This location did not have requested equipment (blankets) resulting in damage to my property as I was not able to protect my belongings. The truck was dirty and covered from front to back in cigarette butts. The location was sketchy with druggies loitering/leaning on the truck. I did not feel safe as a single woman picking this up.Grace H.

My final bill shows a charge for gas even though I replaced the gas used above the level I received it and I have the photos to prove it. The vehicle ran well but the interior cargo area had a lot of dry leaves. It was a challenge getting the truck out of the location because cars were blocking the exit while having their cars washed by some enterprising individual. The time reflected on the paperwork does not show the actual time I was finally able to leave the location. On top of that the gas station owner attempted to charge me for an extra day even though I was less than an hour late as shown on the paperwork. Only after I complained did he make the correction. Please advise the next customer that this is a gas station, not a real UHaul office. There were people loitering outside, washing cars, smoking and it was very scary after dark. Also, we were charged for a utility dolly we never got, plus triple charged for other fees. We only had the truck for about 6 hours, instead of the 18 we were promised, because it was already rented out to someone else. Now we have to pay someone else to complete our move. Not at all pleased.Beth B.

Very poor location. Run down, scary clients, cashier did not know how to check in a uhaul return. Took close to an hour on the phone. Finally got regional uhaul manager on phone to help. Would not send my enemies to this location!Jim G.

The truck was in great condition but the location and management were horrible. The vehicle was parked in a sketchy alley behind a convenience store. There were a group of men hand washing cars in front of the UHaul vehicle on the side of store who didn't know anything about the truck. I entered the convince store and asked the clerk how to pick up the UHaul. She said â€œokâ€ and walked out behind the counter so I followed her until she got to the beer cooler and started managing her inventory. I asked her again how to get the UHaul truck and she told me to wait up at the counter. After waiting for her to help store customers who arrived after me she got on the computer to look up my reservation. She was either not tech savvy or not familiar with the UHaul system because she made me come behind the counter and click through options until we saw that the computer wanted additional contact info from me. She handed me the key and told me the contract would be emailed to me. It wasn't. Next day I had to call customer service to have them email me the contract so that I could ensure the correct drop off location and avoid penalties. Upon leaving the pick up location I had to deal with the unhelpful car washers who wouldn't move their buckets and hoses so that I could exit. Instead I had to find individual customers and ask them to move their cars so that I could navigate safely out of the alley. It was nerve wracking and dangerous. This gas station should not represent the UHaul brand as it devaulues your service.Chad B.
Cheap gas station in a crappy part of town. Staff didn't know how to do reservation. Staff just asked me for a picture of the milage and didn't even check the truck. There was no printer, so staff asked me to take picture of their computer screen... it was just a weird experience since I am so used to going to an actual Uhaul instead of a gas station. Had an emergency need for the truck, otherwise, I would have moved on and definitely not left my car there... Needs improvement... but all in all, it worked out.Antonio S.

Have better understanding, try and not let people smoke and get ashes all over interior thus leaving horrible smell and making person renting smell the same as a result. Make the whole experience more easy and convient to access and actually rent the damm truck or cargo van. Just have better customer service all around honestly. This is by far the WORST experience I have ever had from renting a car or buying a service from ANY place. Very dissappponted in Uhaul for having such low standards all around.Will S.

I sincerely hope someone important from corporate actually reads this.. please listen loud and clear.. if you guys care about your customers whatsoever you should have better control of who rents out your trucks. This place was a complete filthy disgusting dump in a very unsettling part of town. The Owner barely speaks English which doesn't make things easier but not that it's a fault. The trucks are parked behind his gas station which also doubles as a car wash on the side. I booked a truck on the phone from the Orlando airport and told a taxi over There. Upon arrival I immediately Regretted it. Then After a half hour of standing there trying to get him to understand that I already paid for a truck and he needed to call customer service he finally hands me several keys to multiple trucks and says to find which one goes to which truck and then shuffle the trucks around in back of the parking lot myself in order to get a truck out of the tight space left by the name-shift car wash. There was no inspection making sure lights work or odometer reading. Truck was not full of gas. Cruise control not equipped for a 1 way 1300 mile trip. I later noticed a bag under the drivers seat and I pulled out to see what was inside.. it was a tire grocery bag containing an old dirty diaper, a moldy orange, and a moldy child's sippy-cup. The truck was not even emptied of the previous persons trash before me!!! This place will not make anyone want to return to uhaul and I am a multiple time repeat customer over the course of several years. You need to discontinue service at this place!!!CHRISTOPHER R.

