Service was very very good. The truck had a hole on the gas fill tube, that was a little concerning, when I was going to replace gas lots of it spilled on the ground. Chris reassured me I wasn't gonna be charged extra since I could only fill it so far.

Charlotte BI usually retrurn uhaul before the office closed, however this was first time renting at this location, they close at 3 pm on Sat, and no further insturctions when I check it out. Owner seems stressed out and did not want to say one more word . returned at 6 pm and called the Uhaul Corp call center to confrim I can drop off the key at the drop off box and leave the truck in parking lot . The Person who pick up my call was supper rude, he told me I have to pay extra day because I returned lated. It was my responsibility to pay extra. I actully asking to speak with someone else who is more respectful ,but this person was just went silent on the other line for a long time. At the end of the call, I was finally told , this is the locatioin does not open on Sunday , I have to come back on Monday, I am not allowed to put key in drop off box on the door nor leave the 26' large truck here. I have to drive it home and pay the extra milage. HE surely mentioned all the extra I have to pay instead of explaining how it should work. Nothing against rental truck , buy the whole communication experience was awful from U Haul staff . The location office looks weired and not very friendly. Super incovience.
Hong MThis was my time renting a U-Haul Vehicle. I rented a 15' Truck. The check-in was an easy process. The staff was nice and chill. I never drove a Truck before, but for the most part, it was fairly simple to drive. It may get some used to, but you will adapt to driving one real quick. The only thing you should do when driving a I-Haul Truck is to brake earlier. When I Check back in and dropped off the U-Haul truck, everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this U-Haul rental location.

Atiqullah SI picked up my Uhaul on 3/22/2024 at 4100 Florin Perkins Rd. Sacramento CA, 95826 so I could move my family belongings to Tennessee. I ordered 2 packs of moving blankets. I received 2 blankets, not 2 packs. The blankets were not folded, the back of the truck was not swept. I had the rep at the pick up location marked a few dings and dents. The interior was not cleaned out either, with coffee stains on the cupholders. The check engine light came on minutes after leaving the pickup location, and remained on the entire trip. Where it all went real bad is when I was cleaning out the truck (both the area in the back and the cab), I found A LOADED .22 CALIBER PISTOL UNDER THE SEAT. This pistol did not have a trigger guard, and is semi-automatic. Had I been involved in an accident or hit a very hard bump, the pistol could have fired both rounds and I could have had 2 .22 caliber bullets ricocheting around the cab. While driving though CA, if I was pulled over and the cab searched for some reason, the officer would have found this LOADED CONCEALED FIREARM. I would have been subject to multiple felonies (concealed weapon without permit, carrying a loaded firearm, having an unregistered firearm). My 3 year old son was in the cab with me when I found the weapon. I then called the Memphis PD to have them come pick up the firearm and make a report. When I turned in the truck to the UHaul location on 3/28/2024 at 370 Union Ave, Memphis, TN 38103 and told them about the weapon, they were not concerned, said there was nothing they could do, and that I needed to call the pickup location. They also said I could call UHaul corporate. I called the pickup location, let them know what happened, and was told to call UHaul customer service. I then called UHaul customer service to file a complaint. The rep on the phone took my information, and said that someone would get back to me in 3 business days. No one responded to me by Tuesday 4/2/2024. On Tuesday 4/2/2024, I filed a claim with repwest, since I purchased SafeMove+ for 199.99. After filing the claim, I called the Uhaul customer service line and was connected with Karina C. She was the first person at UHaul to voice concern over the situation. She let me know that no one at the store levels in either Sacramento or Memphis noted that I had found a LOADED FIREARM, and that the customer service person I spoke to on 3/28/2024 did not follow the proper procedures in regard to what happened. Apparently those people were hoping I would just go away. Karina told me that she had escalated this situation to the Sacramento Marketing Company President Melissa Easley and her assistant Rebecca Luna at 916-929-7555. I am expecting to get a full refund of the $3709.92 I spent to be unwilfully and unknowing subject to possible death or imprisonment.

Vivian GTruck was un-driveable. Was clearly down on power, at one point it was smoking from the engine bay, you could smell the unburned gas in the cab, and it struggled to get up small hills even when completely empty. The suspension was non-existent, if you hit a pothole it would almost rip the steering wheel out of your hands. The brakes squealed very badly and the steering was all over the place. The truck is not safe to be rented. Returned it and went to rent a truck from somewhere else. The workers were very polite and kind but we would not return to this location due to the poor quality and cleanliness of the truck.

scott tI'll first start with the clerk was pleasant, however it must have been his first U-Haul rental as he did not know the process. We get to the end of the process and he responds with "when are you returning the U-Haul", I said at 4 o'clock, it's on the contract, he the said "we close at 3". I said ok, I need it to 4 o'clock. Then a lady walks in and says we close at 4, we cancel the reservation and see if we can find you one. Here's the situation, we were moving our son who is getting ready to start college, we only had this day to do it due to prior obligations. Knowing I only had a few hours I just said I'll do my best to be back by 3PM, and I was, however because of the rush, and not being able to keep the unit until the contracted time, I didn't have time to put gas in the unit, which equated to two gallons, and I was charged for the gas. Why? If that was necessary, then the expectation is that you refund the hourly price for the hour I was not able to keep the unit, or refund the gas charge. That would be most appropriate.
Damon SThe gentleman that runs the shop is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and professional. While the interior of the truck was not clean, I did not expect it would be and had no problem cleaning it myself once I picked it up, on the inside. Would definitely use this location again and recommend that you stock the place with packing boxes, as you could probably make some good additional money from that.

Richard LIf you say your only going to charge me $37 for gas (which is outrageous for a quarter of a tank) then charge ne $37, NOT $87!! Worst customer service. Wouldn't recommend it. I was charged $75 that day and then $87 dollars a few days later! Outrageous!!!! They did nothing to make it right, just kept arguing with me so I just said fuck it and look my loss.

It was hard to see out of when the sun was at certain angles. That would make the trucks a little safer to drive. Other than that, the service was great. ¡Gracias!
