Had to travel 85 miles out of our way to pick up truck the day before our move!! It was VERY upsetting and disruptive to our needs. The truck had to air conditioning, we had to delay our trip in Kansas City to get it fixed, we were told to travel to a U-Haul location that didn't provide that service , but that location got a mobile company to come to our location to fix air conditioning and it did work after that. The entire U-Haul experience was a BAD experience. I would like some sort of money re-embustment for these issues!!!

don B.I found the hitching up process easy. The United hitching was extremely difficult. I did see any special instructions for that. Ended up disengaging my receiver and pulling away. Then the ball released. I could not lift the trailer from the ball.
Dick G.I had selected Detroit Lakes, MN as my drop off as it showed up as a UHaul location, but then was directed to return the truck to Perham, which added 34 miles to my trip. It would have helped to know the Detroit Lakes location had closed, and then to be able to select a nearby location, choosing either Perham or Fargo/Moorhead. The staff there were helpful and very quick.

Follow-up phone call from U-Haul Reps, not so much! Your local locations for pick up and drop off are what drives your business with their person to person customer service. Your phone call Rangers are a detriment. It would take a novel for me to fully explain! Point of advice..keep your business model as personal as you can!
