I explained to pickup location, I was pulling this trailer 1200 miles, asked when wheel bearings had been serviced. He could not tell me. After 150 miles, one whl bearing was much hotter than others! By second fuel stop, bearing was so hot paint was turning brown! It did not fail, but it was very hot, I drove slow due to this! Took an extra day, plus worried about bearing failure along the road! Terrible trip.Bearing was either dry, or set to tight. No excuse, UHAUL should know how to maintain bearings.

Both the local I had to pick up my truck from and the size of truck were incorrect. I booked a month and a half in advanced and then the morning of when I arrive to the location where I asked to pick up my truck, I was told that I “should've been called yesterday” but I wasn't. I then had to drive significantly out of the way to get my truck. At the new location I was told when you book it's only a “preferred” location and size at booking so they can be changed, apparently without notice. All in all, I started my day a half hour late and then added 12 miles onto my trip that ended up being a total of only 20 miles, which I still had to pay for. Very displeased.

All the questions are in regards to this particular store front. They were great. It's the rest of the experience that was just awful. I receive a call from Heather in your Indianapolis office the day before I'm supposed to pick up my truck she tells me that I have to go to Bloomington to get the truck that I reserved and guarantees me that it's at that facility I travel all the way to Bloomington take a half day off of work to get there for them to tell me that they didn't have a one-way truck and that she was wrong this point I've wasted half of my day then they push me off and tell me that they don't have a 26 foot truck within 100 mile radius and they'll have to give me a 20 footer with a pull behind trailer. Then not to mention if I want that truck and trailer I have to drive to a third location to pick that up so I did. I was compensated on the price for getting the runaround but I must say your representative in Indianapolis who's name is Heather was not very friendly she was quite rude actually. I think your staff especially in regards to Heather at the Indianapolis call center really needs to be trained better and how to deal with the public. She clearly didn't know what she was talking about and I got the runaround to drive over an hour away from my home to pick up a truck that wasn't even available for me to get when she promised me that it was. Then once that facility had Heather on the phone she blamed them and said it was their fault they didn't have it when clearly she made the mistake and was just trying to cover her own rear. Then on top of it her attitude was very lacking in any type of compassion Or understanding.

Hello, I made reservations on line for a 10 feet truck w dolly and blankets. I found the location very convenient to my home! After waking approximately 15 minutes, I showed the on line registration to Ethan and was informed that the “online registration usually didn't work well” so there was a slight delay w the truck pick up. Also, they did not have the requested blankets or furniture dolly. I borrowed a dolly from my neighbor. However, when I opened the back of the there sat a dolly. The driving portion of the truck was not clean. The steering wheel was filthy. The manual window knob was broken and it was very difficult to use. Overall, my assessment is honest and I really appreciate having U-Haul available for my use. Thank you, Jean

The employees seemed annoyed by having to deal with customers and continuously spat tobacco juice across the room into a trash can. It was beyond disgusting.

About 15 minutes after driving away I realized 1/4 tires were completely flat. I was told not to come back but to call the road hazard number, eventually the tire was replaced later that evening at my destination. I had to stop twice during the trip to put air in the tire.

Only one person working and he was not a good communicator. Told us to pull trailer to the back, was Moving other trailer around when we got there, then he just stood in the lot. No direction on where to park the trailer. We backed it in to an empty spot, he moved it and then said I'd get a receipt in email. I dropped it Off during Business hours so it would be completely checked in and I'd have confirmation. Didn't get a receipt until the next day.

No customer service ran by a teenager who didn't know anything about anything. Was not given what was promised by uhaul. Was called by uhaul Friday afternoon to tell me my truck for Saturday I had reserved was not available and I would have to wait till Sunday for a truck. Was told for this inconvenience I would get discounted rate of 99 dollars. So we pick up truck and it's 144.00. I added the insurance so that would have made it 113.00. So questioned the total and kid said he didn't know and couldn't do anything about it. So i paid it and left because we needed the truck. Now on Monday uhaul. Charges me another 36 bucks. So what went from 99 bucks ended up costing 178 bucks. I just don't understand.

The employee didn't stay to check the trailer. 1 out of 4 rear lights worked. Over all very nice gentleman but would've loved for him to stay to look at the vehicle before we left.

I was not told or made aware of the fact that I was supposed to take pictures of the truck when I returned it, and because 1 20oz drink bottle was left in the cab I was charged 211.00 for cleaning fees....all the locations I stopped at were unprofessional and some were downright rude...the offices were FILTHY and stank...and the lady at Arthur repairs ( drop off point) was RUDE!

I originally wanted a trailer with the truck but was told I needed to go to another location about 15 minutes away to get it. I ordered online and ordered five dozen blankets but was only given about one dozen at time of pickup. On my agreement, the fuel tank was noted to be just over half tank but truck was only actually at one quarter tank.

Lots of confusion in regards to inventory and trailers available, even though I was booking online. When calling to confirm, was told they did not have my trailer and they could get back to me after they took their lunch. Extremely unhelpful. Unprofessional office, 4 teenage appearing kids sitting around on their phones when I arrived to pick up my trailer.

Scheduled pickup time was 8. The employee showed up at 8:05. I then had to walk across a busy state rd. to get to the truck that they parked across the street in someone's else's parking lot.

Oh my god WHY do you need two contact names and numbers for people with out of state licenses?? I'm 42 years old, I don't exactly have a mommy and a daddy to list. One is annoying, but understandable. Two is going a bit far.

They called me and right away were very rude and said I was late with truck. I explained that I didn't even get the truck until 12:45pm Bloomington time 1145amEvamsville time and she didn't care was rude said I would pay extra day. I said well I'd you are going to charge me the. I will just keep it and she said someone needed it and they wouldn't charge the extra day if I brought it back. She lied they did charge me even though I brought it back. I will never rent with Uhaul. I would even pay more at another place then rent with you.

Upon drop off the girl says thanks we will email your receipt and a few hours later I was checking email and they charged me $76 for fuel charge. I went back in with my paper the next morning and showed them I got it at a 1/2 and was told to fill it to 1/2 so I did. They tried to say I moved it to 15/16 on the app, which I did not. Then they blamed a computer glitch. I didn't buy that either but they did get my money refunded. I think trucks should go out full and be returned full.
