The App is a great idea and the contactless pick-up and drop-off is a nice option. However the App needs some work. I wasn't able to complete the drop-off using it, because at one point it wouldn't allow me to "continue." Fortunately the staff was there and able to assist me. It would have been a big problem if the app wasn't working properly for pick-up as no staff was on-site at that time.
Richard T.Major wind noise/air draft driver's door. Radio didn't work. Door handle broken. This truck should not be allowed to go long distance. John at the office was great guy, unfortunately the truck? Not so good...
David S.We did not realize that the 12 noon pickup time was an appointment, but thought that was the time that the vehicle was available for pickup. There seems to have been a missunderstanding.

Nirmalya B.I have a new cell, under two years old. (iPhone SE 2020). Your check in web app wanted to upload a photo of my drivers license; this did not work. Likewise, I was not able to upload a photo showing odometer and fuel gauge during truck return. Pro tip - troubleshoot your automated procedures before implementation.

Narsa M.in overall, very positive and all activities from checking in, driving, to returning are highly professional. A slight confusion about the specific term "Truck Share 24/7" upon loading U-haul app into mobile phone. This term is shown in the U-haul website. However, the actual app only shows "U-Haul" sign, and does not show "Truck share 24/7". It was a little bit concern whether it is the authentic U-haul app initially.

Sreekumar K.Vehicle shutter locked while pickup. They were not able to provide another vehicle. Also, they didn't have furniture dolly which I booked previous day. Due to this, I had to life and furniture bush for damaged. They made me to wait 1.30 mins to assign alternate vehicle that too multiple calls I made to customer service which is again worst. Don't goto this location is my suggestion. Find other location.

Roger B.I got there on Thursday about 930am. The door was locked. A man came to the door and pointed at the key. That is what he wanted. Didn't want to go over the vehicle with me. I wanted to report that I think there was a problem with the fuel gauge. When I stopped halfway to drop some items in Lynbrook, I gassed up and the nozzle shut off I assumed the tank was filled. It was at a little above a quarter of a tank and when I got in it just registered a bit over half and that was after I put $38.00 in it. I barely moved off that level and I drove another 80 miles home to Plainsboro. The other thing was I went over the Verrazano bridge and there is no way to pay for the toll anymore so I assume you will be getting charged for that but I had no alternative. When I went on the NJ Turnpike I went to the full service lanes and paid the toll with cash.

Lenore E.DO NOT do a last minute location change for the pickup. I was informed 1h before my pickup time of the location change which caused me to use a bike for 45min because the new location has no public transport access. Which meant that I missed my pickup time. Also, your hidden taxes are sneaky. Just show them in the estimated total at checkout already so there are no surprises. I could have used a private service with cheaper rates.
Alexander M.Truck and cab were not cleaned. Front headlight on passenger side inoperable, had to drive 70 miles in dark with one headlight, dangerous and illegal. Interior dome light did not work. Back light, near top on passenger side did not work, drivers side door knob on window handle came off. High pitched squeeling when driving, sounded like a bad belt. Vehicle was not clean nor well maintained which is dangerous.

Andrew L.1 IF YOUR SCHEDULING WEBSITE AND THE CONFIRMING CALL INSIST THAT THERE WILL BE CONTACTLESS PICK UP AVAILABLE- MAKE IT SO. WEBSITE ON MORNIGN OF PICK UP SAID I HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER 1.5 HRS FOR LOCATION TO OPEN. 2 THE ONLINE PHOTOS OF THE TRUCK FAILED TO DISPLAY A LARGE SCRAPE ON THE SIDE DOOR, AND THE PICUTURES WERE OF POOR RESOLUTION SO I IMAGINE IT WOULD BE EASY FOR PEOPLE TO MISS SCRAPES AND SUCH GET UNFAIRLY HELD TO ACCOUNT. THE TRUCK WAS CLEAN AND HANDELED WELL. IT WAS THE UHAUL ONLINE SERVICE THAT FELL DOWN
ROBERT K.I reserved a vehicle for after hours pick up with the following additions: Hand truck Dolly Packing blankets I checked the vehicle, and it contained only an appliance mover (not a hand truck for moving boxes that I requested). The Dolly and packing blankets were not provided. I was charged for all of the items, including the missing ones. So I called U-haul, waited on hold for 35 minutes (no exaggeration) only to be told that that I had to call another phone number. I call that number, waited for about 20 minutes, got frustrated, and hung up. It totaled to about $24. Not a huge sum, but it is the principle at this point. Very disappointed.

The rep claimed he was a manager and tried to send me to another location 10 miles away in another city. Terrible!
