The van was not clean and had an odor of horse manure. We requested 6 moving blankets and none were placed in the van. Also, the online access to get the key needs to be simplified. Way too many steps and took us a 1/2 hour to finally get the key. Requesting your location while trying to get the key was the issue even after I allowed Uhaul to access my location.Cynthia T.

Truck had a layer of dust on the dashboard and clearly had not been wiped or disinfected for quite some time if ever. It took 45 minutes for the agent to process my pick up of the truck even though I had advanced reservation and I was the only customer.elisha G.
We selected mobile pickup and the dolly we requested and paid for wasn't in the truck when we got home. So we had to go back and obtain dolly from office which was thankfully open by that point (negating the whole mobile pickup). The truck was older and very beat up, including a back door latch that was warped from lots of use and extremely hard to close.Melissa C.

Not charge the 20 dollar convenience fee if the customer can not check in when dropping truck off due to move fault of their own!! I had location enabled on my phone but it could not be detected on your drop off page so called and was told just leave key in drop box and it will be taken care of next day...no one informed me I would be charged 20 dollars!! Not fairxas was no fault of mine your system did not work and counter help unavailable at drop off location as they locked their doors and are phone only due to covid.. I feel I am owed the 20 dollars back and need to rent another truck in a few weeks but would becreluctsbt yo rent from uhaul because of this!!Scott B.
I never received a lockbox code. It took me over 40 minutes, four phone calls, and deleting and re-applying for a reservation, all while I was freezing in an empty parking lot and paying movers that were already at the pick up location, to be able to access the keys to the van. And only because they sent the code to the employee locked inside the building.Adele B.

Make the web-site more responsive to the closest location to the customer rather than defaulting to a favored pick-up facility. The website seemed to default to a location which is much further from our home.thomas R.
The property was not easy to communicate with. I called a few days before to confirm my reservation and that I would be able to access the vehicle before their normal operating hours and no one answered the phone. I left a voicemail and called 4 times throughout the day before I called UHaul Corporate to get some kind of confirmation. When renting equipment like this for a move it is never pleasant to go into the experience unsettled or unsure if you will actually get the vehicle you reserved. They did have a lock box on site where I could access the key but it would have been nice to know that beforehand and also to have had the location return my phone calls.Erin L.

the truck i was given had an issue when you put key into ignition it would not turn, you had to play with it until it started, the clerk in the office new that. also my credit card was charged additional fees of $73.00 the day after,,,for a truck i had less than 5 hours and returned to same location on the same day and i am still waiting for this to be resolved and refunded ,,overall the 19.99 rental has cost me over 150.00 so far therefor no i am not happy and would not recommend uhaulMarta R.

The only aspect of my rental experience to mention is Because my prepaid, reserved vehicle was not available at the 1011 Ceder Bridge Ave location at my time of pick up, U-HAUL center redirected us to the nearest alternate pick up location @ Jordan Rd. I incurred the cost of additional 12 miles @ $1.99/mile & tax to accept and return the U-HAUL truck. Definitely NOT a major issue and NOT U-HAUL FAULT. I am stating this only because of my current financial strife, how $25.00 extra hurt a little. U_HAUL is and has always provided equipment and service with courtesy and without confusion. I ordered on line and got a price of 34$ and when I got there it was over 60$. I drove approximately 10 miles and got charged 9$ for gas. The $19 rental cost me about $70. Very misleading for such a reputable companyAnthony N.

When I rented the van I was told the gas tank was filled and to fill it up before returning it or I would be charged $50. I literally drove it less than 10 miles and stopped to fill it with gas - that's when I realized it couldn't have been full when I left the rental spot. I filled it and it cost me $29 - $29 to go less than 10 miles. If I wouldn't have filled it I would have been charged $50. Glad I paid $3 in gas per mile. Great Experience!Dan R.
When truck is brought back before closing, check the mileage, and gas before customer leaves and give the receipt then while he is there, don't send bill to person and they are right there, makes no sense.ALFRED S.

Hello, this is Mts Garcia reviewing. I was home waiting for him, we were gonna pick up a couch we though we bough online, come to find out AFTER he rented the truck, the guy sold it to someone else! Do we NEVER got to use the truck. Check the miles when he got it and when he returned the truck and you will see, he only drove from your store to the house, and returned it a few mins later, leaving the key in the drop off box. It's there any chance we can get at least a partial refund? We were left with no couch, and lost what he paid for the truck! We may rent for you soon, as we're still looking for furniture. Thank you.
