The movers that were hired through bowling green ky were extremely unprofessional and dangerous due to employing underage children to assist. One child was injured and several pieces of furniture damaged. They also did not follow instructions.

Location closed before the advertised close time, but the iPhone app worked great for self-check-in. Site had lots of vehicles and I had to park the truck in front of a trailer.

I originally reserved a truck rental at the different site, CJ auto in Bloomington. I, however, could not rent it from CJ auto, because the truck was not ready. The owner/operator at CJ auto deferred me to the new site, Less Stress Rentals. I am ok with Less Stress Rentals, yet I was not happy with CJ auto.

The guy that gave me the uhaul said "whoever checked it in didn't check the gas tank so it is under a half tank. Just fill it to that and tell them when you return it" . Didn't seem like wanting to do any more work than what was necessary

The van I rented had the tire sensor light on. When I mentioned it to the boy doing the rental he said as long as I had the insurance I'd be covered for the damages. As I was driving 400 miles that day on major highways this was not a comfort especially since there was another van on the lot. I called after I returned it and the owner said one of the sensors was bad and they were waiting on a part. He apologized for the kid, but I never should have been given the van, nor should I have been told that if it blew out the insurance would cover it. I spent 48 hours worried as I traveled 70 miles an hour on I65.

They lied to me about the price and how much I would be paying. They said they'd refund me the $20 'late' fee because it wasn't late it just wasn't dropped off during business hours. I specifically asked about that and they said I'd only get charged $90-$100 total including 160 miles. I went around 180-190 miles but got charged $130 total. They are liars or incompetent and I want my money back

Your help needs some training in customer service. They tell me to drop the trailer across the street the the dude gets uoset when i call him back 15 minutes later and ask him if they were coming to check us in thats why you didnt get a higher rating

Less Stress Rentals was superb. The crew knew what they were doing, and I was in and out in no time, even with other customers and changes to my order. Couldn't ask for more! Meanwhile, I went to Southside Rental at 4:30 on Friday looking for boxes. Doors were open, people milling around. I grabbed my boxes and a person asked me" what are you doing, we are closed. Closed 30 minutes ago. Come back tomorrow." OK, that did not make me happy, but OK, I never checked on their posted hours thinking that most of the world works until 5, surely a customer service business would. But, OK, I'll come back tomorrow. So, on Saturday, I logged into Uhaul.com and ordered boxes from Southside Rental, Bloomington, IN, for pickup. The website asked what time I would pick them up. I checked the hours. It said 8-4 pm. I said I would be there at 3 pm. I arrived at 3:04. They were closed. The hours posted on their door said 8:00-3:30 pm. That was false. The hours posted online were 8:00-4:00 pm. That was false. I was told by a U-Haul employee the next day that they closed at Noon. Wonderful. I hope they all had a great Saturday. Meanwhile I lost two hours travelling to buy boxes and came home with nothing, because of basic incompetence, communicating hours of operation. So, what's your overall score here? 100 for Less Stress plus 0 for Southside, divide by 2.

Easiest transaction I've had this year! With anyone! I rented the 9' cargo van online and reserved a pickup time for 4:00 pm. I called the office to see if I could rent the van 1/2 hour early. The man I spoke to said “no problem”, that he would adjust the reservation online for me. He did that and I received a confirmation almost immediately. Sure enough, it was ready early, clean and gassed up.I rented it for 4 hours but I ended up keeping it about 45 minutes longer than I intended due to highway construction. Once again, I called the office to let them know because I'd be returning it after they closed and I was a little apprehensive about doing the “self check in”; however, the man I spoke to said it wasn't a problem and that he would wait for me. As I pulled up, he came out to meet me and had the final receipt sitting in my email inbox first thing the next morning. I truly wish that all of my dealings with other businesses were as easy as this was and that the folks I interact with at them were as friendly and helpful as the men in this office. Could not ask for any better service because these folks were the best!

The trailers would be so much easier if they had a crank to raise and lower them onto the hitch. They are very heavy and difficult to manually raise onto the hitch.

I was not supposed to pick up a U-Haul at this location. There was an error on the end of U-Haul, however the staff at this location was more than helpful and accommodating due to the hardships we endured. However, the location at 2622 S US 31 Greenwood, IN was unbearable. We were sworn at, threatened, and met with the worst owner / manager I have ever seen. I will never return to this location and I hope no one ever has to deal with the unprofessional owner ever again.

This was not the original location we requested and it wasn't until 9am on pickup day at Southside Rentals that we were notified of the change. After navigating to the new location, waited 30 minutes to be helped because there was only one person working. He was professional but overwhelmed. The short notice change wasted over an hour and half of time and it took forceful discussion to get reasonable compensation for the inconvenience.

I dropped off after hours so I really have no opinion. However, my drop off location was changed the day of pick up. This created a significant problem for me given I requested a location within walking distance of my apartment. The original drop off location had a sign that they were not accepting drop off's in the month of August so it should have never been an option in the first place. That would have allowed me to better plan instead of scrambling at the last minute to find a ride from a drop off location 9 miles away. On top of that I was on hold for over an hour trying to get assistance and when a representative finally got on the line they were transferring me to a different representative and hung up. I understand lines can drop but I was also hung up on 4 times prior to that on the day before I was suppose to get my vehicle. So clearly a problem! I was also offered a discount to drop off the vehicle in a town close to my original drop off. I turned that down because I wasn't aware that the original drop off location was going to change. I would have taken that deal if UHaul had accurate records and indicated the original drop off was not going to be an option for the entire month of August per their sign. I was very disappointed and am likely to never use or recommend UHaul again. If someone would like further information I can be reached at 607-343-7205.

U-Haul changed the drop-off location on me the day before I needed to return it, and had to take it to a place outside Bloomington. I am new to this city and did not know anyone to help me get back after having to drive twice as long as the original drop-off location. This disrupted my arrangements and interrupted my process of settling into my new home because I had to drive to a different location further away in a new place I have never been before. The original drop-off location turned out to be overwhelmed with drop-offs, which is confusing to me, given that this is a location that customers specify upon making a reservation, so there was plenty of time to be prepared for these kinds of busy days, this variability and poor scheduling in the system cost me extra time and money. I had to pay over extra money to Uber back and I should not have had to, since the reason I selected the original location was that it allowed me to use the bus system to get back home. Please do your best to improve this situation. Since we are meant to provide a drop-off location way beforehand, and it was specified in the paper I signed, this should imply that the set location is prepared in advance to receive the vehicle that we take the time and energy to drive all the way there.
