Seemed like the staff was inconvenienced by me dropping off a truck. I asked if they wanted to double check the truck (and furniture pads I rented) and all the lady told me was that I needed to move the truck down the street to the gravel lot and drop the key off in the box.

I chose mobile login. I had so many issues getting the app to accept my pictures. When I went inside the employees refused to help since they weren't technically open yet. I was referred to the hotline which I called and yet again was told I had todo it online. Not impressed with online check in and will never do it again. I lost almost an hour of time that I had to pay my movers.

You don't need to make your clients feel cheated charging the the $1 “environmental fee”. It is abusive and I am going to check if is legal to do so. It is expensive enough already to rent a truck.

The truck given to me had a lock on the cargo door to which I was not informed of nor given the combination to open. They said the truck came in from another location so they were not aware, so obviously they never inspected the inside of the cargo bed when it was previously returned. After 30 minutes of trying to obtain the combination to the lock they finally assigned a different 15 ft. truck. Certainly wasn't a smooth pickup and start to a 800 mile trip. I feel the equipment should be inspected and ready to go, especially for reservations made a week in advance.

We rented the truck and then drove home. Once home we began our process but the rental company or someone had a lock still on the truck. We were told what we drove in gas was going to be waived. The extra 20 miles of driving used up some gas

Awful from the moment I walked in. Poorly trained staff. You need more people at your reception desk. You need to show people where their truck is instead of telling them to look at all the trucks in the parking lot for their number. Check in took 45 min. Ridiculous.

Everything about this experience was horrible. It took me over an hour to get my truck even though I was at the location on time. Nothing about the process of Picking up a truck is intuitive. I was unable to get directions for the keys and there was no record of my reservation in my account even though I had a confirmation by email. Because of the delays everything about my move was pushed back as my moving team had to wait on me to show up with the vehicle. I will never again do business with you all after an experience like this. You need to fix your user experience, your app, and how are you assist customers when the store is closed. There was no way I could have known that the trucks were located in a completely different area from where the office is. The only way I was able to find it was after flagging down an employee who was there before the official hours of the store opened. Again I have never had a worse experience with the business, Although in previous visits to U-Haul stores I have never had a great one. Horrible horrible company

Key pick up box was cleverly hidden in the bushes. Spent 15 minutes finding it. Contact free pick and drop off should include instructions to help find keys and key drops. Truck had 107000+ miles and had an engine warning light on. The mileage allowed for my one way rental was the exact mileage between U-Haul facilities. If my move was located anywhere other than on the actual route, U-Haul was guaranteed to get extra $$ for excess miles. Got the job done, but that is the only positive comment I can make.

Truck was not clean....windshield was dirty. The truck was not on the same lot and I had to go down the street and locate it. The truck smelled like cigarettes. The King Street location is much nicer....personnel and equipment.

Your u haul on line application is horrible. More than three attempts and I couldn't check in properly. And I had three other customers in the parking lot struggling as well. None of us succeeded in using it.

I rented a uhaul to drive from Charlotte to Isle of Palms. I moved a king mattress and a bed frame and head board. For some INSANE reason they charged me $27.00 for a cleaning fee of the truck. That is complete BS. I removed ALL of the trash from the van when I turned it in. The only thing in the cargo space was the 10 blankets that I rented which I did NOT fold up and stack in a corner when I dropped off the truck. WHY WAS I CHARGED A CLEANING FEE???? I've rented MANY Uhauls over the years and I have NEVER been charged this stupid fee. BAD FORM UHAUL!!! Absolutely horrible customer service!!! You turned a great experience into a greedy negative experience. Very sad!

The parking is very tight. We had to sit on the road to wait for the trailer to be connected to our truck. This really needs to be somewhere with more space. The people were helpful and courteous.

Parking is a bit tight on the hill where the trucks are stored. Real tight if a truck from a local biz is parked at the entrance to said truck parking hill. Outside of that y'all are the best in the Lowcountry.

Location is spread out but easily navigated. Vehicle was parked to rear of other trucks. Took a minute to find it. Overall the whole experience was very easy. I was charged for an extra day, as I used and dropped it off on a Saturday but they listed it as Sunday. Stopped in and issue was immediately rectified. All staff, several I dealt with were pleasant and courteous. Thank you

The U-Haul app was very frustrating to use. It doesn't make sense to login and start the pickup process only to have to login again. The app would also have network or timeout issues. I finally gave up and waited for the office to open to get the truck putting me an hour off schedule.

The location of the truck was wrong. The picture of where to find the truck was wrong. Spoke to the manager evan, he was rude and refused to solve my issue, stating call uhaul I'm not doing anything for you.so I hung up on him, no need to keep talking after that comment.

The tow dolly was severely damaged and should never have been rented out. The fenders were bent and actually rubbing the tires. When I told the attendant I would not take that he said it was up to me to find another at a different location. He actually said" well if something happens, you have insurance." Unbelievable!!!!

We couldn't ever get a live person on the phone. We had questions about the drop-off for which we had to show up. Thankfully we ultimately did not need to discuss the matter with anyone ahead of the drop.

I dropped the truck off on the 13th at 12232 little road—the day after I rented it. We didn't find anyone on the property until my sister honked the horn. He started the truck and left it running. He said it would cost 20.00 to give me a receipt. Later I found a charge on my credit card of 42.00 for returning the truck on the 15th. Do not use this dealership unless you are ready to get ripped off
