The reason for average is U-Haul had us to bring back the truck to a location that is not a vendor anymore. We brought our truck back and they indicated that they are no longer a U/Haul facility. They did take the truck back and processed the return.

The person that dealt with the Uhauls wasn't there at the time I was scheduled to pick up and the woman working was extremely unhelpful. She kept stating that he we was asleep and wouldn't be in for 3 hours. We asked her to call him and she refused. I paid for a dolly which wasn't in the truck forcing me to go to another location to get one. The inside of the truck was filthy with water bottles, cups and trash. The cup holders were sticky with some unknown substance and there was what I can only assume was soda splashed all over the dashboard. The front windshield was streaked with oily handprints all over. If you are going to rent a UHaul, choose any other location than this one! I will NEVER recommend this location ever.

Christopher KLocation was good. App froze while loaded pictures of truck and then when I tried to get back into it, it showed our return was complete. I was unable to return keys in drop box. Clerk in store didn't seem to know much about it, and I left feeling concerned with the outcome of the check-in process and no real recourse should something out of our control occurred.

Christie DWell for starters you can stop over charging customers for being late when your app doesn't work correctly and by telling them that there request for a extended day isn't possible because a family is waiting on you to bring it back. When in reality there is not a family waiting just so you can charge this huge late fee.. it's ridiculous the way you go about your business tactics...
Sheri WI originally scheduled the pick up a U-HauI store location. My reason is I didn't want to have to pick up the truck using an app. When the alternate pick up location came over I should have declined it but did not. When I went to the alternate location I went inside and the counter person said I had to call U-Haul. I also asked about missing blankets and they had none plus the U-Haul person would not be in until 10 AM.I spoke to Denise who was very helpful walking me through the app process. 1 1/2 hours later I was good to go but there were no moving blankets in the truck that I had paid for. I drove to the U-Haul store (original pick up location) and asked about blankets. They counter person there said they had not had them for rent in months. She said a note was entered on my behalf indicating that I did not receive the blankets. When I tried to drop off the vehicle using the app, it would not let me log on. I spoke to Mike who also was very helpful. I was not at the store location which he said is where I needed to be. I drove to the drop off location and finalized my rental. Everything went well at the drop off but still did not use the app. I dropped the truck off one day ahead of schedule. Can I get a refund? Also, I never received the blankets and definitely want a refund for that.

Fredrick EUHaul needs to send a completion of contract email to the user. Once I did my online drop-off the contract disappeared as though I had never rented this truck. I was concerned until I got the email asking for a review that it somehow wasn't closed correctly.
Christopher MThis location was with a gas station, barely any parking, we returned the vehicle 14 hours before it was due, with more gas than we left West Palm Beach with and still had a problem with being charged for the extra day that was free, and charged for gas when we had proof and sent it to a representative, that we left West Palm Beach with 1/2 tank of gas, and returned it with over a half tank.
betty bMy pickup location was switched the day before pickup. My reservation time as 8am. When I arrived to pick up the truck at the new location, I was told that no one would be in until 10 that could help me. I called into Uhaul and was told by the representative "I guess you'll have to wait until 10. I had movers arriving at 9am to move my retirement age mother from FL to GA and had no men with us. I explained this to the representative and she told me she would transfer me to someone who could help. After being on hold for a few moments the line disconnected. I contacted the originally scheduled pickup office. She was able to help me switch my reservation so I could pick up the uhaul with just my phone. I also paid for furniture pads and a dolly that were not in the truck.

