Charged 2 separate transactions can’t get in contact with anyone to rectify this issue. Called the actual place I got the U-Haul from they said call U-Haul exactly. I did and was told to call the place I rented the U-Haul from this is sickening

The mobile pick up was awful sat there for an 1.5 trying to check in. After I called U-Haul they hung up on me once. The second time I called they were actually helpful.

James MThis lady seem not to care at all. I did not know the procedures. Therefore I gave her my ticket. She said I do not need that. What is your name and I said do I receive a receipt no we do not issue receipts at all. I felt very uncomfortable about leaving the u haul because one of her attitude two I didn’t know that was the policy we’re dropping off this truck that’s apparently valuable that I’m responsible for and just leaving it behind without anything proving that I did.
Gwendolyn LExtremely expensive! Also, the truck is so loud that if someone were to honk at you, you would not hear them. On top of that, some of the lever gages don’t even work. Fo the amount of money that you all charge, the truck should be equipped with sensors and a GPS system. Never renting u-haul again.

Thomas COriginally we were sent to sunny vale for drop off and it was closed. So we had an extra hour of driving trying to find a drop off location. So that part really sucked

Gwendolyn LThe Lions Den Self Storage had just implemented a brand new policy of only being open on the 1st Saturday of the month. This went into effect on 2/11/2022, the day before we went to pick up the truck. I called the number on the notice and the woman did not give me any instructions on how to acquire the truck. Her only comments were to call U-Haul. She did not want to give me the 'time of day'. Our reservation had been originally with T Bar T Farm Supply, but they did not have the truck we needed, therefore, the reservation was changed to Lions Den Self Storage. When we did not receive instructions on how to accees the trunk so we went to T Bar T Farm Supply and they were great! They explained the arrangement and we acquired the code needed. After all we went through all this, I finally received an email with some instructions. I do not know whether Lions Den Self Storage or U-Haul was at fault here, but there should have been better communications. This was our first experience with a '24-hour' access arragement, otherwise, maybe we would have expected some of this. Nevertheless, we should have been notified of the '24-hour' arrangement before the pick-up date.

ANDREW DThe inside if the truck smelled strongly like dog. I didn't realize it until after I got home because I didn't inspect inside the truck before we left, only the cab and the outside of the truck. Also, the inside of the truck had some sort of splatters on the walls, that I'm assuming we're dog product. But at the pick up location the front desk lady was si nice and helpful so overall the whole experience was good.
AMY EThe only thing about this facility that I didn’t like was the location of the key pads. I know it sounds crazy but to enter it’s to the left of the gate so you have to wait for the gate to almost completely open before you go in. I know that’s what you’re suppose to do but who does that. For the key pad to exit, it’s almost impossible to access unless you’re in a tiny vehicle. You have to get out of your car to get to it. No deal breaker by any means.

Callahan S | Overall ExperienceI rented the truck with a special deal offered over the UHaul on-line reservation. By returning the truck to Kaufman I saved $55.00 plus got an extra day. My return date was clearly stated on the rental agreement as 11/3/2020 2:00 PM. I returned the truck on 11/3/2020 at 12:37 PM. However when I received my invoice via email I was charged $40.00 for an extra day. I called the return location and was told they would correct the mistake. i never received a new invoice and called again a few days later. Their response to me was "the system" would not accept the change. It has been a month now and i have yet to receive a refund for the overcharge. I have turned it over to my credit card company as a disputed charge. Maybe they can get U-Haul's attention.

Judith K | Overall ExperienceWhen I clicked on the link sent to me via text, the GPS took me to the UHAUL place across the highway. It wasnt until I opened the reservation that it showed that I needed to be at the Lion's Den. This particular location did not have any open spots to park the trailer. My sister was with me and she happens to have a storage unit there and we were able to leave it behind the gate. Had she not been with me I would have had to leave it in the middle of the drive. Just a suggestion......add the name of the drop off location to the text messages with the address.
