The lady at the counter was no help and very rude. Also we have rented a uhaul about 4 times in 5 yrs. it seems every time we choose our location we never get it. Always have to go to farther ones. Why? So uhaul can charge more for mileage. We will never use uhaul again

Gas tank was not full, windshield was dirty, truck needed to be vacuumed, a couple of chips in windshield, person handling transaction not wearing a mask. There was no visual inspection of truck when I picked it up.

The auto transport i rented had a flat tire. Did not realize it was flat until i loaded the car i was moving. At that point everything was closed in my area to repair the tire. Yes I could have called the road side assistants, but I shouldnt have to had to do that. So I pummped he tire up and put a can of fix a flat in the tire. I will think very hard about renting from uhaul again.

99 cents per mile is to much. I spent 30 minutes on the phone to pre check in. When I arrived at the store I had to start the check in process all over again. The rep said that I failed to photo the back of my driver's license which I did not do. It was clearly posted when I did it on mobile. After I pay to rent the truck we walked out to the truck to look in the back and was told that if I broke the tags on the dolly and the packing that was attached there I would be charged for that also. Which I tell explain to the lady that I was putting a large box in the back of the U-Haul and it was a possibility they would be broken off if it was too tight but I didn't think it was fair that I was going to be charged for them when I had already rented an appliance dolly. So obviously I was not trying to get something for nothing. Upon renting the truck she failed to go over the operations on the inside of the truck which I had to call to find out about the toe being on because it was making the truck sluggish. I had a really bad experience once I arrived at the location

I had reserved a u haul online at Valley Storage in Denver, N.C. Upon arrival, I was advised they didn't except cash, but this was U-HAUL'S rules is what the manager explained to me. All I can say is STAY away from Valley Storage. Please go to Landmark Storage, they were very professional and great. Accepted cash with no issue and the staff was absolutely wonderful. I even received a few free boxes from the owner that she had already assembled. Great place, and absolutely wonderful people!!!!!

While driving behind my husband towing the newly rented trailer I saw that the brake light was out. Uhaul should probably do a more through inspection before sending a trailer out for rent. Would still reccomend and we will be using Uhaul again in the future.

I don't know who's responsibility it is to inspect & clean your equipment between customers but I am certain it can't be the sweet senior lady who I picked this extremely dirty piece of junk up from to take on a 2200 mile cross country move. The unit I was given was the worst piece of rental equipment I have ever seen. First, the vehicle was filthy inside & out. Drive ability was horrible, something I didn't find out until I got it fully loaded & hit the highway. It had a shake or vibration that was worst at highway speed that made the dash, mirrors, steering wheel, & other components in the cab make all kinds of annoying sounds for the entire 2200 mile trip. This vehicle needs some serious work done & a complete cosmetic detailing before it is rented to someone else. This experience was bad enough the I can assure you my next truck rental will NOT be a Uhaul.

I was called the day before stating that they were unsure if they would have the truck that I ordered a week before. They did call back to confirm that they had it. Once I used the truck which I picked up at 11am, and was supposed to have for 24 hours, this location called at 949 and asked when I was going to return it. They stated someone was waiting on it. It was not a good experience with this location!
