I feel like the pricing for renting it w/ the mileage is a bit steep. I paid ~ $230 for a 120 mile trip, not including the 35 dollars worth of gas I paid for.

THEODIS F.Nice big parking lot with lots of entrances and exits. I used the digital self check in. The parking lot is shared and there were no “equipment return†signs. No instructions via the app about where/how to park. The Uhaul store front is not visible from where the trucks/trailers are parked, so it was difficult to find the key drop box. Next time I will just do the drop off with a person.

Looks as if it's a facility that picks and chooses how they do things. It absolutely doesn't seem like a uhaul policy just a pick and choose situation. I would not recommend UHAUL as it seems each location has their very own different policies. I feel excess mileage is added to increase the cost.

I ended up having to wait for 2.5 hours to get my equipment because the office didn't open until then. I will probably never use uhaul again after this.

Joseph V.Renting through the app was a pain. Too much back and forth with me looking for the vehicle then having to go in the store. My wife received a call as a way to verify who I am. After she did they just hung up on her. The lady at the desk did not show that I had an order and then the trucks were so close that I had to enter through the passenger side. It was dark so I couldn't see blemishes on the truck and driver side was so close I couldn't take a picture of that if I wanted to. Locked everything up thinking I was done just for the app to have me unlock the back and take more pictures. Definitely not a smooth experience with no information on what to expect
Bobby M.I was supposed to pick up a truck in Canon City at 9am but they did not have my truck. I had to drive to the drop off location 30 minutes away to get my truck which caused me to be late to meet the movers I had paid for. The truck was dirty and water was leaking into the front seat from the roof. The truck drove like it was on its last leg and didn't want to start. The transmission sounded terrible and the RPM would jump up to 4 for no reason. Very frustrating experience. The staff at the location was very kind and pleasant but the vehicle was a mess. The experience of have to drive an extra 30 minutes to pick up the truck and drive all the way back to meet the movers was very stressful and cost extra gas. Very poor experience.

RoseMary B.I reserved a trailer in which I was reassured by two different employees (made by two separate phone calls) that the trailer would be ready by 8:00 the following morning. The trailer never left the facility until 10:30. I was paying a hired man $20.00 an hour to wait on the tracking and confusion of the U-haul dealer. This was an additional $50.00 that I had to pay because of their errors.

Beverly M.People were very nice and courteous. However, they did not complete paperwork correctly and I was half way through my journey and had to stop to give them correct trailer number as they completed the contract with incorrect information. Then when dropping it off, it was confusing em because there was some “emergency†put onto my contract and nobody knew what it was. Overall equipment worked but paperwork was confusing and should there have been troubles. It would have gotten worse.

That person said that he'd send them at noon for three hours, that it'd be more than enough for my stuff. They showed up at two, and trashed all my furniture and walls, my fridge and they destroyed my new wooden floor. Also, some stuff just disappeared... At the same time, I was receiving all kinds of pressure from the U-Haul rep... I could not return the trucks with my stuff inside... It was just a horrible experience, and the insurance won't cover even half of the damage caused.

Claire B.This was NOT the pickup location that I reserved. My pickup location changed to a location 30 minutes away - and I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED. This caused almost a 2 hour delay in getting my rental picked up. Please NOTIFY ME when changing my location! When I finally found my vehicle - it had been vandalized and the gas tank was drilled and drained, and it was patched. I had to immediately fill it with gasoline when driving off the lot. Luckily, the patched gas tank did hold up for the rest of our move. I reserved 24 furniture pads and the pickup location only had 6. What good are reservations if they mean nothing? Overall, UHaul reservations and customer service is NOT good and does not make me recommend UHaul.