Anthony BI checked in early the day before my pick up. They did not have the blankets for the truck. They also told me they were not be there at 7 AM in the morning which was my pick up time. The representative did go get blankets but I had to return to the pick up location on Friday night to get the keys. I took a picture of the gas gage And noted that it was lower than it was marked on the sheet. When I went to check out he charged an additional $85. I thought I had pre-paid 100% of the rental.
BETTY WThis is by far the worst location to pick up from. First our truck was not even there. They informed us that they rented it out to someone else and we need to try to find another location. They also told us they never saw my reservation. The person who is over the U-Haul situation was not even on site. His dad was whom did not know what was going on was there. We were then told the closest site with a truck our size was over 2 hours away. After over an hour of trying to get in touch with him or the driver i was informed that they would be back at 8pm to return the truck and he would set up the ride share for me to pick it up. Did not get the U-Haul until 830pm. All I received was a $50 credit. Which i feel was not enough for my troubles. To improve you can start by confirming the day of pickup with the location the times of customers reservation and make sure the equipment is in place.

Rori CThe only issue I had was that I had reserved an appliance dolly and I was shocked when I arrived and was told they did not have one. I never considered that possibility and while the staff person was nice, I was very disappointed as i was moving and needed the appliance dolly. The staff person called around and no one near had one. He gave me a regular dolly, but it was not what I needed.

Shane SOverall uhaul reservation process is the worst. Why would uhaul set a reservation for a place that is closed. Then have to drive out of town to get a truck. It took 45 minutes to speak to a live person. Then drop off was a nightmare. Did the 24/7 online drop off. It kept sending me back to the beginning at the very end of the completion, as if I hadn't done the step by step process. Did it twice and it still kept kicking me back. Thank GOD a nice man who worked at the gas station came out and took the keys and did all the paperwork. NOBODY WANTS TO DEAL WITH YOUR TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES AT THE END OF A LONG MOVE DAY. AND THE TIME BEFORE LAST WE MOVED YOUR REP SEND US OUT OF STATE TO DROP OFF THE UHAUL. WE WILL NEVER USE YOU AGAIN NEVER. AGAIN. LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER
Christopher WWhen we ordered the u haul, we were going to have to rent it from a place that was 1 hour away. We were contacted the day before by a U Haul scheduler who said the Mahan location was now our pick up location. We were thrilled as this saved us time and resources during a stressful move. Thank. you Uhaul!
Alisa WNot only was the key dropbox broken but when I completed the self-checkin process, there was no code given to me to unlock the dropbox with. Thankfully the station was open and someone was able to take the keys from me.

Wesley LI live nearby the U-Haul at 2201 W Tennessee St, at Tallahassee FL, and personally went there a week ahead to reserve a small truck big enough to carry a bed and two night tables one way to Miami. I received several messages and calls over the week on changing the pick up location or the size of the truck due to unavailability of what I requested. Long story short, I end up picking a 21 feet truck at 13 miles from my home. Early next morning, I passed by 2201 W Tennessee and saw two shinny little trucks parked there and keep my way down to Miami on my big old truck thinking... I've been used as a driver to relocate this truck for U-haul at my own expenses. Not a pleasant trip after all.

Andrew LI completed my process using the online pickup process. I ordered additional equipment (pads), and did not receive any. There were other options for additional equipment (hand truck, furniture dolly, etc...) and if I would have requested these items, I would have no way of receiving them.
Dustin EAttendant was not site even after I called to find out when I could drop the rental. Advertised hours showed store to open at 9:00 AM and I was deferred until 10:00 AM and staff was still not on site.
Bob GHow about y'all have the equipment people pay for online at the places that uhaul says they are. Then try not having people drive around to your drop off spots because you don't understand how to find a drop off. This a complaint on uhaul not this location
Bryant CI went to 4 different drop off locations. The first location doesn't exist. The next location I drove to doesn't except 26 ft trucks. 3rd location was closed and the last location allowed me to drop the truck off. This has caused me to use more miles and gas and was an extreme inconvenience. I will never use U-Haul again. I expect to be credited for my U-Haul rental.
Anthony MEverything went great. It was a little slow getting checked in through the app. The drop off procedure within the app just ended and it still showed my truck as in use and I had to call to be sure everything was taken care of. The app said someone would call me within 24 hours to discuss the bill and they never did. Otherwise great experience and very convenient.
