The truck was not swept and no blankets for the furniture provided. The associate failed to go over the contract with me, failed to look over the truck with me, and did not accurately notate the amount of full. He handed me the keys and pointed out the window to the truck. Never even walked out with me to check the above mentioned steps. I filled the tank to the same amount I was given and then CT U-haul attempted to assess me $56 for a full fee. Due to limitless indicating that it had a full tank. Which had he gotten off his seat, would have seen. Overall extremely poor customer service.

I originally ordered online at a different location. I needed a pick up truck to transport a large freezer, which I also ordered an appliance dolly, being I was doing this alone. When the day of service arrived, I was transferred to Limitless, which at first was fine. I didn't have a preference, just needed the service. At check in, I was told I would be using a box truck. Hopefully the freezer will fit vertically, I have to drive an hour to get it. But this change in my order plans were last minute and I didn't have time to go elsewhere. She also told me she wouldn't charge me because chances are there's no dolly in the truck, people tend to keep stealing them, and Limitless now has stopped replacing them. I get in the truck, it smells horribly like cigarette smoke, nauseating, the drivers side door doesn't close completely unless you slam the door with excessive force. I drive to exit 17 off i87 Northway and stopped to a Corporate Uhaul and asked if I could pay them for a dolly, being I'm along and the truck also doesn't have a ramp. They store gave me a dolly to use as long as I left it in the truck when I returned it to Limitless. I get the freezer, which I had to lay down because I have a small box truck vs the pick up truck I initially ordered. I also has to lift the dolly and freezer up into the truck because there wasn't a ramp on the truck. I was able to get the freezer home from there. When I returned to Limitless, I explained the situation and that there is a brand new dolly in the back of the truck. And due to the way this experience went for me, I wasn't going to replace the gas (¼ tank) that I used as trade for having to get my own dolly from another location and then not having a ramp. All of which I ordered from the beginning but never received. Which made my job much harder than it had to be. I told them that I was not accepting a charge of gas because of this. Turns out, it didn't matter and I was charged anyway. I didn't fight it, wasn't worth the energy, I'd just won't go back to Limitless. But, that's not who I originally ordered through anyway, so maybe I should try enterprise next time..

I was directed to the truck. I was not told to check it out, to fill out an online form before I left, or anything else. They did not have the truck ready for me and it had very little gas.

I chose contactless pickup, but the keys were not in the vehicle, so I had to go inside where nobody was wearing a mask. The vehicle was dusty, indicating that it had not been wiped down/sanitized. The passenger side windshield wiper didn't work.

Being forced to use the online ap made this experience a nightmare,And adding up all the time i was getting help for the app and taking countless pictures all in all about 4 Hours, While all the customer reps were very helpful problems with this ap information going in then disappearing,I hope i never have to do this again!

Last year when I rented a UHaul from here, they did not have the UHaul I had reserved, and inconvenienced me greatly. Unfortunately being in a small town, I don't have many options and had to give them ago again this weekend. I was disappointed to learn upon arrival of picking up the truck that they did not have the utility dolly I reserved with it and needed to help assist with moving my large appliances.

The vehicle was not clean when I picked it up. However, I had to settle for a cargo van, even though it was way to big for what I needed it for. The locations near Johnstown, NY need more pick-up trucks for rental.

Selected to pick up at 7 am but was told on day of pick up that could not get it till 9 setting my entire schedule off by two hours which meant I did not get home till after midnight and could not return the truck till the next day. Was then charged two days because i returned it at 9:45 the next day and the system thought I had had it since 7. Passenger side door would not open from outside. Interior of storage section had several puddles in it the next morning under my furniture.

Uhaul site wouldn't load my reservation. Clerk called and they couldn't help him either. He deleted my reservation after a half hour of trying and re entered it. But I ended up paying 10 dollars more than I was quoted. Plus I had to drive to a location 50 miles from home because the location 5 miles away didnt have a dolly. And the upgrade to transport was supposed to be free. I couldn't even return the transport at the location near my home so I had to spend 2 hrs on the road the next day to return it, not to mention the gas in my truck to make the 100 mile round trip again. Not at all happy.

It literally took me over an hour with the customer service rep (CSR) just to pick up my 5'x8' trailer. I was not the only customer having issues picking up equipment that day. They claim there was an error on UHaul's part and how they check equipment in and out of their "logs". In the CSR's defense, he did everything he could to resolve the issue and was trying, but nonetheless I was completely unsatisfied with this huge mistake between UHaul and their business. I was the first customer there as well. It's not like there was a line I was waiting in to get service. It literally just took them over 1 hour to resolve my issue, which again I want to emphasize that this is completely unacceptable. It should have been a matter of just walking into the office, paying with card, signing the paperwork, picking up my trailer, and leaving, but instead because of their failure to do property inventory correctly I suffered and had to waste my time as a customer for their mistakes. Thanks to this mistake, it added an additional hour onto my day of my 10 hour move out of state. I do not like leaving negative feedback, especially for small businesses, and as I said the CSR did do everything in his power to resolve the issue, but I do feel that these mistakes that have happened to me and at least one other customer there that day need to be addressed so I don't feel bad leaving negative feedback to highlight these problems.

Uhaul did not give me the reserved 5x8 trailer, instead at a different location, I was rented a 4x8 last second that did not hold my equipment I needed it for. On top of uhaul still has not dropped a charge they gave me on a $200 trailer hitch I ordered over the phone and then could not receive it from them since the part is no longer manufactured, but they still insist on trying to take my money after employees told me sorry and I don't need to do anything to cancel that order. Thanks guys.

We booked trailer for Friday got a call on Thursday morning telling us they don't have a trailer at that location had to pick up trailer 30 miles away had to call several times to get some moving pads apparently they don't carry them In Amsterdam?? Finally I got them but got only 10 and I paid for a dozen

This location was given to me because of a U-Haul screw up. I was supposed to have an available truck at 7:30 am only to find the location didn't open till 9:30 am and that wasn't the location I picked. It was switched on me. I accepted it because it was still near the place where I had to pickup my Moms furniture. U-Haul you have made a previously happy customer very unhappy with this interaction. The Albany representative outright bold faced lied to me. She told me that she spoke to the gentleman from Limitless Automotive and even though it was not 9am yet he was in the building working on a car and that I should go right over and knock on the door and he will let me in. She totally made that up! He was not in the building and did not show up until 9:15 another employee opened the place at 9:10. You have lost a good paying customer with these outrageous lies and poor service.

At this location the guy never gets back to you. After we left the location w/dolly we werent even a half mile down the road and the ramp feel out onto the road. We called the uhaul place where we just left he couldn't help us said we had to call road side we waited a nice gentleman came but did not have a part for the dolly but riged it enough to use it... we had driven 5hrs as was at didnt need the inconvenience. The owner of the uhaul should not be in business with his i don't care attitude....i believe we should have been compensated for our troubles....

Owner of this location had website issues trying to get on UHaul system and getting me a receipt. He said that happens several times a day. Either his system or UHaul's system should be upgraded for a better customer experience.

Location was closed at promised time. UHaul said I would receive a $50 credit, which I have not received. Location overcharged me and I asked for a $15 refund. The clerk gave me a receipt and said it would be refunded to my credit card. Never happened. Receipt says “cash refund” but I never got any cash. I feel ripped off on every level plus interior of truck was full of mud. Beware. UHaul's reputation is in the cellar now.
