Location was hard to find. Personnel were not helpful. We asked for an inspection that everything was returned perfectly. They would not do that on turn in. They would not provide any documentation that the truck and furniture dolly was returned. A week after this rental I received a phone call asking if the truck was returned. I freaked! An 80K truck and furniture dolly with no proof in my hands that it was returned. Today I received the final receipt. I was relieved that they did not add extra charges that I would have to try and fight with no proof. The return time noted on the final receipt was more than 2 1/2 hours later than actually returned.

This downtown Medford location is a little sketchy - homeless around. Also would be very helpful to have a real person at the location (including weekends) to help me through the process. The app did not function properly. It made me fill in the same things 3+ times before continuing and the costumer service phone wait times were 15minutes each time. Very frustrating. Besides all that, the box passcode lock (with the key to the truck) was jammed and took much effort to open.

There must have been an error with the booking which I take responsibility for, but when the store clerk asked if we needed a normal dolly as well as an appliance dolly we confirmed we only needed the appliance dolly, but we were still charged for both as well as other fees making our 29$ 1 hour-long, 9 mile total trip rental over 70$ after the fact.

The guy was very very rude. I didn’t feel like he cared about me or my business. He acted like I was stupid and talked to me like I was a stupid female who didn’t know what I was doing.

Half way between Medford and Lakeview Oregon, the low tire pressure warning light went on. I made it to Lakeview H-haul where they found the tires were greatly over inflated. They adjusted the pressure where it should be quickly and professionally. Very friendly there in Lakeview!

The truck had a very worn-out bushing in the steering column that was making it difficult to put it into Park. The U-Haul mechanic assured me it was fine for the 3,000 mile trip I was about to start. It was not! Several times, I thought it was in Park, only to find the truck starting to roll as I got out! And one time, the truck wouldn't start, but made a clicking sound like when the battery is dead. We called for emergency service, only to find it wouldn't start because it wasn't really in Park. That meant the safety interlock was not engaged, and the truck was being prevented from starting. Once we jiggled the shifter and really got it into Park, the truck started. When I turned the truck in at my destination, I told the guy there that they should not send it out again until they fix the worn out bushing.

The location was a bit difficult to get to, it wasn’t right off the street, there was a little zigzagging to do. I will not go to that location again.

Had to interrupt his primary work of window tinting to check me in. Didn't understand the check in process well No blankets available when I had reservedd them. I had to waste almost an hour to go to another facility and wait in line at an understaffed location. Will not use this location again

The husband and wife team who run the pick up site were wonderful! Both provided generous time in helping me get set up. They were courteous, friendly and professional. Their trucks were clean and a little over 3/4 filled with gas. Much appreciated! I recommend their operation highly.

We returned our U-Haul an hour and 20 minutes before it was due and they didn't check it in until I received an email stating it was past due by two days.

Truck was really dirty. There was syrup stuck to the seat all over. The truck was not cleaned out at all. The parking lot is really difficult to get out of.

You over charged me. the truck needed an oil change, the right front tire required inflation every day. The truck was returned a week early and I was still charged the full estimated price plus additional charges. I will steer anyone way from U-haul henceforth.

The vehicle had cigarette butts, trash, spills throughout the cab. There was a full can of beer under the seat that I found later. Even after a thorough cleaning (by me, which was disgusting), the smell of cigarette smoke was terrible throughout the drive. Sign in had multiple steps, which required a 30+ minute call to help work out the issues.

There was no lock on the trucks to be able to get the key. Owner had to get key to me. Nice of him to do that on his day off. Could not find how to check the truck in on your website after using it. That needs to be clearer. Thank you.

People were not helpful. Actually told us to go find another uhaul place even though they were scheduled drop off location (called and they were helpful and got it sorted out). Parking is bad.
