1 star is not based off location itself, but the fact that I had to drive an hour to go to this location after already being confirmed a week ahead of time for a location only 15 minutes away. The compensation for this was half assed at best. All they offered was 50 extra miles added to my limit. Had to call again to get money taken off. Will most likely go with Penske or a more reliable company. The lady who helped me on the phone and the one who helped me get the keys were both absolutely wonderful though. Had to drive an hour from my location, Cedar rapids, ia to even get a truck. Wanted 10', had to settle with 17'. My mistake for not taking pictures of fuel gauge before I picked it up and when I dropped it off so got charged an extra 55$ for gas even though I put in the same amount it had. Highly doubt I will rent through this company again, was definitely disappointed in this rental this time.Heather M.

I would instruct your locations to please have there computers on at the time of the business opening time. We arrived to pick up our rental around 9 am. The business was open at 8 am. when we got there we had to wait 20 minutes plus while their computer did a update, then were asked the same questions that we filled out with we booked the rental, I received a call from district office 2 days after due date, wondering why the item hadn't been turned in on the time it was supposed to be. I believe this place was lacking the importance of knowledge on how important it is to finalize a customers return. I shouldn't have received a call about not turning in the item I barrowed, considering I had officially returned it like the agreement had asked..Mary T.

Uhaul is a low priority to this business. The people are friendly enough, but I had to search thru an empty truck shop then a gravel lot to find someone. Also worth noting, your website looked hard for them to use and they had to go thru the whole process twice.Bill R.

The hitch would not stay tight and had to be re-tighten after 100 miles. I had to install a brand new 2 inch ball, which was damaged by the trailer because it would not tighten properly. After knob would not turn no more, the hitch was still loose and hammered the whole trip. The lever catch would not stay tight. Highly recommend a mileage counter added and a preventive maintenance schedule be made.Mike L.

The process of picking up is absolutely ridiculous and takes wayyyy wayyy too long. I would recommend informing customers that they will need two other peoples phone numbers and that they will be getting called, it would work better and faster.Caitlyn B.

We rented a trailer, on our way to return the unit the hitch came loose and almost caused a major accident on a busy highway. The way the hitch locked on was faulty and caused damage to our vehicle as well as to the wire harness on the trailer. The company we rented from gave my husband an 800 number to call and was put on hold for over 15 minutes and still never got through.Cheryl D.
Overall the truck was ok when picked up. The back had some sand in it but not too bad. We did shop vac it out before loading furniture. There was some lunch trash left in the cab.Shawn K.

They met me there on a Friday night after 5 PM. They saved the day by having a new truck on hand so I was ready on Saturday morning for my movers. When they didn't know how to do the paperwork so I wouldn't be charged more money for the second truck, they picked up the phone and found out.
