this location charged me for 2 days of renatl when I only used 1 day froa bout 2.5 hrs. they charges for 145 miles fro a trip that had only 20 miles each way, keys we re not in the lock box we had to wait forveer to get teh keys and the owners is very rude and not willing to respect and lisen to customer issues.Andres L.

I was supposed to rent a dolly & some blankets BUT the location was not open and nobody would answer the phone. Someone ended up being there when it was time for me to return the truck which wasn't helpful at all. Totally unprofessional. I'll never use this location again.Crystal V.
The location is extremely convenient and the equipment was in great shape. I had issues checking in and returning the vehicle since the process is completely remote and was not user-friendly. Before arriving at the pick up location, I uploaded photos of my license and other necessary information. The reservation on my account (on both website and mobile app) did not give me the ability to begin the pick up. I called the help number and they sent a video to follow with instructions. The video instructions did not match what my account permitted. I called the help number back and they handled the check in process over the phone. I dont think this system is ready for complete remote operation just yet. Upon returning I was instructed to verify milage and gas on my online account and upload pictures to certify the information was accurate. The photos would not save in the account and the process would not allow me to move forward with out the pictures. I ended up going home to grab my sisters iPhone and did the same exact thing and was able to upload the photos. I dont know if this was an android issue or what, but my friend rented from this location previously and told me he experienced the same technological issues (he is also an android user).Kyle H.

Really very worse experience. The truck was not clean at all. Also the process of smart checking is not really smart. I need to call customer care multiple times for pickup the key and also during return the equipment and wait for long time for the representative.Krishnendu S.

I always use Uhaul when I move, but this last experience was extremely disappointing. I made my reservation weeks ago to pick up a 20' truck from the Elizabeth location. The day before my move out date, a Uhaul representative calls to change my pick up location to the one in Orange. Ok, no problem. And even though that was very inconvenient, I understood that my size truck was not available in Elizabeth and drove all the way to Orange to pick up my GUARANTEED RESERVATION. When I arrive at the Uhaul in Orange, the lady at the register pulls up my reservation and tells me that they have NO 20' truck available for me. Now I'm pissed! They didn't even have a 15' Truck, which is the smallest size I could go for a 2bdrm apartment. She then makes a phone call and tells me that I can pick up a 15' Truck from the Elizabeth location, so now I had to drive all the way back to Elizabeth to get a smaller truck. Scheduled for a 4:45 pick up, the person who works there called me 40 minutes prior to tell me he left early and I could go to another Uhaul or come there and use the app. I was already on my way there, so I went there and use the app. Which required me to stay on the phone with Uhaul for close to 30 minutes to get set up. I just now receieved my invoice and there are charges on there for items that were not given to me. Assumably because I had ordered them online when I made my reservation but not given because no one was physically working. So now I will have to deal with this head ache.. The truck had boxes in the back of the truck and even had bed frames from a past move, I had to remove these things to fit my stuff, all this money for this, never againrichard L.

There was no car key at the self serve location (wasted 30 mins waiting). I was then charged for 2 days but only had the car for less than 4 hrs (wasted another 20 mins on the phone).Arnaldo P.
The manager of the location called 2 hours before pick up to tell us that he is closing early and that we had to come immediately to pick up the truck. Once there he gave us the keys to the truck made us sign paperwork by the truck and left without giving us a chance for inspection. Turns out the truck was empty so we had to pay penalty for returning truck empty even though we have pictures of the empty gas tank that we got upon pick up.Andriy S.

My pick up and drop off locations were changed last minute. Linden employee wanted me to drive an extra 30 miles (and charge me more) to return the Uhaul in Center City Philadelphia even when we were telling him about closer locations that we could see in his computer. What is the point of making a reservation if the night before your locations are changed and you have to drive an extra hour to pick up the truck.Hector F.

I strongly believe that you clerk made a mistake on the tank level. I took the van back and load my equipment on June 6, and park the van on the parking lot of our office( secured area) . I found the fuel level was 1/2, not Full in the morning of June 7. I observed the MPG was 17.7 while I was driving. I totally drove 78 miles before I returned the van. I refueled 14.955 Gallons ( $31.99) to full the tank. I wanted to talk to you clerk but I did not see anybody there, I had to drop off the key. I believe that the fuel level was "half" and not" full" while I pick up the van. Please check your records.Dong S.

It was almost 3pm when I returned truck. Business was closed but had a large "open" sign at window. Left keys at drop-off. As a police officer, I fear the liability of leaving a truck parked in a lot during working hours with no one to receive and verify quality and quantity of returned vehicle and equipment, respectively.IVAN O.

There are a lot of hidden fees on my initial receipt the environmental fee was $1 I get my final receipt and it increased $2. And then tax the fee. They say it's.99/mi but it's 1.29. Not happyYVONNE T.

There was some confusion regarding our pickup time. I had scheduled online for 3 - but the email confirmation the day before specified 9:30. I called and spoke with someone who told me 2 would be ok. Then, the day of our rental, I got a call around noon stating that I was late, and that they could rent out our reserved truck. I explained that I had called, and the woman simply said "ok". Moving is stressful enough! That said, the guy at the shop was very attentive and pleasant.KAREN C.

When a customer asks to verify the mileage, gas and condition of the vehicle before signing off the u haul representative should be courteous and not mutter in disgust. That is just plain rude.Gabrielle P.

This is my first experience with u haul and maybe the last. I reserved the truck for two days and I went there to pick up around 3pm. When the contract was been written he did not explain about the mileage charges until he has finished writing the contract and he made it seem as if it was not so important.I did not get any milage what so ever free he should have explained so I can decide if am picking or not . Enterprise gave me a flat rate for two days which is a lot cheaper. He also charged me 25 dollars for cleaning! Cleaning what ! when all I carried were packs of soda. I feel I have been reaped off . Please next time explain properly your billing process so first timers like me know then I can decide if I want to go along with you or go else where. My total bill for two days was 221 dollars this is too much or am I suppose to rent a van and then park it without moving it to use it for the purpose it's rented for.OLUREMI A.
