I rented a 26ft box truck with a ramp. The ramp was extremely short and very dangerous due to the incline. You couldn’t roll anything down the ramp safely.

This office needs no improvement. The staff (Anna) is knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. The vehicle was new, clean and well maintained. It was a pleasure to work with them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or rent another vehicle from this vendor.

Corporate canceled my reservation because my drivers license was "expired"; eventhough, it doesn't expire for another 2 years. This added an hour to my pick up time re-registering for my truck.

Great place and great service. I have rented several times here before. They get very busy on Saturday mornings. Best to pickup at noon or so on Saturdays, if you can.

Well, the pickup was great, there was a missing light on the front, but no biggie. When the truck started it sounded like something was grinding but seemed to run fine after starting. My main problem was after the return. I had called customer service on Sunday and let them know I returned the truck but couldn't get the gas cap off at the gas station. It was on there so tight it wouldn't move. Today when I got the bill I was charged for not filling the tank, which I would pay the going rate for gas but not $5, and the lady that called me back said, "I am returning your call but if you have problems you need to call the 800#, I told her I did yesterday and she said she would listen to my problem but I would have to call the 800# to get it resolved" so really she was wasting my time and rude at that! Now I call the 800# and the hold time is 15+ minutes, this is a total waste of time and if I do not get this resolved by tomorrow will be disputing this with the cc company.

This site is great but beware... We had a mishap on a hill with the still empty truck. The truck bottomed out and got seriously stuck. We had taken out the best insurance policy for the time we had the truck. Upon calling U-Haul for help we were informed that this isn't covered by the insurance and any damage that was caused also wouldn't be covered! It cost us $200 to have it moved. Luckily there was no damage!

The truck had a lot of pre-existing damage. Too much to really list every scrape and dent. I was a little nervous about possibly being considered responsible for pre-existing damage but since I wasn't charged for any damage it all worked out in the end.

I don't blame the Line X place for this--it was an old truck--120,000+ miles on it. It stunk inside like someone had peed in there and it dried up before anything could be done of it. It really was fine overall. Nice people and very helpful where I picked it up!!!

Trailer was very noisey when being towed empty or loaded. Also the plates didnt articulate when turning and backing up down hill. The tires of my vehicle turned instead. Very scary.

You advertise FALSE costs. Last time I used Uhaul in Placerville, my bill was only $45 or so. This time it was almost doubled. $82. Ridiculous when I only drove 21 miles.
