We ordered truck 24/7, we arrived at 8am with NO access to a truck. No email from uhaul, called EVERY phone number supplied by uhaul emails with computer only for bill pay or roadside assistance.. office to open at 9:30. We waited with 4 others & attendant arrived at 9:40. He took approximately 15 minutes to get the office open to assist all of us waiting. Now mind you I am paying a moving company while I wait on him & uhaul DID NOT PROVIDE ME EMAIL, TEXT or PHONE CALL with CODE!!!!!!!!!!! To pick up the truck. I drove 2 hours from my home to this haul location & had to wait almost another 2 hrs to get the truck. This is not my first 24/7 order, not sure i will use again & will definitely not recommend. We had a terrible experience with this location. Vehicle was in poor condition (no wiper fluid, engine hesitation, unsafe braking) , covered in cigarette ash and was not cleaned/sanitized given the current pandemic. Service manager was rude and not available for help at our requested reservation pick-up time (office was closed/locked). It took over an hour to get our keys as they were not in the lockbox for contactless pickup. Rent elsewhere.Lynch T.
Even though I completed this truck rental through the app and went into the main office to literally just pick up a key for 30 seconds w/no one else in there, I was asked to wear a mask immediately upon entering. Perhaps not mandate mask wearing in these instances?Badi B.

The equipment was dirty. It was not cleaned when I got it. There were water bottles inside, there was a Wild Dunes placard in the windsheild, the cup holders were filthy, and the steering wheel was dirty. The whole cabin smelled like Febreeze so badly I had to keep the windows open. Also- I had arranged to have 2 furniture dollies. The location removed them from my order without my knowledge because they were out of them. I arrived at 8:30 expecting to have them and they weren't there. I had to wait an entire hour for the location to open just to be told they didn't have any dollies for me to use. I was loaned a utility dolly and told to go to Lowes to purchase dollies. I had to do this in A RUSH to meet my movers at 10. I spent $75 out of pocket that I shouldn't have had to do and now own two dollies I don't need. I will NOT use this UHAUL location again, nor UHAUL, nor recommend your services. VERY dissapointed.Eliza A.
The rep was not present until about 5 minutes after my appointment time. By that time several people were already waiting. They did not have one of the dollies requested and I heard at least one other customer being told they didn't have something (including the type of vehicle) included in their reservation. When I came to return the vehicle, the rep was on his way out again. I suggest getting some more help and resources during the moving season, especially on a Saturday.Brian H.
Truck was not in good shape. The headliner was ripped and hanging down, the seats had cracks and burns and the truck interior was dirty. Put a new headliner in, re-cover the seats and deep clean the interior.Stephen L.

No issues with location just never using uhaul again. Truck broke down during move and I was still charged full price. Had to wait hours and ruined my whole moving day. I requested the truck at 8am and wasnt able to get it until 9:30. I had movers from 9-11 so I missed out on an hour of moving. The truck was also very dirty. I will not use this company again or recommend themKayla W.
Evan the manager charged me $20.00 for parking in the â€œincorrect parking lotâ€. I called to see what the charge was for Evan said that there are signs up. I didn't see any signs about this issue nor was I informed. Evan was rude and dismissive. This location is extremely dark at night.ROGER L.

The employee that I dealt with upon returning the truck was very rude. I ran 20 minutes over my time of return (which I understand was my fault) however when asked how much the overage fee would be the employee would not give me an answer. I asked him when he would be able to tell me or could he call before charging my card and he replied â€œprobably notâ€. He would just email me my receipt. He also stated he would have to go outside to look at the odometer but he wasn't going to do that at the moment. There was no other customers in the office, I don't understand why he couldn't. I left the office and as I pulled into my driveway not even a full 5 minutes later, I received a notification from my bank for the extra charge of $8.65. I'm upset and expressing my concern because of the horrible and unfriendly customer service I received. The employee was nonchalant and lazy as far as I'm concerned. Although I live 3 minutes away from this location, I will not be returning.Sherika C.

