It was the most painful process I have ever dealt with mainly because you went to only online rentals the truck drove like absolute shit and it looks like somebody had cut the catalytic converter‘s off felt like the wheels were about to come off I was nervous the whole time I'm still processing why I even owe y'all money for that

Do NOT send anyone to this location. There is little to no cellular service in the area and we had many issues with picking the equipment up. I'd like to talk to a manager at U-Haul so you can get the full depth of the issues we experienced.

The man had no customer service skills at all. When I asked him where was the form for signing off on the scratches and dents he just looked at me and told me that nothing else came out of the printer. Next he handed me the key and told me to go out to the truck and check the gas! Then he had me sign a paper that said i had received all of the other paper work when I had not.

Owner was not friendly, didn't help at all, didn't communicate....just worked on the computer. Had me go out and get mileage and gas by taking a pictured. Had me.undo car dolley (I am 5' 3" and 100 lbs and when I called to ask for help he said maybe). Then had me go out and lock the cab.

I will NEVER again use Uhaul and I will tell everyone I know not to use Uhaul! This was one of the most horrible experiences with a business I have ever had! To begin with, we went to one location and they did not have a truck so they reserved a truck at another location. When we went to that location, the person who was supposed to return it decided she wanted to extend her rental. So we had to go to another location. We had to wait over one hour for the business to write up the contract because he did not know what he was doing. Then, we later found out that he had written us up as an in-town delivery when we were doing a one-way delivery. Why is it the customer's responsibility to know the correct terminology? I should think it is Uhaul's responsibibility to advise the customer for the best and correct way to rent their trucks. The truck was fine. We went to return the truck and the business we were supposed to return it to had gone out of business so we had to drive 22 extra miles to return it. The person who helped us at that location was wonderful. She told us about the error and how it was going to cost us twice the amount. She called Uhaul for us to help us correct the problem. She was cut off FOUR times and each time we had to wait and wait and wait. We had to argue with every person at Uhaul that we talked to. It took us over TWO HOURS to rectify the problem. This is utterly ridiculous!!! No one should have this much trouble with a company. Obviously, many of the Uhaul employees are not properly trained and customer service is horrible!

Communicate with one another, deliver what you promise, we were promised a 20 foot truck and a dolly. We didn't get either if them and I went to 2 other locations to pick up the dolly and never did get one. I hope to never use UHaul again under any circumstances. I would expect some kind of refund for getting a smaller truck then promised!!

I was offered no help to hook up the trailer. The trailer was parked on a downhill incline which made it very difficult for me to hook up the trailer by myself.

Not have to wait an hour to pick up when only customer there. Have someone who knows what they are doing. Make sure they check out rentals and hook them up not customer looking them over and hooking them up. Make sure they check in and look over rentals. Not just give deposit back and say ok thank you.

Having reserved a 10' Uhaul almost a week in advance, I was pretty upset at having to drive an additional 31 miles to the nearest location. This location was a run down gas station with no Uhaul signs at all. Uhauls were pulled almost behind the building and were not visible from the road in the direction I was traveling. What really upset me the most was still having to keep my drive within 155 miles. Because of the location of pickup, it was impossible to make the drive without going over 155 miles, therefore I was charged extra (even though I overfilled the gas tank). I believe my reservation was overlooked and not treated with the same equality as others.
