Overall I was a happy customer, however the only thing I thought was weird that you guys didn't supply a dollie. So moving big items was a challenge. Maybe you guys should consider supplying dollies for the trucks.

We had ordered blankets but they are not available at this location - please update your website and database to reflect this. Trailer driver side turn indicator/brake indicator was not working. Trailer had NOT been swept out. But the store employees were great, very helpful and very friendly.

I rented a 6x12 enclosed trailer to haul my daughters things to Statesboro. The wonderful couple in Lake City were so pleasant and helpful. The gentleman used a heavy jack to attach the trailer to my truck. Then checked to make sure everything was safe. But when I went to the drop off they had no equipment to take the trailer off my truck but wanted me to manually lift the trailer of my truck. First of all I just had shoulder surgery 3 weeks ago and I'm nearly 50 years old. If it weren't for a very nice gentleman to run back to his house for a jack they were going to make me wait till 5 pm and I had got there at 9:30 am. For trailers of such excess weight there should be some sort of jack put in the trailer or the drop off station should have one on it's station. There was no way that trailer could be lifted manually.

As far as dealing with the people I had a great experience they were very kind and helpful. As far as the rented U-Haul it was clean, however it smelled awful inside so much so I had to buy an air freshener so my husband and I could ride in it, also the break light came on soon after leaving then place and the only way to stop was to press them completely To the floor and when you used the breaks you could hear metal on metal. We did discuss this with the associate when dropping it off/turning it in. We could not return it to exchange for another one bc we were on a time restraint and had to continue our trip. My husbands truck broke down as we were on our way to move our daughter into her college dorm and had to be there during our allotted time. So we were desperate and had to have a vehicle. Again the providers were very helpful and kind but the vehicle was not so much!

At my return the person came out and greeted me, I did not call prior to my return and he handled everything, even noticed immediately that they listed the WRONG vehicle number, he handled everything and was extremely helpful, this location was WONDERFUL.

Luck Food Mart employee doubling as the UHaul guy. He did not know how to correctly attach the safety chains. He failed to pass the chain thru the loop - unfortunately, he just hung the chain on the loop where it could easily bounce off. I redid it correctly to ensure the chains would not drag. He left so much slack, the chains were very close to dragging on the ground.

Such a great U-Haul location. The staff was friendly, extremely helpful and well-prepared for my arrival. We will have to rent a trailer several more times this year in the Statesboro area and will use this location every time!!!

I tried the mobile app option and it was terrible experience. First it took one hour going back and forward with customer service to get the truck since the app wasn't working correctly . On top of that the mobile app had the incorrect miles on the odometer which I had to call customer service again to let them know about. At this point I was transferred between 3 different associates and finally the last one said they corrected this for me. Few hours later I went to drop off the the truck and received an extra $200 charge for the miles discrepancy that I was told it was corrected. Spoke with their customer service Department and they told me that the issue was noted but not filled in as report and this why I got the extra charge but now supposedly and hopefully will be resolved in the next 72 hours. This has been the most disappointing experience I have ever had with uhaul.

The worker at this site did not even know how to process the rental. She put us in touch with the regional manager who basically had to do her job for her. We did not want to use this location due to poor ratings but it was the only one that had the size we needed.

The u haul rep told me to pick out the truck I wanted and to bring him the number so I picked out a truck then he told me the battery was dead, picked out another truck and he said it was already rented out, picked out another truck went outside got my stuff in it wrong key! Then the keyfit the worst truck on the lot which was in very bad shape. The Representatives response was it will get it move

The clerk was helpful but I was charged and extra day because I was15 minutes "late' - was really not late at all since I rented the truck at 1:00pm Central Time and Turned it in at 1:15 Eastern time. Clerk said I needed to call Uhaul but I won't bother since I'm sure I'd just get the run-around from them. The entire experience was bullshit and I will NOT be doing business with Uhaul again.

I reserved a 6x12 trailer and a dozen furniture pads, neither of which Lucky Food Mart had upon my arrival. But the reservation keeps the trailer here, that's why you have the reservation! Seems like we know how to take the reservation, just not “ Hold” the reservation!

This was my worst experience with uhaul and I was treated horribly by Brenda a customer service rep. Monica tried to help me. I had to go out the way for a uhaul then nothing was right so I wasted a few hours and never finish moving and nothing was right with the reservation. I was suppose to be reimbursed by the manager and have not seen it yet.

When checking out the equipment I was asked how many miles I would need I told the cashier probably 60 and he said 30 would cover it. It was 12miles just to get from the rental center back to the house I was moving from. I am very disappointed that the cashier refused to use the mileage I had said.

Only move closer. It is quite a drive for those in Statesboro, compared to the other locations.

This location was fine but it is not where I had scheduled mobile pickup which wouldn't work when I got there. Drove 5 hours to help my daughter move and it took an extra hour to get the reservation right and was an extra 20 minutes out of the way and then had to turn around and drive back home 5 hours.

We couldn't pick up the original truck because the GPS said we weren't at the right place even though we were standing in front of the building. The replacement truck we picked up had mud residue in the back so we had to use cardboard to cover it so it wouldnt smear on stuff. The gas for the truck was pretty much on E and we werent given any new information for the truck so we assumed we still had the 81 mile limit only to find out it was actually 65 after the fact and charged for the extra mileage.
