Facility was over 5 miles from town in the middle of farm land with no service to connect to U-haul via phone drop off. The Gates to parking lot locked, Key drop box was available but no direction on where to leave U-Haul after hours. property owner arrived while we were there taking pictures of the U-Haul. he was was angry that we were there and harassed us. He was not even aware there was a key drop box on the fence. He offered no assistance would not open gate and insisted that we park across the street from the gate. The property owner made me feel very uncomfortable so we dropped the keys in the box and left.Kellie D.

The young man was very nice but I would make it clear to the person renting that a customer cannot return equipment to ANY u-haul as I was told. he said i can take it back to any drop off point, later I was told i could not and would be charged a fee. it took numerous phone calls, holding a long period and explaining several times to get to turn it in elsewhere. Also, this is not his fault, but I could not extend online. i had truck problems and could not return the specified day and was told I would be charged extra fee as well. then when i called customer service she said i would not be charged an extra fee, then i was charged $20 extra! get your information straight amongst your employeesSandra T.

I arrived to drop off a day early and arrived just as the location was closing, planning to do an after hours drop off. A young man met us outside, offered to take care of everything and was very friendly. It was the easiest drop off I've ever had!Mike F.

There was some small pieces of trash in the uhaul. The truck cab smelled so strongly of cigarettes. Maybe better quality control would be a good idea. I know it is not the locations fault specifically but I want to note that the pick up location of the truck changed twice. For reserving something almost a month in advance and being told they can't just drive a truck to my preferred location is just bad customer service. I had been told in person at the counter the truck would be at one location. When I checked in online I got a call saying that it would be elsewhere but they would see what they could do. Later that day I got a confirmation text about the location being in a different place again! Like my time wasn't valuable at all. I was really frustrated by that, they did credit the mileage difference but spending what I spent I really felt unappreciated as a customer. Moving cross country is stressful enough without having to hunt down my truck.KRISTINA H.
