First, this was not the location I first choose to pick it up. Second, L&L Hardware was an AWFUL place to pick up the trailer. The man that checked us out was rude, refused to answer any questions, and worst of all REFUSED TO GIVE ME ANY ASSISTANCE HOOKING UP THE TRAILER. I HAD TO LIFT THE HEAVY TRAILER TONGUE BY MYSELF WHILE THE YOUNG MAN STOOD OUTSIDE AND WATCHED. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. Also, I needed another box and they did not sell boxes.

The man told me he had a receipt for me. I did not have my reading glasses with me, so I just accepted it. He did not tell me there were extra charges on it, just that it was my receipt. When I handed the receipt to my wife, we were 5 miles down the road when she noticed the extra charges. I feel the worker who gave me the receipt should have pointed out the extra charges, and we could have possibly taken care of the problem right then, saving you time and money to correct the problem!

I see there were four 5x9 trailers with ramp at this location. Buds Cornermart handles Uhaul rentals. I understand that U-haul negated 5x9's at this location. For the town of Kellner and surrounding areas, this would be a handy location to have AT LEAST one 5x9 with ramp. Thanks.

Was ignored when I first got there. The gentlemen on the phone was swearing up a storm. The other gentlemen was drinking Jack Daniels out of his trunk. Very upsetting

We were first confirmed at a location in Wisconsin Rapids (out of our way because we wanted one in Stevens Point) when we arrived the trailer was damaged., and the employees seemed unaware. The brake cap was missing and was unable to hold pressure. We were not comfortable taking this trailer. We ended up having to go to another location one hour south and out of our way location. I would like to receive a discount for this inconvenience. Can you help with this?

Car Dolly was in disrepair, cab of truck was coffee stained, I had to clean myself. For the o money I would never use U-Haul again. Two hour wait to pick/up in Coloma pick up time was 8 am no one showed up until 10!! Terrible experience!!!

Flat tires on the trailer. Last person must have curb checked enough to get a nice leak in both tires. Obviously the tires weren’t checked prior to pick up, had to fill tires multiple times to prevent flats

People at individual locations were friendly and helpful. Whoever schedules the trucks is terrible. The truck I reserved was scheduled 2 hours later than my reservation. Three hours later and the truck never did come, forcing me to drive 40 miles to get a truck. The result being 5 hours off schedule. The frustrating part was not being given options at the onset of problems, had that happened my inconvenience could have been avoided.

Insurance was added that I declined. I was given a location for drop off and it was changed. I got a phone call then next day from a different location stating that my return was late and they were going to charge me a $200 wrong location drop off fee. It took 2 hours to straighten it out AFTER I sent them a copy of my contract proving that I returned it where it said to make the return on their paperwork. I will never use or recommend uhaul again. Moving is stressful enough without all of the bs I had to go through.

This site was simply a weekend drop off location - I didn’t actually meet the staff. That said, I did speak with ‘Toni’ (Coloma, WI) by phone today to clear up confusion concerning the number of blankets that were part of the original reservation. She was very attentive and conscientious, quickly helping to sort out the issue with the Falls Church, VA office and close the transaction. All helpful, all appreciated by me as your (repeat) customer. :-)

When I picked up the tow dolly I was told I could return to Wisconsin Dells but when I called they said they didn’t take trailers at that location I had to run it to Coloma instead waisted an extra 25 mins of my time each way I wasn’t happy with that

I have seen bad reviews for this place. What I found was a very friendly and helpful man. I was very pleased with my service.

Employee had a difficult time navigating Uhaul upgrade on the computer; he had to call Uhaul. I did the express check-in online, but I was at the store for about 45 minutes. My suggestion is to train Uhaul rental places better.

The man I delt with was extremely rude, didn’t even help me dig the trailer I rented out from behind the other vehicles blocking it in. So I had to rock it out of the snow, then drag it to my truck myself. Then when I asked for assistance in getting it to hook up on my ball on the truck, he was again extremely rude, threw on his coat, came outside for long enough to drop it on the ball, turn around and walked away. Didn’t even bother to tighten it down or check the hook up. I’ll never go there again, nor will I recommend his location.

I reserved the uhaul a week in advanced and told I was guaranteed the time and the truck. Less than 24 hours before we get a call that the truck isn't available until way later into the day. We had to travel an hour one way to get a smaller truck. On the plus side, we were given an extra 80 miles and an extra day.

I ended up switching drop off locations because I found a closer one by 10 minutes. The staff member was very friendly and helpful. I I hope I will not need a moving truck any time soon, but would use this service again if needed. Thank you again!

I can't remember the man's name who was running it, but he was professional and ran a cool small hunting/outdoor sports shop that I liked. Plus he had spotted cow my favorite beer so 5 star for me fam

The auto transport was dirty, there was broken glass and sharp rusted pieces of steel on the wheel platforms at the front of the trailer. The ratchets for the straps, worked (barely). I had to drive 40 miles from where my pick up reservation was made originally, so an extra 80 mile round trip to rent the trailer... (Why make a reservation at a certain location)?? The lady on the phone at U-Haul that told me I had to drive to Coloma for my trailer, did say she would reduce the rental by $20.00, for the 80 mile round trip I was forced to make to get the rental trailer.. DIDN'T HAPPEN !!!! Man at L&L did not ask if I wished to decline the insurance, just added that cost into the rental fees. Also, never explained the Rental Cost of the trailer itself... He did say, "you can hook it up, right"? Then handed me the contract and said "sign here", handed me the copy of the contract and the "dispatch sheet", and said have a nice day. NOT great service, Nor a way to induce return customers...

The gentleman that took the keys for the truck was very nice and apologized for the bad wipers and windshield fluid freezing. We gave the truck back in better condition than we found it. Will do business there again.

The guy at the counter barely said anything to us. Never said thank you, asked if we had any questions, told us where the truck was, nor explained the charges. Speaking of charges, we never agreed to put safe move on the truck, but guess What? Someone took it upon themselves to put it on there. We were suppose to get a call confirming our pick up the day before. Uhaul never called. I called them a couple hours before pick up and found out our location was moved 45 mins away! When were they going to inform us of that?

I reserved for a Wautoma, WI. location pickup and dropoff and did not receive it and the company did not bother to tell me until I contacted them the day before the move. Poorest service and I will be posting my rating of poor on all social media. This was a big mistake using U Haul for my needs and I will be using a different rental company in my future and I will make sure all my friends, family and acquaintances do the same.

It was 40 minutes each way just to pick up the truck. Very inconvenient. Upon arrival the store employee had us wait. 20 minutes. Because their computer wouldn't boot up. Then he pulled up my account on another laptop. Then had issues with payment, when I had already submitted payment. I wasted over 2 hours dealing with all this. It was not a good experience for me.

Area was muddy, trailer had snow in it. Service person was friendly and did all the work hooking up trailer, but trailer should have been cleaned out and moved out of wet/muddy area prior to arrival as I had to step in a muddy puddle in order to get in and out of vehicle. My biggest complaint was the lowball reservation quote on 1-800goUhaul. They quoted me a price which was about DOUBLED when I arrived because of insurance. Be sure to inquire about full cost before reserving.
