This is a complete fabrication. I’ve never even spoken to an employee at this facility in person. The only interaction I have had with an employee here was the initial phone conversation to set up the rental. I am absolutely dissatisfied with how this facility handled my concerns. I professionally expressed concerns about them having rats at this facility via and I was accused of being rude.

As a result, I was incorrectly charged for 2-days when I returned in within the 24 hour window. I called Lake Lavon Storage to explain this and within an hour I had already received an email detailing the refund amount/details. Thank you!

Donny marandureAfter return of the vehicle from Cellphone we found out that the door mechanism on the passenger side door is defective. Passenger cannot unlock the door from inside. Had to go around the vehicle and use the KEY to unlock to passenger side door, so the passenger could disembark the vehicle. This is a safety concern, the passenger should be able to open the door even when locked from inside - Please have this repaired on the rental equipment immediately.

SAMUEL SHOWMANLocation with only open for 3 hrs a day. Demanded equipment be return to his location only and then what's not to be used to Carry anything to prevent damage. With bill for a total of almost a $1000 for 8 days. Will never use uhaul again.

BYRON WILCHERA larger sign showing where the office is located would help. I was lucky to notice a tiny sign in the window, or I would have gone into the wrong building looking for the U-Haul office. Other than that small (pun intended) issue, it was a great experience!

He relies on the phone app to do his business and the app is a POS. But the app is a whole another problem to be addressed in another comment.
CHARLES RIVETTEasiest uhaul transaction I have ever had. I will use this location from now on. Uhaul web site needs work anytime I have ever tried to go online and rent a car hauler trailer it always says not recommend and doesn’t let me finish. So I have to call a location with a car hauler and have them put the info in. A 2013 Ford F-150 with a 5.0 in all 3 cabs have a towing capability of 11,300 pounds. So I don’t like a website to tell me i can’t haul a 4,000 pound car on a car trailer!

Della PineWe have been using this storage for a long time. My main disappointment has been the change to automatic payments. I have had problems with automatic payments previously. I enjoy paying in person. Due to this change we moved out earlier than we had planned. Besides this change we have had a great experience at Lake Lavon Storage.

Charlotte Begando | Overall ExperienceI liked that I was able to rent digitally while the facility wasn't officially open, however a couple of minor things occurred. First, the van was lightly dirty inside the cab and back area - just needed a light sweeping. It Could be due to a previous rental that weekend, I don't know. Not a huge deal, just something I noted since it was asked if the van was clean at rental time. Second issue was confusion on where to return the keys. I picked them up from a lockbox near the parked U-Haul, so I figured that's where I dropped them back off. However, once I couldn't get that box to relock, it became apparent that the drop off was waaay up the hill near the storage office. I could barely see the box from where the trucks get parked, because of the size of that location. I believe the U-Haul contract/directions needs to be specific on where to drop the keys off after-hours, or at least provide a picture of what the drop-off lock box looks like.

Lewis WheatleyI drove a total of 46 miles (from rental location to Frisco TX location, 23 miles one way and back to rental location. I did stop for gas to refill before returning. So my total fuel bill was $29.00 / 11 gal. I told the gentleman my issue and he shook his head and said Frisco was far. If your gas mileage on your trucks (empty) is less than 4mpg then me and my moving company will no longer be using your business. Either your gas Guage is broken and truck was really not full when given to me or manager is crooked. Either way I will be letting people know in this area that this location has some issues with integrity.
CHRISTOPHER ABLESYour Fate, Texas was less than satisfactory. the fact that my reservation was moved, then canceled forced me to make another reservations on my own at the last minute and drive 30min out of my way was not the kind of customer service I experienced from Uhaul in the past.

lowell clark | Overall ExperienceThere was no trailer jack on the trailer and not one available either. The attendant and I had to lift the trailer onto the trailer hitch. I returned it after hours and there was not jack for me to use at that time either. Just had to do the best I could to get it unhitched and off the trailer hitch on my truck.

Kim McClanahan | Overall ExperienceI do not like 24/7. No personable service. You spend your rentable time dealing with everything yourself. Don’t think the price on the van is for 24hrs. It was only good for 6hrs. I got double charged for 12hrs. Will use different company for my final move.

The day before my move I have to go from a 26ft to a 20 ft and pay the same price the equipment that I reserved was not available and the moving help available on the site canceled the day before my move. I will never use this company again so disappointed in everything
