Don't like the fact that after I returned the vehicle that no one came out to inspect it. I was told that is done later. Well my concern was what if the vehicle gets damaged after I parked it. It's parked at a variety store where cars come and go and anything could happen I.e. someone hits it, opens their car door and dents it etc. I ended up taking a 360 video of the vehicle after I dropped it off just in case.ANTONIO A.

Scammers. Do NOT rent from this people. The truck was dirty inside when it was rented. I took a video before and after. It was returned exactly same condition. Upon returning the vehicle, they wouldn't come outside to check the vehicle to close the return. The store had any customers at all. They said I'll get your final bill in email. I left trusting the people running the store will be honest. They charged cleaning fee $25. Now, I'm spending my own precious time on calls trying to fight for this scam. This is their trick... !!! Had the truck booked for 8am Got notification the keys not left in pick location, store didn't open until 9:30. U-Haul telephone person very off hand with me. Truck cab full used gloves and garbage, smelled of smoke.Very dirty.Sheri W.

My issue is not with the rental pickup location but with the mobile check in process. It took over an hour to complete as your system would not process the images taken for drivers license through the app, which I was told by a customer service rep was the only way to check-in. Finally I switched to web browser on my phone and it worked but it was still extremely slow. I was outdoors and had a full wifi signal so the issue was not on my end. As you can imagine, losing an entire hour before even starting my move was extremely frustrating and set our day back. The live chats were also extremely slow to respond and not helpful, my husband ended dup having to call in on his phone to your line. Then at the end the code to unlock the keypad on the truck didnt work. Your browser gave me a number to call when that happens which was not in service. I will never use this method to pick up and potentially never use uhail again. Extremely dissatisfied.Adam H.

I loved the location and the staff working there were very very helpful, HOWEVER, the online mobile check in / pick up was absolutely appalling. There were no alerts on my app that told me there was an issue verifying - even though I had verified the information weeks prior. THEN, I had to go on the phone and wait for 18 +. minutes only for me to find out that it was all approved, yet again, the app didn't alert me. I could've been on the phone for 30+ minutes without knowing. This cut into my reservation time by 45 or more minutes. I should be credited bacK, at the VERY least, $50Jonathan W.

I did express check in. Got an email to confirm express check in is completed, simply go pick up keys by showing ID. I got there and took me 40 minutes before I was able to walk out with keys Total disappointment Wasted so much time Truck was covered in snow with no snow brush Complete mess I should really get at least 50% discount for so much hassleRizwan K.

Don't ask me to sign up online beforehand then do it all over again at the location especially at a location with no cell signal or wifi. It takes too long. Why not have one of your people try to use your ineffective system yourselves so you can see what you are putting your customers through. Total bull !!William J.

When I arrived for pickup, there was a discrepancy with the dates. I originally had it scheduled for 24 hours but the system should it for a 2 day rental. After help from the store workers, we were unable to change the dates. With that being said, the staff told us to just take the uhaul as a 2 day rental and drop it off within 24 hours so that uhaul will reimburse me of the extra day. In doing so, when we arrived at Niagara falls, they told us that they could not do that because they were governed by different management than luck twyn variety. The Niagara location was kind enough to phone to resolve the matter, but there was no answer. With no way of contacting them without driving back 2 hours to the pick up location, I have been unable to resolve this issue. charges of over $200 have accrued for a rental of less than 24 hours.Virgilio A.

I will not recommend Uhaul to anyone. In the last 3 days I have rrented 2 vhicles from Uhaul and each interaction was a disaster. Your system is slow and often doesn't work. The staff have to do manual overrides and that takes extra time. The rental I did on Sunday took almost and hour because of the number of "store customers coming in and the losuy system you have in place. Get your act and systems together Uhaul! I won't be coming back!Wendy M.

I am a regular customer of Uhaul. This experience was horrible. Firstly, my reservation was given away by Oshawa. My pick up experience was horrible. No inspection if truck by owner, truck was dirty with Dog hair and smell like crap. Ac did not work. Truck had rattling sound. Drop off location was not good. Overall experience was not good!!!! I had such a horrifying experience with this location. They do not understand the basic meaning of Customer Service. I reserved a U-Haul for my move a day in advance and when I came into the store, the employee I was dealing with, Emily Xin, was completely rude, disrespectful, conceding and had no sense of customer service. She kept addressing the fact that I was late even though I called her twice to tell her I was stuck in traffic. She changed the rate on me to $0.59/km when the day before I was quoted $0.49/km. She laughed and said it's only $0.10 as if she was the one paying for it. When I told her I was mislead by the wrong price, she didn't even listen to what I was saying. She had no sense of respect. She kept talking over me and didn't even bother to acknowledge what I was saying. She did not apologise for the misunderstanding. Instead of prioritising her customer's needs, she slammed her laptop shut and said she's cancelling my reservation (WITHOUT MY CONSENT) then blamed the system for everything - saying that she can't do anything to help us and if we don't want it, we should just leave. Then I saw a hand written sign on the window saying "SPECIAL!!! Weekday prices for U-HAUL $0.49 and weekend prices are $0.59" When I brought that to her attention she claimed she didn't do it and that it was from the U-Haul company??? Only a store manager/employee would write a hand written sign on their window for something they want to advertise. A large company such as U-Haul would have more of a professional way of advertising a special like that to their customers. Something that was supposed to take 5 minutes turned into an hour with absolutely no professionalism and respect. I don't understand how this store gets any business with the way they choose to treat their customers. It is absolutely ridiculous and I would never recommend this place to anyone.Sahar M.

You guys (UHaul) are great! I usually rent from a different location but they are closed on Sundays. This location was a bit further out so I likely wouldn't return. Our usual location is the Petro Canada station at 701 Krosno Blvd, Pickering, ON L1W 1G4 and I want to give a shout out to them because, like UHaul itself, they go above and beyond!Daphne F.
