I realize that there was no hand truck and padding. I contact the store which I picked the truck up from and said we were supposed to have those items and they were not in the truck. He advised they didn’t have them and that’s why it was not in there. It was extremely aggravating that we were not provided with sufficient and/or ANY notice that the items were not available to make additional arrangements. We were expecting to have them since we ordered them. We were doing a move without the items to aid us in that. I am extremely disappointed in the service and lack of advanced notice.

Diane LauriceThe people at Mail Boxes were wonderful to deal with, with that said the online part of u Haul sinks. I made a reservation on line and it sent me to another store for pick up, I check to make sure I did it right and I did, but sent me to another store, which was something I didn't want.. So I canceled the reservation by phone and they assured me it was canceled. I want to my preferred in person store and made the reservation for Saturday, the guy in the store was great showed me the reservation on the computer. When I returned on Saturday my reservation was mysteriously canceled. The guy in the store couldn't apologized enough and found me a van at his other store and again was great, but as for U Haul on line or other wise I would never use again nor would I recommend them. Leonard MollodWe experienced some confusion at check-in. I received a receipt today which did not match my "estimate." Upon clarification the site had billed me differently (because my original planned use had changed) and they actually saved me some money. I appreciate their efforts on my behalf.

The place that was suppose to have the van didn't have it. so that was an extra 12 miles that I had to pay for that I did not want to pay.
