I was given the truck with under a quarter tank of fuelâ€¦ I drove it 4 miles after picking it up and the low fuel light comes on. I put 36 miles on the truck and put 12.00 worth of gas in it. When I returned it your person said it was okay to leave it, he did not look at it. He then sends me a receipt by email with added fuel charges, which is both unfair and dishonest. He said there was nothing he could do about it. I have been cheated and am very unhappy about it. I can tell you that your rep at the store couldn't seem to care less.James R.

I use MacArthur 121 Tire & Service Inc to service all my cars, so I was happy that they are also a U-Haul location. The people here are fantastic. I rent a truck/trailer at least twice a year, so this is my preferred location. The 6'X12' trailer I rented this week was a new model which had the most simple tongue-to hitch connection I have ever seen.Darrell O.

Saved the day after we found out that the original location, Leo's Pet Dispensary, was closed for good. They answered the phone promptly and found a solution to return the trailer instead of remaining on hold with uhaul customer service for 8+ minutes.Jason G.

Have the items that I rented on the truck when I come pick it up. I had to call the main help number to get what I needed, then had to drive 15 minutes to another location to get what I needed. No discount was offered when I didn't get what I paid for. Not even an apology.Derryk P.

The online process was self-explanatory, smooth and easy. The customer pick-up was conducted in a professional manner. There was a bit of a wait time, but it was to be expected at a tire shop. The van itself was clean and ticked all our boxes for a convenient and efficient move. No hidden fees, fast transaction with documented receipt.John H.
The truck was clean, but not well maintained. The vehicle we were given should not be driven on the highway as the tires were so out of balance it bounced all over the road and felt very unsafe to drive. I am used to driving trucks, that is not the issue. As I was driving down the highway, the driver window popped out of the rubber gaskets holding it into place. The window was being pulled away from the door frame about 6 inches. It seems like a miracle it didn't just shatter. We were not in an area we could pull over as it was a 2 lane highway. I slowed and was able to pull it in enough to roll the window part way down. My husband was able to put the window back into place and it not be an issue for the drive home. This is the worst rental truck I have EVER used. Not please at all with this shaking truck. POSStacie S.

I was forced to present lease documents to prove that I was a local renter. This rule was not stated prior to rental. I had to return home to retrieve these documents. Why does it matter where I live? If it does, customers should be forewarned. This is not the fault of the franchisee, it is the fault of U Haul.ROBERT JAMES R.

Exhausted and frustrated experience with UHAUL!!!! I had reservations for a 15' truck, utility dolly and car tow dolly. My pickup location was about 3 minutes from my home. I happen to check my emails hours before my pickup time and noticed an email with change of location. It would have been nice to have gotten a text message or call from UHaul to let me know that they changed my pickup location. I got to the new location about 10 minutes before my pickup time at 4:00pm. The location was located inside of an auto service shop. I went in and the guy(on the auto services side) said that he would be with me. I waited and waited. He helped EVERYONE on the auto side, which some came in AFTER me! He finally came to help and he had NO CLUE about renting UHaul equipments. He said the guy that take care of it was out with COVID. So, he called several numbers to get help and no answer. Finally, Kyle from another location called backed to help him. I was there almost an hour. He and Kyle told me that I couldn't get the car tow dolly right then. I paid for the service online during my reservation, to have them to hook my car on the tow dolly. Kyle said that it's state LAW that they can't hook it up there and someone would call me shortly for me to bring the UHaul truck and car to them to hook up. I was confused but ok. I left with the 15' truck and went home. We packed the truck, which it didn't take long because it was things going to a dorm. I waited and waited for the call to hook the car up. NO CALL!!! I called customer services because it's almost 7:00 pm and we should have been on the road. I talked with a nice and knowledgeable lady name Sarah. I explained to her about the car tow dolly and she found me a UHaul location to get the car hooked up which they were going to be closing soon. We had to go all the way to another location and the lady there didn't know how to hook the car up. She called her assistant manager to come and help. We waited and waited. He came. We were there for an hour. Finally, on the road hours behind time. We were 40 miles from the college and stopped to get gas and the car came off the dolly some. It's 11:00pm. I contacted road side assistance and the lady was VERY HELPFUL and found someone to come and help which was going to take about 40 minutes. The guy from the tow company called and informed me that someone was coming in 40 minutes. The same lady from road side assistance called several times to check to see if we got help. I don't remember her name but thank you for checking. Thank you so much to the tow guy that helped! We finally left the gas station at 1:00am!!Gwenetta F.

Reservations were made online, upon arriving to pick up van I was told that only a Lewisville or Coppell address was acceptable on driver's license . I live in another city about 4 miles away. This should have been disclosed in your reservation systemAnna H.
Pickup location had additional requirements not disclosed in reservation (required a second signer, plus second form of ID in addition to drivers license). The associate assisting was inexperienced- took him 30 minutes to examine tow vehicle- after he talked to his boss was ready to go in seconds.EMERY T.

The guy at the desk was super helpful, real nice guy. The online check in and check out process is absolutely terrible though. Very long, lots of pictures you have to take, etc. I get why they do this- puts all the burden on the customer and they don't have to pay employees. Crappy way to run a business though.Anthony S.

The truck I had seemed to have weird issues downshifting. You'd tap on the breaks and it would go from like 4th gear to first. Might need to be looked at. The services were excellent and the people who helped were extremely niceDAN T P.

The â€œreserved locationâ€ was changed one day prior to pickup. I asked to be sure that an appliance dolly would be avail and was assured it would be. Upon arrival they did not have one available. The gentleman at the location attempted to locate one at a nearby store but no one had any. Availability should be confirmed through the reservation system for better customer service.BRANDON S.
