Had some packing supplies that I never used or opened, wanted to return them but this location was unable to do so.
Howard LOver paid for the gas and not refunded which sucks. Otherwise the place we picked it up from was decent. Should be more informed on the process of refunding though.

Nathan BI am very disappointed by the state of the vehicle. There were many trucks on the lot at 9:15am on Good Friday when we arrived, and mine was the only one covered in 2ft of snow, despite the last snow fall having been 2 days prior. There was ample time for the staff to prepare the truck for me, or leave a snow brush for me inside the vehicle. As a result, it took me 45 minutes to heat the vehicle and clean the snow off. I was freezing and wet by the time I finished. Extremely Disappointed.
Sofia RIt might be best if there is a dedicated uhaul service rep at the store instead of having a customer service member who pauses uhaul rentals to cash out grocery customers which causes the screen to time out for the uhaul rental.

Reymarc LI don't blame the location at all. I registered for a piece of equipment at a different location, and Uhaul changed it to Land of Spices. It only opens at 11 am, and I needed to be out of my unit by 11, so had rented it for 9 am. I went to get it, and registered for the app etc online and took it. The equipment was dirty (normal dirt, nothing terrible) on the floor and the door was hard to slide up. From a safety point of view, it was 9/10. It was just missing the rubber two-holed bit that goes over the chain hooks. I found the experience stressfull.
Alice GTruck was unclean, food and items left inside, odd smell to it, truck had below 1/2 tank fuel, debris in seats, the telephone call from the location rep was almost inaudible, after many repeated attempts. U-haul advertising material was obstructed in the retail location. I have rented from other locations and had a much cleaner unit.
Lance WThe top lock box for our key was too high and I wasn’t tall enough to put in the code. I had to find something to stand on. Lock was also very hard to open.

leonard gI have no issue with the business, however the entire rental process, from a 8 min video, to figuring out how to turn on my location, to the many many many steps.. I would not suggest uhaul to others. I was not informed of the process the day before and wanted to come in and pay.. I feel like this “easy” way is so many hoops to jump through and not easier at all

Keith PThe vehicle smelt so bad of coffee and cigarettes. Was covered in dirt on the outside. And spilled coffee everywhere inside. I told the lady at the counter when I dropped the key off but she didn’t seem to care.
Diane MFirst person that helped us was great. The second person that helped us on Sunday had a lot of difficulty using the system and finding our order even though we provided the name, address, phone number, and email of the person associated with the order. The order then needed to be cancelled and redone because we upgraded the size. This lost the credit card that was associated with the order. We had to wait an hour for the boss to show up to give his credit card. The uhaul was fine but if it's supposed to be clean it wasn't. It had caked-on snow and dirt.

james mplease make sure that the truck is ready and everything looks fine (etc. check fuel cap is closed) before you give the key to the customer.
NUO JYour app is useless. I spent 40 minutes on site trying to get the app to work. This after I had filled in all the information on the web. I had also previously rented a trailer. Location only opening at 11am is useless if you want to use the truck for the day. Will likely not rent from UHaul again.
Jacques vTrailer came off the ball after loading and emptied twice and on return to store. No damage to truck or trailer although thankfully it was a full size pickup. Chains held. They had tightened the trailer tongue on the ball for me but the lever and turning knob where sticking. Lubricants maintenance or replacement may be required more often on trailers. We have a 32 foot camper, 14 foot boat, utility trailer and 32 foot and have never had an issue. Scary but could have been bad if chains had not held or had a vehicle with plastic bumpers. Desler is aware and was going to look sfter crushed wire on trailer lights.
Orval DWhen we originally booked the 26 foot truck, we were never contacted for a confirmation or to get driver's license info etc. We went into the location a few days before and my husband provided his information. When we arrived at 10 a.m to pick to pick up the truck, we were unable to because we had it booked for 8:30 a.m. We were never informed that the mobile pickup service would expire after 1 hour. We spent a lot of time on the phone verifying credentials we had already provided to the location. When we finally got the truck, it only had 1/4 tank of gas in it. My husband put in $50. I would think that a full tank at time of pickup would not be an unreasonable request. Overall, we weren't happy with the process.
Ian WThe uhaul was not delivered to me at the time that i booked, instead i was offered an alternative time and location and then upon calling again i got the uhaul at the same location after driving around for 30 mins. I would like to claim my rebate option of 50$ which was promised if i dnt get the uhaul at the specified date and location.

Raymond MWhile checking in at the counter, the Uhaul software wouldn't accept my postal code, which I've never before had a problem with in the year I've lived here. After 20-30 minutes of troubleshooting, which included trying (and failing) to get some Uhaul support on the phone, we finally ended up entering a neighboring postal code instead. I'll continue to plan on spending at least an hour to pick up a Uhaul in the future, because it always seems to be drastically more difficult than you'd expect for one reason or another. But to be fair, everything else went fine.
Andy TAlthough the vehicle was brand new which was appreciated, upon opening the door there was an overpowering stench inside the vehicle. It smelled like something died in there. It was awful. We mentioned this to the rental guy and he offered no solution. The interior was absolutely disgusting and so dirty. Seats were stained and dust and dirt everywhere. It was truly gross. The stench just put it over the top. Although we were thankful to have the service of this rental for our in town need, we were so disgusted with the condition the vehicle was presented to us in. Uhaul should be ashamed of themselves for their lack of cleanliness and maintenance of their fleets. We had a very serious incident with a cross Canada move recently in one of their units where the first vehicle presented to us had no brakes. They weren’t going to provide us with another vehicle until we insisted as it was a serious safety issue. We were given a larger vehicle than what we needed which then cost us a lot more in fuel and we were offered zero compensation. Customer service lacks hugely with this company unfortunately.
Terence WWhen first turn of the key the Check Fuel Cap was on the ABS light was on The engine light was on The interior was filthy and inner surface of the windsheild was dirty and numerous past suction rings were tatooed across the windshield there was a constant disconnect of information I had given during the initial ordering and the actual pick up location resulting in over a 30 minute delay The fuel tank level was less than half

Mike VThe placement of the trailers for pickup was poor, it was at the main entrance off of a local throughfare. During the pickup process the dealer app crashed and had to take several pictures of my licence ( with two different devices ) to complete the transaction.

GRACE LTruck was dirty, crumbs in cup holder, and inside dusty and looked like it has never been wiped down. Check engine light was on with first start up. Didnt seem to cause issues, but with emission system not running perfect it could affect efficiency so it may have cost me more fuel. I didnt like that the gas gage was not full. It's very hard to judge how much you have burned off and i did put it quite a bit more then i had used.
Christopher SInteresting dealing online with reviewing the vehicle before renting. This was my first experience inspecting with pictures. When a vehicle is not clean during inspection it is much harder to identify dents or other infractions on the vehicle. It was worth cleaning the vehicle for a $25.00 refund. Well worth the money for me.

John PLights not working, blamed me that it was my lights, suggested I use a vehicle that was in worse shape, Manager came to look at lights and did not even touch the vehicle. Pre-sign in does not work. Spent well over 2.5 hours getting a reserved trailer which I ended up having to take a smaller trailer then I reserved. They suggested I drive 10 hours to pickup the size I wanted.

Bhavya FI was over charged because i returned the unit with slightly more gas than when I took it, however I was charged for fuel upon the return. My receipt shows 143.61 that was email to me, and the actual charge to my visa was over 170.00, so now I am fully confused
