Instead of getting a truck in Milton Freewater where I made the reservation, I had to drive an extra 15 miles to go pick up and return the truck. I don’t know what the point of making a reservation is. And of top of that, the uhaul website was a nightmare to use for check-in, the page kept not loading and I had to refresh the pages multiple times to complete the check in.

Changing equipment without notice until 45 min before rental time was terrible. Then also not notifying of online rental return that would be subject to another $20 charge also terrible. UHaul has really gone down hill

I had an appointment to pickup at 9:30
When I got there at 9:30 I was told, the person who does the uhaul rentals had gone to the store.
So I had to wait about 15-20 minutes for him to return.

This drop off location was easy and prompt. Parking for the truck was easily accessible and the key drop off was beyond easy. I would recommend for others to use for sure.

This is a commercial building with no obvious customer service, had to find an employee and he acted shocked or upset than I wanted to confirm my drop off. He just threw my keys on a table as if to show it did not matter. I will not be renting u-haul again, ever.

The location wasn't the main issue. The fact that I went to another location anticipating a trailer to pickup that was not there was the issue. My reservation was changed without a call, text or email. Then I had to scramble to find another one that locally had the trailer I needed. Then my reservation was not setup for the right amount of time or the fact I needed to take it basically across country to leave it at another location so the price was significantly different, also that they put me down for 1 day use.

Due to it being a holiday I did the 24/7 pickup. Everything went smoothly, and when I needed to call the 800 number customer service was very helpful. The only downside to the pick-up was the lock, too about 10 minutes and several tries to be able to open it.

The U-Haul policy of returning the truck with the gas gauge matching what it was at rental, rather than full, is a consumer rip-off. It's impossible to do this without putting in more fuel than was used. I smell a class action suit.