Dealer had issues with his computer and had to call uhaul to resolve. I had to hire a local boy to help me lift the tongue to get it on my hitch. I have never seen a coupler like this and at present have to assume that it is attached properly, since the dealer was not familiar with it nor did he show any interest in helping. Have the right truck ready for pickup instead of trying to give someone the wrong truck. There was no point in filling out the profile in advance of the pickup it did not speed up the process. Also the equipment I prepaid for was not there. This was the last time I will ever rent a U-Haul. Awful experienc all the way around.Gregory M.
Definitely the worst service provider experience I ever had in my life! I am very disappointed with the U-Haul. The dealer 43577 at Lancaster Gas don't knew speek English well, don't knew how use Gift Certificate and by often gives me wrong information. To get the truck I spent 45 minutes, and to return spent 90 minutes because the dealer did not know their procedure. I lost time and money! I sincerely hope a response by U-Haul and penalty to the Lancaster Gas.Elissandro G.

Very, very poor customer service. Person attending me was distracted, not a good communicator, told me he could not log my UHaul into the system but could not explain to me why, was not helpful/did not offer any extra assistance, was unprofessional, and spoke poor English (difficult to understand/communicate with). I would absolutely NOT go to this location again, nor would I recommend it to a friend. I ended up being on the phone with UHaul customer service for almost 30 mins because he told me my UHaul could not be dropped off at his location. Very difficult, negative experience.jessica S.

I was asked to go behind the counter to basiclly do my reservation myself, even though I did the pre check in it still took almost an hour, I never got my equipment, the truck was dirty, and I was charged for gas even though it was in the same place as when I got it, and at the end I get charged to the wrong card. I will never use this place ever again nor will I let anyone I know use it. Uhaul is a good company please don't let places like this run your brand into the groundDeMarco M.

The computer didn't work and it took an extra 45 minutes to find my reservation. Then the clerk shooed us out back to fend for ourselves where we found our trailer that was absolutely filthy and full of trash. It smelled absolutely awful. So I had to spend another half hour on the phone with uhaul customer service to switch the trailer to the other one. Completely unacceptable. This place is falling apart at the seams. I want my money back and I will be contacting the correct personal to be compensated. Because of this ordeal I could not move as scheduled and am now still unloading this trailer at 2:34am. I've loved uhaul for so long but this is the most horrible experience I've ever had moving.Rosa F.
The entire experience was abysmal. Had to wait for thirty minutes to get the truck squared away. Upon inspecting the vehicle not only was the entire vehicle dirty but the dollies we ordered where not in truck. Going back in to wait five more minutes for them to tell us, "Oh you ordered dollies, let me check if we have any". The manager only had one of the two we ordered, and stated we could either wait an hour or so for one to be delivered, or go to another uhaul location to pick one up. Should be noted this was a pickup booked a week out, so a customers expectation is one that these items should not occur with advanced notice.Corey T.

Location was not well marked and in a "convenience store." Clerk stated that computers were down and handed her cell phone to me to speak to another agent. I had a 3rd party return the vehicle and computers were still down. I called the location to verify return and the phone was answered by a woman who spoke poor\broken English who told me to call back later and hung up on me. Not a good experience.Greg J.
I had to remove my own trailer from the woods behind another truck. I then had to clean out all of the trash inside from the homeless person that had been living in the trailer. After hooking up my own trailer, I discovered that there were multiple lights out on the trailer. After contacting uHaul about this issue, all they gave me was $30 off of my nearly $150 bill. I am extremely discussed and frustrated about the entire situationJared B.

Very bad experience. The policy and procedures of Uhaul Org were not in compliance i.e. not doing an inspection "together" to check gas level, premarkibg the gas level then getting blamed for shorting them, being offered a free moving blanket from one employee then gas stn owner getting mad at customer - No single blanket was available to purchse in computer and they insisted on charge if 6 blankets and dolley. VERY SHADY LOCATION - FELT LIKE I WAS BEING CHEATED! Running a Uhaul business and gas station is not a good idea. Please stay away from Lancaster Orlando area!!!DEREK M.

The young lady at the drop location did not know how to work the computer... She asked me to come behind the counter and check myself in & return the equipment. They didn't have anyone there to help remove the tow dolly or offer assistance. If I would have sent my wife to return your equipment, it wouldn't have gotten done... It's sad that this is normal and acceptable in this business. I would loose all of my customers if I conducted business in this manner...RICHARD S.

The location was understaffed and did not seem well set up to receive truck returns. One man who walked with me to the truck to check miles was on his cell phone (personal call) the whole time and very unfriendly. The other man who processed my return through the computer was also running the cash register, so kept having to stop helping me in order to ring people up. He questioned why I was given the rate that I was and did not leave me with any confidence that I would be appropriately charged for my rental. Though it is the location closest to my house, I would never consider renting from this location again.christopher W.
