We arrived at our appointment time, 4pm. The business should have been open, but wasn't. We waited a while, called the business, no answer. Door locked. Tried to check in online, no signal. Checked truck, no blankets or dollies. About 15 past, we went to a signal and called UHaul. They couldn't get the store OR THE AREA MANAGER. We finally went back to the store and the guy was there and it was open. Claimed he was in the bathroom, but that was a lie because his car was there now. He was gone. Nervous, odd, sketchy as heck, defensive, incompetent. Not suitable to represent your company.

The guy at the rental place was beyond amazing. Friendly, helpful. But I rented a 10' truck. It wouldn't start. When he finally called his son I was told there was a 15 min anti theft feature. We waiting 15 min. It still didn't work. So the only other option was a 20'. The process of getting the uhaul was over an hour. The big truck started, but drove horribly. Pulling to the right the whole time. When trying to get it in the provided space to pick up my furniture, it didn't fit. So we had to go thru the grass. Where it got stuck because it was so heavy. I called gal who said it would be $400 to get it out. I am a single mom and not working I spent the last of my money getting the uhaul to pick up the free furniture I was given. I have never rented a uhaul before but after this experience and the horrible customer service I received (the truck I rented would have fit) given a truck that was too big cost me $150 extra. And isn't there a guarantee they have your truck? Because they didn't.

Didn't want to go here to begin with. Had no choice. My 40 dollar reservation immediately became over 70. Whatever, I didn't make a fuss about it. Well, after the fact, they lied about how much gas was in the vehicle before I received it. 50 mile indicator came on before I even got out of Leetonia. I drove 19 miles TOTAL. One trip. Put 20 in the tank, that's 6.2 gallons. Claimed it had less upon return than when I took it. For that to be true, the truck would have to average 3 mpg. And if that's the case? Get better trucks. Now U-Haul wants another 100 dollars for the alleged 4 gallons to balance it out. Which they absolutely will not be getting. Just out of principal. Because all-together, that would mean the truck now averages 1.9 mpg. And I'm not an idiot. :)

The uhaul had bedbugs coming out of the wood on the sides away from my stuff. I called the uhaul person from that location named Mike and he cussed at me then hung up. Very unprofessional. It should've been over checked and cleaned. Now i have the chances of getting bedbugs with my entire family. And then was told could have the uhaul until sunday no charge and still got charged. Will probably never rent another uhaul again at least from this location.

I scheduled a uhaul a month in advance. The day before pickup i was called and told there weren't any uhauls available near me that i chose. I had to drive 40 minutes to pick up the truck. I was told that i would be credited for having to drive and wouldn't have to pay for the mileage. I was charged extra for the mileage and ended up paying around 200$ between gas and a uhaul that should have costed 134. I will NEVER go through Uhaul again. It was super unprofessional. When i arrived to pick up the truck, the worker decided he wanted to argue with me about my scheduled pick up time and when i tried to show him my reservation, refused to look and threw the keys my way. I had a terrible experience with a company that was supposed to be great.

First I show up to this shady hole in the wall. Guy behind the counter didn't even move when I walked in. I tell him I have a reservation for 11am pick up. He proceeds to tell me that "i only have one truck and thats being used today". I try to show him my reservation and he proceeds to tell me " I don't care what that says I don't have one for you". He is dead ass serious. So I say " with all due respect man I just drove over 3 hours and came here be a use I had a reservation for 11am to pick up a uhaul". He huffs and gruffs and calls someone then says okay ill give it to you but you need to tell me where you're going and asks what time im returning it. I tell him it's reserved for a one way to Columbus. He acts pissed again and finally calls his "mom" that's listed on his phone and after about 35 minutes im leaving. The uhaul was dirty and he didn't even give me the info to do a walk around. Its cool I took videos. Then I tell him im locking my car and ill be back to get it tonight late or tomorrow. Skip to yesterday, I go to pick my car up and guess what.....Two of my fucking tires were slit down the sidewalls. The neighbors claim the guy who runs the place was "by my car" but thats it. Uhaul should be ashamed its even associated with this place and now im out almost 500 on tires because I should have trusted my intuition and left this place the minute my stomach turned.

