I drove the truck only 7 miles. But to match the fuel back, I spend $6.72 which is for 2 gallons. This truck is not even giving mileage 10 per gallon. It's really worst and addition expense for the customers.Ravichandran S.

First and foremost, the condition of the truck was not up to the standard I expected from U-Haul. The most significant concerns I had were related to the vehicle's braking system, acceleration, and steering control. Here is a breakdown of my observations: Braking System: The brakes on the truck did not perform as expected. They felt spongy and unresponsive, which made driving the vehicle in traffic a safety concern. Acceleration: The truck's acceleration was inconsistent and sluggish. It struggled to gain speed quickly, which was particularly problematic when merging onto highways and navigating uphill terrain. Steering Control: I noticed that the steering control was loose and somewhat unresponsive, especially when making sharp turns. This made the vehicle difficult to maneuver safely. Overall, these issues significantly impacted my rental experience and raised safety concerns during my journey. I want to emphasize that I have rented from U-Haul on several occasions in the past, and this experience was not in line with the quality of service and equipment I have come to expect from your company. My pickup time was somehow changed by the system 12 hours before my scheduled move so the following day I was unable to use the 24/7 service to access my truck. It took over an hour of calling and waiting to reach someone in U-Haul customer service to solve the issue. Each time I tried filing a complaint with U-Haul, I was told someone would contact me within 3 days but no one ever did. Definitely will be my last time renting from U-Haul altogether. This store was awful. First, it's not an actual store, it's a full blown liquor store that takes uhaul reservations. The employees don't have much info on the bookings outside of what information you give them. The trucks are parked very far from the actual storefront. In addition, please be on the lookout for employees adding on additional services without your authorization. Highly do not recommend. Will never rent here again. BUYER BEWARE.Matthew M.

There was a bottle of urine between the passenger seat and the door that fell out when I opened that door while moving. Luckily it was sealed but all the same, disgusting. The vehicle was low on refrigerant or had a bad AC because I was very warm while driving. The vehicle got the job done but it was uncomfortable to drive.Kenneth P.
2 days after returning the truck i received a call from Customer Service saying that my truck was not returned and please return. Imagine that shock. Luckily for me, I note down the times and the mileage whenever i used a U haul and even though the truck was returned within 2 hours (booked for 3 hours) my rental said still active. Luckily i had all the data and communicated the same to the customer service agent. I called after a few hours and wanted to know what happened and they mentioned they are trying to get in touch with the rental location but no response. Wanting to end this issue soon i called myself the location and explained the whole scenario. At which point the gentleman apologized and said it was a technical glitch and it would be sorted out soon. This was after when i asked at the time of returning do you want to check everything. He said they are too busy with customers in the store right now and I am good to go and everything will be alright. Clearly it wasn't. Haven't had a experience like this before. Here is the funny part. Another rental was due for the same truck hence the reason they called. Wonder what would have happened if in case my reservation was still active. Finally after a few hours, I get an e-mail with the final bill.Victor E.

We got cheated on our rental time. It was a mess from retrieving the truck to returning it. Took us over an hour to retrieve it and the and 30 minutes past our checkout time to returned it. Driver's door was not completely closing and was giving all the time. Trolley was not given made it very difficult to load, and moving help booked never showed up made it even difficult to unload, more than help it proved to be pain!Deepesh M.

The cargo van was not ready by the pickup time. i had to wait for 15-20mins past the pickup time to drive the van out of the lot. There was a washer fluid low and tire pressure low warning sign on the dashboard. The check in was done by the person at the location rather than me, it was a little confusing. The fuel reading was entered as half tank but the meter was slightly below half tank and i returned it at the same level but was charged for 1 gallon of fuel (approx $4.50). I also declined coverage during booking but i got billed for the same ($10) which i didn't expect. Over all it was not a great experience because the truck rental was delayed slightly and i also got charged ~$15 bucks more than the expected bill. Definitely will not go backManideep L.

the mobile pick up was a hassle. also, we reserved an appliance dolly and this truck online only to learn the location was actually closed on Sunday. the option to rent the appliance dolly should not be available to users if it's actually not available to use. this is something we were counting on having as we were moving a washer, dryer and refrigerator.Chad H.
The guy threatened me with a tow fee because I returned the equipment to another location. He also allowed me to use anyones credit card with out verification of authority to do so. But he wouldn't accept my own personal card payment which was odd because on the site it clearly stated I can pay in the form of cash check or card. Not specifying whether credit or debit. Which he did not uphold. Then I had to wait 2 hours for my rental and the reservation I requested was modified which was totally unprofessional.
