I was over charged per mile by 20 cent sounds like a little but that adds up this is compared to the website and the locations information. There were two truck uhauls available and one (the one we needed was broken) so we had to get the 26ft one. Surprise double the price. The uhaul was in terrible shape including the interior arm rest which just had old dried soda spilled on it. We rented around 3pm and was told we had it until 6:30am but I received a text saying it had to be back by 9pm. The first guy we spoke to was very rude and the second one was clueless. 0/10 do not recommend.Mikaela W.
I was confirmed and received email that equipment was paid for and attendant came outside to complain about how we were exiting premises and when I was 20minutes out he called my cellphone to tell me I have to come back because payment was not processed so I attempted to escalate with uhaul directly and never recieved a call from regional executive. I'm still pursuing escalation and expect this to be reviewed. I have Threatening messages from tenant telling me they will call the police on me if I don't go back when I had called uhaul to find alternatives to accept my payment over the phone. Very horrible experience, I've never been treated so bad.Luis P.

We wish the rental and paperwork had been ready for our scheduled pickup. It seemed as though the staff member had not been trained to handle uhaul customers. The staff was nice but was not equipped to handle our rental. Location did not have the rental truck ready or the dolly and blankets available as reserved/confirmed. Did not go over rental agreement. We received an email receipt after we had left which did not include the insurance coverage that we initially signed up for and we specifically asked staff about the coverage and he insisted that we were good to go. Per customer service, our reservation noted customer declined coverage when in fact we went back inside and specifically asked for the gentleman to confirm that our coverage was applied after receiving a text about safe move.Courtland B.

This was a back up location as the original location was closing within 10 mins of our drop-off and would NOT help us. This rental experience was horrific and I will NOT recommend U-Haul to anyone. I get people are busy but 3 weeks prior we rented this, get it together U-HaulMaureen M.

Midgard self storage was my original drop off location. When I got there no one was there, called the number it said to call and no one answered. There was another vehicle there trying to drop off also. I would not recommend this place ever.Brent H.

Overall I was a happy customer, however the only thing I thought was weird that you guys didn't supply a dollie. So moving big items was a challenge. Maybe you guys should consider supplying dollies for the trucks.melissa N.
We had ordered blankets but they are not available at this location - please update your website and database to reflect this. Trailer driver side turn indicator/brake indicator was not working. I rented a 6x12 enclosed trailer to haul my daughters things to Statesboro. The wonderful couple in Lake City were so pleasant and helpful. The gentleman used a heavy jack to attach the trailer to my truck. Then checked to make sure everything was safe. But when I went to the drop off they had no equipment to take the trailer off my truck but wanted me to manually lift the trailer of my truck. First of all I just had shoulder surgery 3 weeks ago and I'm nearly 50 years old. If it weren't for a very nice gentleman to run back to his house for a jack they were going to make me wait till 5 pm and I had got there at 9:30 am. For trailers of such excess weight there should be some sort of jack put in the trailer or the drop off station should have one on it's station. There was no way that trailer could be lifted manually.Bobbi M.

As far as dealing with the people I had a great experience they were very kind and helpful. As far as the rented U-Haul it was clean, however it smelled awful inside so much so I had to buy an air freshener so my husband and I could ride in it, also the break light came on soon after leaving then place and the only way to stop was to press them completely To the floor and when you used the breaks you could hear metal on metal. We did discuss this with the associate when dropping it off/turning it in. We could not return it to exchange for another one bc we were on a time restraint and had to continue our trip. My husbands truck broke down as we were on our way to move our daughter into her college dorm and had to be there during our allotted time. So we were desperate and had to have a vehicle. Again the providers were very helpful and kind but the vehicle was not so much!Torie P.

Luck Food Mart employee doubling as the UHaul guy. He did not know how to correctly attach the safety chains. He failed to pass the chain thru the loop - unfortunately, he just hung the chain on the loop where it could easily bounce off. I redid it correctly to ensure the chains would not drag. He left so much slack, the chains were very close to dragging on the ground.David L.

I tried the mobile app option and it was terrible experience. First it took one hour going back and forward with customer service to get the truck since the app wasn't working correctly . On top of that the mobile app had the incorrect miles on the odometer which I had to call customer service again to let them know about. At this point I was transferred between 3 different associates and finally the last one said they corrected this for me. Few hours later I went to drop off the the truck and received an extra $200 charge for the miles discrepancy that I was told it was corrected. Spoke with their customer service Department and they told me that the issue was noted but not filled in as report and this why I got the extra charge but now supposedly and hopefully will be resolved in the next 72 hours. This has been the most disappointing experience I have ever had with uhaul.Milen N.
