The truck was left with no fuel, broken ramp, littered with Chinese food and sauces all over the floor and walls, a dozen wet and dirty blankets were in the back of the truck and grease covered most surfaces. My belongings and clothing now are greased up and I had to clean out the truck before loading my possessions, tolerate a foul stench, load without a functioning ramp and put disgusting blankets into a bag to keep them contained. My outfit now has grease stains. My experience with the truck was very poor. The staff member in the location however was helpful! When I spoke to the corporate office I got nowhere. I need to move again in a month or so and I will be looking for another company to use. Thumbs down on uhaul.

The clerk did not know how to comp,eye the reservation when we piicked up the vehicle. I had ordered it online. When we returned the Velho le we we double charged for safe move and charged for 2 days when we only had the vehicle for 5 1/2 hours. The reservation was a six hour rental. The clerk said she understood we were overcharge but she could not reverse it , cancel it or refund. I’ll never use Uhaul agai.

Salesperson was super friendly came out check the fuel level make sure the truck was clean informed me about the insurance what it covers and what it doesn't cover would definitely deal with them again

I thought I would reach out because there were a few concerns on my recent rental. The issues are listed below: 1. When I reserved my truck online, I reserved a pick up for my 15 foot truck in Rock Hill, NY. I was contacted the night before my rental telling me that the pick up for the truck will now be in Liberty, NY, which is almost 30 minutes away from where I needed the truck. Had I known this would’ve happened I would’ve used a different rental service in Rock Hill as my time was very pressed on the day of the rental. 2. When I picked up the truck in Liberty on the morning of 7/20/2018, it was at a small local grocery store. As I paid for the truck, they handed me the keys and said have a good trip. I asked if they needed to do a walk around with me and they said, “Your all set.” This had me concerned but I listened to her because they were the U-Haul rep. 3. A few things with the truck during the three hour ride came up. The AC was sporadically working at times which became very inconvenient. Also, when I was driving at night, the right headlight was shaking and pointing more downward then the other one. 4. After I got to my location in South Jersey, I filled it up and dropped it off. When asked if there was anything wrong with the truck, I told her the list above. She asked if anyone had walked around the truck with me when I picked it up and I said no, which I thought was odd. When we looked at the light, we noticed the headlight casing was partially broken after we opened the hood. While she saw no visible damage to the outside of the truck in that area, we were both puzzled as to what could’ve broken the headlight casing. She also notices some scrapes here and there on the truck which I assure her were there when I picked it up. She was a great agent and said that she was not going to hold me accountable for anything as she was unable to prove the truck wasn’t damaged prior to me getting it. While I appreciated her decision, it bothered me that I could’ve been held responsible for damage to a truck that I did not cause. I must say this experience was less than normal of my other rentals with your company. While both representatives were pleasant, these issues will come into play during my next rental decision.
