Check engine light was on. I reserved a truck and furniture dolly. The dolly was not provided. Took too long to pick up even though I completed all online

The truck that was rented, a 10 foot box truck, was not the truck we received. We ended up with a 26 foot box truck. We ended up paying extra for too Big of truck that we didn't want or need. The fuel gauge was almost on empty when we got it. These trucks are required to be full when it is rented. The rear dual drive tires on the rear were worn down and not to DOT Specs. The front steer tires were also warn down and not DOT Compliant. When on the road and driving there was a noticeable shaking coming from the rear drive tires, indicating a flattened spot on one of the dual tires. There were multiple gas stations within the area that were offering U-Haul rentals. While I do not oppose a service station offering rentals, it unfortunately degrades the standards set by U-Haul. There is no upkeep or maintenance on these vehicles until they reach an actual U-Haul Store. As a holder of a Commercial Drivers License, and having a decade as a Commercial Truck driver, I found that the overall quality of service and maintenance severely lacking. I would advise that if you're considering renting any U-Haul truck or accessories, rent them from a dedicated U-Haul Rental Facility and steer clear of franchise owners who's primary business isn't Rental Trucks.

Self pickup was extremely difficult and time consuming- took 30 of my rented minutes. When I was finally able to open the lock box there was no key and had to find a person who could help. Lucky it was during business hours. Drop off was just as confusing and time consuming. There was also no spaces to park the truck when we dropped it off and we had to park it in the middle of the parking lot. Truck got the job done but otherwise, this made moving an even more stressful experience.

First time using this location but I'll be back. It closer to my home than the location I usually use. This place can handle all of my needs. It was quick, easy, friendly and professional.

I found out on my way to get the truck that they did not have one. I had to drive 15 minutes out of my way (opposite direction) to get one. The truck i received was dirty on the inside (mud and dirt all over driver side floor). Overall truck served the purpose and i was able to complete my task. They also said they couldn't do anything for me having to go out of my way to get the rental.

I don’t think that it’s a good idea to have uhaul at a gas station. Parking lot very small and there appeared to only be one person working. Very small space at the counter and we were pretty cramped up trying to check in to get the truck. I wasn’t comfortable with my surroundings. Uhaul asked me to use this alternate location as they were trying to get some traffic thru there. I will never do this again. It was in the other side of town and it was raining hard. I misunderstood the uhaul agent on the phone when he said he would give me a discount. LOL. Not worth the very small discount. Also, when I called to ask why I hadn’t got a discount, Ashley was rude and pretty bothered. She would’ve been a little nicer had she been the one having to deal with this in the rain. I have used Uhaul many times over the years, that ends today. Very poor customer service.

Truck was dirty, filthy. Brakes barely worked. Check engine light was on. The site to pick up was a sketchy part of town at a sketchy gas station. The cashiers didn't know how to help me. Just a disaster.

I dropped off the vehicle 1 day early and This location sent me a charge for 9 days extra. 100% TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. These people are trying to scam people who don’t pay attention to their credit card charges.

I reserved a 20 ft truck and received an 15 foot truck. I now have to figure out a way to get several more items from Kentucky to Ohio. I picked the truck up with 36 miles to empty and returned it with 28 miles to empty but some how I had to pay a $30 fuel service charge and $93 for 14 gallons of gas. I will be conducting my business with another company in the future!!

Horrible no one knew anything about the paper work scary stuff going on in the back. I will never use UHaul again I got over charged because they just handed me keys and I didn’t get to cxl insurance fees etc. I was supposed to be charged $848 but instead my credit card was charged $1,179 such BS. I want a refund on my card or I’m disputing the charge and I’ll pay nothing. No one has gotten baxk to me from Corp after complaining to two different locations. I’m done

I did not like this drop-off process. Very informal and left an uneasy feeling when dropping off the truck. I was required to park the truck and then give the keys to the clerk at the gas station with no formal check out process to verify I actually dropped the truck off. It left a very unsettled feeling. Would prefer more professional drop off process. On the final bill, I was charged a fuel charge for it being below 1/4 of a tank of gas, which was infuriating and completely inaccurate. I was refunded this money after disputing the charge, but the fact I had to deal with that speaks to the fact that a more formal check out process needs to be in place.

The truck was nasty. White dog hair covered the seats and floor board of the truck. The cup holders had 1/2 inch of old soda where a cup was left in there and it leaked. Overall terrible

The truck itself was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, due to a combination of ignorance on the part of the gentleman at the pickup location and repeated technical issues with the Uhaul online portal, it took me an hour and a half to complete the vehicle checkout process. Thankfully the vehicle return process was pretty streamlined and only took about 5 to 10 minutes.

Took an hour to pick up the truck. Nobody there knew what they were doing. The equipment I asked for was not in the truck. Brought it back the same day and asked if there was anything they could do, not only for their incompetence when picking up the truck, but also for bringing it back early and was told no. Then I get overcharged when I check my bank statement this morning. Worst experience using Uhaul ever!!

I ordered two dolly’s and only received one, my mobile pickup changed to a in hand delivery in your system (without me knowing or receiving a notification) but the gas station put it in a lock box and wouldn’t give me the code stating “uhaul was supposed to give it to me through email” but when I contacted your company all I was told was that I had to get the key from the manager. I waited an hour and 45 minutes past my pickup time making me late to get to my storage unit in order to move my family’s things. I don’t mean to be rude at all but your companies communication with the contracted locations needs a serious upgrade.

It was a total mix up about the type of rental we had. The whole uhaul network is a disaster. They don’t have standardized computer system across the board. The location worked it out for us but it was a lot of inconvenience to get it done. Will not use uhaul again and will not recommend this company!!
