Unhelpful, dismissive and uncommunicative chain-smoking staff who double-parked my rental van on the sidewalk so tight against the building and other cars that I couldn't inspect the whole vehicle prior to pick-up. Didn't include furniture pads either. Worst uhaul experience I've had in 5 years as a customer.Timothy L.

Probably let customer know before hand that if some derelict writes graffiti on your rental you will be charged an exorbitant fee. Even though Uhaul doesn't even have a listing for such a thing under its list of damages. So I'm still not sure how Uhaul arrived at that price.Daryl M.

He provided excellent customer service even when I was having an issue with the online customer service . I will definitely be renting from this location again if I need a U-HAUL in Brooklyn It was an ease when I returned the vehicle as well.Orgen B.
Do Not pass on liability of a previous driver's negligence/damage to another customer. Never had an issue with Uhaul until using this location. Currently fending of a fraudulent $250 damage charge. Upon picking up vehicle there were remnants of the broken tailight in the poorly maintained cargo area. I am now fighting the charge for said broken item- extremely disappointing.RICHARD A P.

Stop extra all those extra charges. A $20 rental end up being a $125 dollar bill. That is outrageous. I really doubt I will use your company again. I did not go out of town or a different borough. Can you say highway robbery.justina L.
The location and the equipment were all alright. However, there was a technical difficulty, was waiting at the location for 1.5 hrs, and delayed my entire moving schedule. I wasn't able to access the pickup option on uhal app and safari browser. I had to chat with 3 different customer agents and the phone wait time is really long. I was supposed to pick up the truck at 10:30 am, wasn't able to pick up the truck till 12 pm. It was a terrible experience. The movers had to charge me for overtime. I hope, uhal can fix technical iusses for truck pick up.WESLEY S.
They should help people that's not to good with signing in on line such as myself. I had for 12noon so I can make it to my destination by 2pm. I got the van at 1pm because the owner would not help me. I had to get a friend to come help me. That whole process was a big headache. To much you have to go through. Never again would I rent from uhaul on my phone.KEVIN E.
The first time i ser up this rental the location was closed and I had to wait an hour on the phone to get in touch with somebody , and when I finally got through the agent knew how frustrated I was and just kept laughing the entire time while trying to help me . When she finally got a new U-Haul rental for me I had to travel to a different site and instead of paying what my estimated total was I ended up paying almost double. The site clearly states that if you can't pick up tour rental you will receive a 50 dollar reimbursement. I was not given that option she just decided to move my reservation over.Gina A.
Just make sure they keep the van clean when I pick it up it was nasty. It had empty water in there some sticky stuff in the cup holder but every thing els was good.jinet A.

Well it started off rough because your app wouldn't let me do my "self pick up" because the dispatcher forgot to assign my vehicle so I had to go inside. The person inside is an auto mechanic who was having a really bad day. He told me to call you. Your company put me on hold for 20 min and finally told the mechanic that he had to do the paperwork which made him even more angry and he began cursing and saying " Now I have to stop my job to do this." So it was not the best experience trying to pick up my vehicle. So my advice, if someone wants to "self pick up" make sure the vehicle is properly assigned beforehand. But after I got the vehicle everything went smoothlyMonquez P.

U-haul did a very poor job in terms of informing me what to expect when I picked up my vehicle. I was not aware that I was doing a self-pickup rental. U-haul did not tell me that the business I chose would be closed on the day of my move, so when I showed up at Lucky Trade Motors, I had to do some detective work in order to figure out how to get access to the keys. This caused a delay and cut into the limited hours of my rental. This should not happen. U-haul had my email address and my phone number; it would have been easy to send me a list of instructions the day before on what to expect and what to do when I showed up at the pick-up location. Additionally, U-haul did not provide directions on how to complete the return. Again, this caused confusion because I did not know if U-haul would charge me extra because I had no idea how to properly execute the return. The vehicle was in great shape and the rental was well-priced, but please communicate with your customers more to minimize confusion. Thank you.Alexis J B.
I reserved the truck from 9am I arrived at 8:45 location was closed went to the store came back the location was opened but the person handling haul business was not there he did not show up till 9:15am I waited another 15 minutes to get check out in between conversations.... reallyPercy C.
