We scheduled a pick up for noon and my partner took a train in to pick up the vehicle. When he arrived no one was there and the app that he was told to use didn't work. I called to find a solution and was told to use the app and that someone should be at the store. No one was there. When someone finally arrived at 2:30 he didn't have the right dolly on the truck and said he couldn't locate the one we requested. We requested a furniture dolly and they gave us an upright. He had to go and BUY a furniture dolly because he was on his own and had heavy items. There were also moving blankets in the truck that we were charged for and did not request. It was a hot hot day and this was an awful experience.

I struggled with pick up as I couldn't register online so I was stuck at the location for 40 min trying to sort things out and get the key. Also the truck overall was clean but there was garbage in the drivers side food and such that I would have liked had it not been there. Overall though I would use your services again in a heart beat as your customer service is excellent.

I had selected a drop off location that was close to my home, I was rerouted to a depot on Plains Rd. then to a depot on Lakeshore Rd. If there is no choice to a drop off location why offer one?

Customer service at the p/u location was excellent. My issue is with the location that I booked the truck from 3476 Mainway Ave. They were unable to edit my personal information. I was told that a representative would email me the details of time & place of p/u. That didn't happen, I almost missed p/u of the Uhaul that I rented. I phoned this location several times with no answer on the day of p/up. I listened to the recording that said I could find out more by going to Uhaul online. I don't think I should have to rely on a recording for details of my transaction, when I'm the one spending the money.

The "Mileage out" figure was different on my receipt versus the original contract, resulting in me being overcharged for mileage by $50. In addition, I was sent a nasty email claiming I hadn't returned the equipment, when the garage owner hadn't checked it back in. When I called u-haul, they were already aware that the truck had been returned, and the email had been sent regardless.

Very nice couple running this rental location that is situated in convenience store. I would happily pick up a van here again in the future.

It'd be nice if the trucks/vans/etc had some form of U-haul sticker. Often, people renting u-hauls aren't used to driving that type of vehicle. The u-haul sticker reminds others on the road of this fact and hopefully other drivers on the road will give them a little more time and space on the road, knowing it's likely an inexperienced driver.

Good: The location is convenient and parking was easy, which is the only point I can refer this place. Bad: I had my reservation for 6 pm July 31st. When I went there, there was no Van available. I had to wait for 1 hour to to receive the Van. It was one hour wasted time for me. Receiving the Van 1 hour late also ruined my moving schedule and arrangements with the moving helpers and Building Management, who might charge me a late moving fee. So basically, it was a costly move for me.

The lady at the store is really nice and friendly, but it is hard to communicate with her (ask questions, have them answered). In my short time at the shop, I had to talk to the other customers myself instead of her dealing with three of us.

The pick-up store is a little run down but the lady that owns it and rents out the U-Hauls is friendly, professional and respectful. The truck was available when we needed it and she processed the papers quickly. Overall, a very good experience.

Really nice lady running the uhaul truck. A bigger U-Haul sign out front would help as it was a bit hard to see.

Please have someone clean out the van before use--the cargo area was not too clean. I also had to pay a lot more in gas because the indicator when I first used the van was not at full, but the person working at the rental location marked it as full. While the rental itself was cheap, the gas was not.

The tank of gas was full and the uhaul agent indicated that it was not full and demanded that i come back right now to fill the tank or incur a $40 charge..i will never rent from this location again.

We had to use the 2501 W Broadway location which opens later at 11 AM because the 10 AM van we were expecting at 3701 W Broadway at Alma wasn't there for us. THe person on the phone the night prior didn't inform us of the need for a reservation. The person present in the daytime didn't seem to care at all that we had a deadline and no truck. This was after we stood at her front desk for 10 minutes while she ignored us. We didn't know where she was, until another customer informed us that the person on the computer was actually the proprietor. There is no excuse for the abysmal treatment dished out to us when we were on a tight schedule. we strongly dislike 3701 w broadway outlet. we did like 2501 w broadway location, friendly and good customer service.

Change the name of the business on your website - their signage does not say Oak Flower & Market so I was confused about whether I had the correct location based on the address alone. And there is no visible U-Haul signage on the outside (unless I missed it).

It would be greatly improved if the vehicle were available earlier, and if the name on the location matched the name of the business as listed on-line. The couple who run the business are very friendly and helpful.

Super nice Chinese lady who made it all simple. She runs a nice store too. I brought my girlfriend a flower. I thought the overall experience was excellent. The truck performed well and it was reasonably priced too.

There are no signs or advertisements outside of the convenient store that says anything about U-Haul. The name of the store is not "Oak Flower and Market" and the truck is parked behind the White Spot across the street so the location of the store is a little misleading. We walked around for about 10 mins before deciding to go into the convenient store to see if they were the U-Haul pick up location. Very clear that this is only a side business. Otherwise the staff were relatively helpful.

Clean the vans! They are really disgusting! The driver and co-pilot part was awfully dirty! That is unacceptable for U-Haul standards, at least for US U-Haul standards!

If the store were open at the time the reservation was made for, that would be a good start... it's just a really disorganized place. They don't even have voicemail.

I rented a 10' box van for a 12pm noon pickup and ended up receiving a confirmation of reservation for a cargo van at 1pm. There seemed to be a disconnect between this location's available vehicles and what the reservation page was stating so we ended up having to make an extra trip and spend more money than anticipated.