While the location was excellent uhaul s online reservation system SUCKS!!!! On top of that after 45 frustrating minutes getting it finalized to get the 4 digit lock code the lock wouldn't open!!! I will never reserve a uhaul online again.

They were very nice, equipment was well maintained. The hostess i got it from was very sweet and kind, when I mentioned that we may be a few hours late returning it, and ask what time they closed she said "don't worry we will be here", and they were. I brought it back the next day, but because of unforseen circumstances we were 2 hours late, thought we would be charged late fees they forgave them. The son was just as sweet as him Mother. Thank you for you great service. Would definitely use them again

I had requested a different location but the computer system pushed me here. Only one truck (the one I requested). Computer system did not work. Truck had the wrong amount of gas listed. The attendant was friendly and tried to do his best.

No one was there for almost an hour. We had time constraints. Called U Haul 3 times. Very disappointed!!! Asked U Haul for a discounted rate since the person was late. Have heard nothing from U Haul to correct this.

It took 45 minut s to get the truck. Got the wrong keys. Had to call uhaul. Had to find right keys. Big mess. Nice lady but disorganized. The truck was not 20' long. It was 18' witha bonus two feet and that seemed like a huge rip off.

The service from this gas station was great. This poor rating is for UHAUL'S service, and will be the reason we will not repeat business with UHAUL. For an interstate move of a 4 bedroom home, we reserved the largest truck, several pieces of equipment and two laborers for two hours during load-in. I checked our reservation online, and all was well. On a hunch, I PHONED the pick up location of the truck and was advised that they didn't have a truck that large. Our pick up was now scheduled for an hour later, AND was an hour further away. WITHOUT NOTIFYING US. The truck wouldn't have even arrived until after our UHAUL hired help had been sitting around for an hour. Your customer service operators were friendly, calm, and helpful. They even gave us the phone number for the field manager, but he didn't answer the phone OR have voice mail set up. Wouldn't that be a requirement for a field manager??? In the end, we sped across three states, to pick our truck up the night before the move. The pick up site did NOT have the equipment we reserved. There was no scurrying around trying to find it for us, just an "oh well...." attitude. Go elsewhere for your rental. Reserving through UHAUL is stating a wish, not making an actual reservation. You'll get whatever they have to give you, wherever it is, and whenever they decide to do so. We will never use UHAUL again for any reason.

what we needed...furniture dolly was not there....my husband had to travel to pick up the furniture dolly... we paid 2 times for a furniture dolly both locations plus a dolly we didn't even ask for....we had a regular dolly of our own which we did not need.....plus we were charged the mileage when he had to go pick up the furniture dolly.... BAD BUSINESS.... then she charges another $10 when my bill said 93.80 which 17.00 should not have been on there....WAS EVEN CHARGED THE MILEAGE TO GO PICK UP THE FURNITURE DOLLY THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE....WE WERE LIED TO

Our reservation location was changed at the last minute which took us 28 miles out of our way. The clerk did not speak English very well. She had no internet to process our order. I have not received any email receipt and I believe we have been over charged. We should not have to pay for extra mileage since you moved the location. The equipment was fine and operasted correctly and easily. The service from you was sub-par.

Please make sure there is enough space to park at the drop off location. There was really only enough room for two trucks, and two trucks were already parked there. We had 26 footer, and barely had enough space.

Then the idiot that ran the location didn't have the snow out of the uhaul area and we spent another 25 minutes trying to get a big truck out of a snowed in space. The kid doing all this was an idiot and I will never use your service again. I want my $50 I paid back for the inconvenience.

I believe there was a discrepancy on the miles. i rented it locally. on their computer it estimated 25 miles i set the trip counter and returned it with 26.5 and he charged me with 40 miles. I disagreed but what are you going do?

The people at the shell gas station was great, i would highly recommend the store to get your u haul.. They are great people and very friendly.. Make sure if you need a haul you go the the shell gas station on columbia street in leetonia ohio... Evans family.

Let the customer pick up the truck where your web site told them they could, not 20 miles away. Also make clear all of the fees that would be applied so a customer is not surprised when they end up paying $230 for a truck that said it would cost $137.

I did a 1 way to youngstown 25 miles they charged me 181.91 they said my card wasn't charged and it would be alot less when I turned the truck in. when I turned the truck in I was informed that I was charged the whole amount [my account was overdrawn because of this]
