I brought it back early with 3/4 tank of gas, not the 1/4 I started with. And charged me extra $20. Ridiculous!!!!

Brooke FrittsEverything went well except the verification process at the online pick up delayed my departure. I had already checked in the night before and expected a faster pick up. Also, the dolly and blanket in the back got in the way as I had full loads. I had my own dolly and blankets but one of my heavy items bumper the dolly and broke the tag. I did not use the dolly or the blanket and do not want to be charged extra. I took a picture of my dolly along side your dolly eject was never unbolted from the floor.

judd brownThere are signs that say “swept clean”. There have been multiple occasion in which it was swept clean and the guy says he needs to wash and squeegee so he charged the cleaning fee. If the trucks need to be more than “swept clean” then I think it should be posted. Plus stating “I’m not here to argue” with a customer doesn’t seem very professional.
francisco liceaThe guy working the counter was not very nice. When I returned the van, he told me where to park. Then he told me that I didn’t put enough gas in it. I told him that I did and he wanted to charge me for it. Well, he had me park on a hill, so of course it was going to be short. Yeah I can go get gas and come back. He also charged me for insurance I did not want. He offered me two choices. I specifically told him I wasn’t going very far I did not need insurance. But I asked him about it and he said that’s what I chose. This was not true. Haven’t had any issues with U-Haul until today.

I used the app to do what it asked me to do and then the website stopped or had an error. I took a screenshot of it just in case this happened. Please do so and if you need to contact me do so also!

Scott karnsThis was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever experienced. I had a guaranteed reservation for a 15 foot truck but on arrival I was informed that didn’t have it and flatly told I should try another uhaul location. Not one apology and no consideration to the fact I had hired movers who were already waiting at my house. Ultimately they agreed to rent me a 10ft truck that was in horrible condition for a $10 savings but rather than being able to accomplish my move in 2 hours with the movers it took 2 trips and 5 hours increasing my overall cost by $600 between the cost of the movers and the extra mileage that uhaul charged me. Uhaul stated that they would credit me $50 for my inconvenience but of course they never did. Do not do business with Uhaul or the San Juan Capistrano location. Horrible!
Robert MitschWe rented a 26' truck for 5 days this past week. It was a big disappointment that every time we parked it the truck would die. We ended up having to jump it 4 times. Unacceptable and we did not get a refund or credit.

Tad BelsheCheck the condition of the (trailer) before having me drive 14 miles one way to pick it up. As a result of the damage to the trailer i had reserved, i had to decide whether to rent a truck instead, due to availability, distance and wasted time looking for another trailer at short notice. This decision cost considerably more, but the equipment (truck) was in excellent condition and the personnel were very kind snd helpful. No discount was offered for my inconvenience or additional costs i had to incur.

Scott KarnsI was disappointed, when I rented a PU Truck for 19.95 a day. When I returned to pay the bill was over double what it cost to rent for day. I only drove 10 miles n u charged me min 2 gallons of gas. The bump up in $ price for gas, not only did u over charge per gsllon, but 2 gallons to fill up? Crazy. Company I rented from said that's the way the computer is set. So U haul is not playing fair n trying to rip customers off. So because of that will not be renting from U haul anymore.
