Trailer was very old and very, very used...........scraped, dented, no paint -- u'd think Uhaul would take more pride in their units for the money we paid... We checked in online, but were still required by dealer to check in again................ I will probably have to use Uhaul again -- but will be asking about the age of a unit before renting.Darrell R.

Older man (suppose to be the owner of the business) was very rude, unprofessional and combative - at pickup he wanted us to buy a different ball ($40 - as he was trying to make a sale) - ours was fine. Trailer was upfront ready for pickup, upon return he demanded the trailer be backed into a spot, then changed his mind and wanted it elsewhere. Then changed his mind again. My daughter told him it was his responsibility to park it "wherever", we were to drop it off. He told my son in law that he should tell her to "shut up" - He was informed that was very inappropriate behavior and unprofessional. I will NEVER rent another piece of UHaul equipment from this business. He owes everyone an apology.RHONDA P.

Check rear signal and brake lights before leaving the premises, rather than, just on the return. It would give the customer, a sense of relief, ultimately in their oversight or handling of the vehicle, if the signal or brake lights did not work properly when returning the vehicle. The owners and staff were kind and helpful! They were open on the day before a holiday and were not in a hurry to provide service like many other businesses have been on a Friday before a holiday. We had a bit of an issue, the vehicle rented to us had a gas leak. They had to come pick it up from the gas station as we were trying to return it with 1/4 tank gas as requested. Gas just flooded the cement under the truck as we tried to pump it. Needed police escort because we felt threatened by the owner. Once around police, he was very kind. I will never ever ever ever let anyone I know go to this uhaul ever again.ELIZABETH D.

They had no control over the mishandling by the Alabama u haul and they called the 800 number and we were not helped with the issue. The woman on the phone said well just do the return and see what it says!! Really. You all gave me a contract saying it cost a certain amount them when it was delivered to Early Texas (which was confirmed with a customer service call right after renting in Alabama) your folks had no way of helping with the situation? returning outside business hours was cumberson and difficult. too many steps and needs to be more user friendly, expecially for senior citizens like myself who are not as technology knowledgeable as those who are younger. I had looked at the prices online the night before and was quoted $77, but did not rent online at that time because my son and nephew were going to be picking up the dolly the next day and I didn't know if they would be able to pick it up if it was rented in my name and with my debit card. When they got there, the staff member informed them that the total would be about $180.00. When I asked why the huge price difference, the staff member could not explain. I asked him the base price without taxes and insurance and he said he did not know. He said not to book it online because it would take a lot longer, but while I was on the phone, I booked it online and it was ready almost immediately. The dolly worked just fine, I just felt that the staff member who worked with us was being shady, and my son and nephew said they got the same feeling.Kristi S.

The 2 movers went above & beyond helping my husband load our heavy furniture. The drop off location little creek auto sales was beyond rude and unprofessional we have had 4 rentals this year and renturning this one was horrible it is 1/7 and I am still waiting on a deposit refund from 12/26 even after having spoke with the regional manger when we dropped off the trailer and yelled at that we would not get our cash deposit back they didn't do that there!!!