Upon picking up the van I was told to return it with a full tank of gas. I drove a total of 6.3 kms, which they rounded up to 7, and when I filled it up, it took nearly 15 litres of fuel. It may not be a lot of money, but I don't see why I have to pay for someone else's fuel. I was told to call the Uhaul head office, though the woman I spoke to didn't even finish the conversation with me and just put me on hold without saying anything. I called back and was immediately put on hold. Third time and it went straight to call waiting. This company seems to care nothing for customer service.

I was treated very poorly by the service representative. I was late returning my vehicle and was yelled at multiple times by the uhaul representative. She would not stop yelling at me and listen to what I wanted to say. I was charged for an additional day, which I will willingly pay. However, I was also charged an additional $50 for no reason. I will be calling Uhaul later to have this incorrect charge reversed.

Owner of shop told me that van was full of fuel. Needle was on "F", however when I filled it up it cost $25 and I only traveled 29kms! Full on the fuel gauge was in fact far to the right of the "F". Owner refused to refund fuel money. I found this to be totally underhanded.

Cargo van was brand new and everything was nice. Prices posted on sides of rental trucks are deceiving, I paid nearly triple the advertised price.

we reserved a truck online. The location didn't have our reservation or our truck. they rented us a smaller truck which made us have to make multiple runs instead of one trip. We had a elevator booked at our building which we had to extend because we had to make multiple trips. Really screwed up our schedule. Made the whole move in more expensive and time consuming. The store says "its not us, we didn't get the reservation". They wouldn't even look at our reservation number.

Rental turned out fine, but because of the operator's lack of ability to speak English, it was difficult to ascertain certain information about the contract and the rental.

The pickup location was great - good service and truck. I just have a general comment about the fuel level for these vehicles. The fuel level on vehicles should be "full" on pick-up. Then the customer just has to return them with a full tank. It would be much easier to top up the fuel at a gas station that way. It is hard to adjust the fuel level indicator on such a large tank. I estimate that I put in at least $10 more fuel than needed to bring the fuel level indicator back to 1/2 (where it was on pick-up) because of $10 makes almost no movement on the fuel indicator with such a large tank.

Hi, the Uhaul truck was filthy inside the cab and smelled bad. I think if it had been clean my opinion would be much different. That's why I wouldn't recommend this location. The staff was very nice though.

Shop owner was 1.5 hours late to rent us our truck out, leaving a line up for 4 customers. The other shop clerk was extremely rude and told us it is our confusion and fault. When I returned the vehicle the tried to charge me for 2 days. The vehicle was FILTHY, covered in graffiti and garbage and ciagrette butts and ashes. Worst experience.

I reserved to picked my van in downtown location on Davie st, and u-haul change the location on the last day. So I reschedule to the following day so I can get in down town, but the same thing happened. If u-haul doesn't have a van in downtown, why they allows to reserve it and then change the reservation on last minute? The service is way over priced here in Canada. I rented a truck (not a van) in LA two weeks ago and ended up paying way less for a better service.

When I was making an online reservation I was not being allowed by the website to drop off the van at 11:00 am in the next morning, the latest I could be dropping it off was 9:00 am. When I was picking up the van I confirmed with the lady that I should be there at 9:00 am the next morning. So I scheduled on that, and was at the U-Haul dealer location by 9:00am. However they did not open until 11:00am. This wasted 2 hours of my very busy day.

The store didn't open until 11am, and there were 4 couples waiting for reservations while they set up their convenience store. No condition report was done, the employer didn't even come out to the truck to inspect. We were given the keys and told to go find the truck. On top of that we drove only 11.5 miles and they insisted we fill the truck despite that the gauge was on FULL. My husband filled $30 worth of gas and it still was accepting more gas. Clearly the gauge is broken, and when we complained we were told nothing could be done by them and we were not reimbursed for the gas. $30 to drive 11.5 miles? This is a scam. I have the receipt and I would like it to be partially reimbursed by UHaul. This is unacceptable.

Our Van was not available for us when we went to pick it up. The excuse was that the "THE DAY BEFORE" somebody broke one of the mirrors. I totally understand that could happen but what I don't get is how come nobody told us the day before or at least early in the morning about the problem so we could do some arrangements. We had to wait for 20 min on the phone for somebody from U-haul to help us out after the lady at the store said she could not do anything and that we had to contact the head office. When you have only a couple of hours to move this is not the most pleasant scenario. At the end, after an hour waiting and discussing, the lady at the store could rent us a truck for a much shorter period of time than we planned. Even though U-haul is a cheaper option, next time I will pay more for a more reliable service.

-the place was misnamed: said Oak Flower on the website and my reservation but place called Larch Variety -owners opened at 11am, line up of customers already, line up moved very slowly and operation seemed to be quite disorganized -English skills of owners NOT STRONG -I would use U-Haul again, but would try not to use this location again.

Our truck was not what we ordered, the clerk did not speak enough english to understand this, and there were 3 people in line and 2 trucks in the lot (sure glad I came early)

I booked a week in advance. Last minute they tell me that I have to go to some rundown flower shop in kits and they have no dollys for rent even though I booked 2 in advance. There are many other companies I could pick from. So moving was really fun thx. I WIll NEVER use your services again.

The Gas wasn't 100% FULL - dispite it was said it was, and also the cab had a box in it. So that means it wasn't checked. The last person didn't clean the cab or fill up the gas - so I had to.
