have vans available for one way rentals. Rates for adding tow car were very high.

Better customer service the attendant call 24hrs before the truck was due back and was rude when I got a chance to speak to let him know his error instead of apologizing he blame it on his long day and bad week. Then we the next week we rented a smaller trailer and was 20 min late and he charged full day no courtesy.

Office opened 30 minutes late. Called the day before, was told to be there at 8: 00am, personnel did not get there to open until 8:30. Quote was double what was told on the phone the day before.

When truck was dropped off, personal was not on site. Employee had to call the U-haul personal on the phone, who was in New Hanover Co. which is 24miles from Burgaw NC. I think if you text a customer and informed them to drop off a truck during normal business hours they should have personal on site.

The drop off did not satisfied with the truck. They informed me it was old and the tires on the back had not been changed, and could have blown. The personal stated that she would not put the truck on the road due to it not being inspected and it looked as if the oil had leaked prior to our using it.

There was not a truck available in Wallace NC as I ordered it there. I get a text from 2 different locations asking for confirmation, neither in the location I needed it. I had to end up calling twice to resolve the issue but the customer service reps were great. Then the truck I got only had 3/8 of a tank of gas. I had to put gas in it which was not a problem except no one told me how efficient the truck was and I ended up putting almost $70 worth of gas in it and left it almost full with the drop off U-Haul representative. That made me a little angry because I wasted money on giving gas to the next person. I was flooded out of my home and I'm trying to save as much money as I can and so that $70 in gas was a total loss for me! I do appreciate the extra mileage that was given to me but did not end up needing it. I have always used U-Haul in the past when I have moved and will probably continue to use Uhaul in the future when I move.

I think it was too expensive to rent for a local move.I think if I move again I will use Budget.They won't charge me so much per mile.I went less than 20 miles total.102.00 for a weekend is a little too much money.the dolly I had wouldn't roll and I didn't use it anyway.
