My experience was this; 1)reserved to dolly on line thru Line X in Placerville calif. 2) received confirmation of reservation 3)received "UPDATED" notice to pick up tow dolly at uhaul site in diamond springs, calif. much further away from my location. 4) arrived at Diamond Springs uhaul site on time at 10am. 5)office person checked for my reservation and tells me I am supposed to pick up tow dolly at Line X in Placerville. So I had to drive all the way back to Placerville site to pickup the tow dolly 6) this was very irritating as I was on a tight schedule 7) can you explain WHY this happened? 8) employees at Line X were very nice and took care of getting my equipment connected and ready for me . I have NO complaints about the service or the service people. 9)so why was I sent to the wrong location like that????Ralph L.

T'was a wonderful experience. The pickup & dropoff were both quick and simple. Very streamlined process. Liz is absolutely fantastic! She's incredibly friendly and very helpful! The van was in great shape and a pleasure to drive. It was very comfortable and got shockingly good gas mileage! Nearly as good as my personal vehicle, a Chevy Sonic! I had no issue with people at the pickup site. My issue is with Uhaul corporate. When I reserved the trailer it said it was available at the folsom location. There was another closer location, but someone would call me. I assumed that meant that trailer wasn't available there. The day before pickup I receive a text saying the pickup site had changed. It was 20 miles out of my way. Also, the pickup time changed from 8am to 10am. I had an 8 hour drive ahead of me. Getting the trailer 2 hours later was a huge inconvenience, Not sure I will use Uhaul again.Kenneth S.

The truck was not clean when I picked it up. The inside of the cab was dirty, and there were mulch remnants in the truck bed. And then you had the nerve to charge me a cleaning fee. Secondly, you shouldn't advertise that this particular truck rents for $19.95 per day, and then charge over three times that amount as the one day rental fee. In general, I was not happy with my rental experience here, and will use someone else next time I need a rental.DAVID L.

Well the guy at the store was awesome ! He was nice and friendly! But the people on the 800 number were dog shit ... they lie hang up on me and cancel my truck ... I mean the experience was dog shit and I escalated to have a manager call me and y'all sent an email but no one ever got back to me because y'all really don't give a fuck ! It's obvious that customer service is your LEAST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF YOUR BUSINESS! Older truck, somewhat run down. Rubber trim around windshield was coming off. Bad cigarette odor, had to keep the windows rolled partially down, despite the hot weather. I paid for 3 dozen blankets, but there were only 19 available. Was still charged for 3 dozen. I should get a refund!!!!! Also, had difficulty with early check in. Reservation was not set up for uhaul share. Delayed getting the truck. On returning the truck, the man checking me/truck out was quite friendly and helpful.GARY B.

I returned the equipment 2.3 hours late and was charged an extra day for the late return, I have rented from Uhaul many times over the years and have NEVER been charged for being late. Maybe it was the lack of available trailers that prompted the RUDE and uncompromising treatment by the staff. She did not even entertain WHY I was late, didn't bother to ask as it seemed more about teaching me a financial lesson on how to be on time. The line at the dump was long, the material being dumped required PPE gear, and I washed the trailer before returning it. I wrote this locations first YELP review and gave them a 1 star for their rude and unacceptable behavior which left me very upset and questioning whether I will continue to use Uhaul or choose a different provider such as Home Depot. The Line X dealer was very helpful, prompt and courteous. Unfortunately, Line X was our alternate pickup location. The primary location, Roseville, CA, did not have our trailer on site at the appointed pick up time, which was reserved 6 weeks in advance. Further, Roseville had us wait in line, complete all paperwork, pay the charges and only then did they determine they did not have our trailer on site. This wasted hours of our time and forced us to travel an hour to Line X to get a trailer. Dealers should check their inventory every morning against reservations and call customers to let them know if they don't have the equipment ready to go. Roseville did work to find us a trailer at Line X.Jacquelyn B.