I've used this location before without any problems. This time though the size uhaul I requested earlier in the day was not set aside for mobile pickup so I was told I had to be bumped up to a 16ft truck. When I first started driving it the truck wouldn't change gears until around 3500rpm even when not pushing it and it sounded like the truck was about to fall apart. I drove for about 5 mins and then returned it back to the lot. On my way back I was called by someone from the location and I told them my problem. They said yeah just return it and we will refund you...was it known that the truck had an issue becuase I didn't prompt that call and it was after i was already planning on driving back. Very poor experience with how bad that truck was. Person on the phone was helpful but I wish I could've just gotten the truck I wanted originally.WILLIAM F.

I leased a 10' truck and when I arrived, I was told there were no 10' trucks. Walking past 3 10' trucks to the 15' I was given. When I got to my assigned truck, it was completely blocked in. Also, saturday I randomly got a text that my dropoff location had changed and no one picked up when I called to ask what happened.Jacob B.

I was confirmed, online, for a 9 am pick up.. When I arrived, office doesn't open until 930..GERALD L.
When I turned in the vehicle, I saw that the tire pressure warning message was showing. I looked at the right rear tire and it was indeed low, but not dangerously so. I went back to the rental office to ask what to do around noon and the office was locked, not 10 minutes after I checked out. I was late in picking up the vehicle by nearly 2 hours, and I imagine this may have inconvenienced the attendant. I didn't have time to pump up the tire - apologies on not making it right. I would have thought U-haul checks these vehicles before renting them - I was surprised this was not caught and just thought it should be communicated.Abraham B.
I booked the vehicle for 3pm â€" when I arrived to the location there were 2 other people waiting outside and the door was locked with a sign that said someone would be back at 3pm. They did not return until 3:30, this is not the first time that pickup location did not have someone there to be able to rent vehicle at time booked. Also, the vehicle did not smell good, the rear tire was low and the vehicle had a couple of lights on the dash indicating it needed service. Overall not a great experience and may not rent from U-Haul again.GONZALO V.

I drove 62 miles and put just over 6 gallons in the tank when I returned the vehicle. I thought this was reasonable based on the truck having a 40 gallon tank and reported 10 MPG. However, I was charged over $6 for an extra gallon upon return. I was sure I had refilled the tank to the level it was when i picked it up.JOHN M.

The windshield was cracked over 16 inches. The container part of the truck leaked so my stuff got wet and I reserved a dolly and they were all gone when I got there, and I was there when they Opened. The staff was fine. They said they had no control over what was available. Because the guaranteed equipment was not available, it doubled my move time.HAMPTON A.

The truck we rented had the 'service engine soon' indicator light on as well as a message to put air in the right front tire. The tire was noticeably low. I called to let the staff know and was told they were already aware of this issue. It made me feel pretty unsafe. The online check-in process was AWFUL, extremely frustrating, and time-consuming, when I was in a very big hurry to meet a deadline. I ended up having to change my plans. The employee who helped me had to completely cancel my reservation and make a new one. At least he was nice and helpful in trying to fix the situation. Finally, I was charged for gas even though I filled the gas tank back up to where it was when I picked up the truck. Just a disappointing experience.MEGAN K.

Seemed like the staff was inconvenienced by me dropping off a truck. I asked if they wanted to double check the truck (and furniture pads I rented) and all the lady told me was that I needed to move the truck down the street to the gravel lot and drop the key off in the box.Justin P.

I chose mobile login. I had so many issues getting the app to accept my pictures. When I went inside the employees refused to help since they weren't technically open yet. I was referred to the hotline which I called and yet again was told I had todo it online. Not impressed with online check in and will never do it again. The truck given to me had a lock on the cargo door to which I was not informed of nor given the combination to open. They said the truck came in from another location so they were not aware, so obviously they never inspected the inside of the cargo bed when it was previously returned. After 30 minutes of trying to obtain the combination to the lock they finally assigned a different 15 ft. truck. Certainly wasn't a smooth pickup and start to a 800 mile trip. I feel the equipment should be inspected and ready to go, especially for reservations made a week in advance.Ted H.
