There was no answer on the phone number for this location listed on the contract in order to verify that I had returned the truck correctly. I found an after-hours number on the front door and was able to speak with someone to ensure I was parking the truck in the right place in the sandy lot cleared behind the business next to the other U-Haul trucks and that I should just drop the key in the key box. The arrangement seemed a little odd at first, but I guess it works just fine!Robert S.

THE WORST IN EVERY WAY! I even contacted Matthew, the Sales Mgr., about my experience. The parking lot was very small and the Uhaul's weren't even visible as they were back by the woods. The location itself it right off a very busy street with little room to enter/park. The people were very rude and upset because they didn't seem to understand that I had already done the mobile check-in and was forced to manually check-in where they charged me a $7.42 credit card fee (even though it was already entered online) and even changed my drop-off location which I didn't even know about until I went to drop off my truck. The space was very dirty, uninviting, and 100% not where I would expect to pick up a uhaul. I've rented a LOT of Uhauls and this was by far the WORST experience and took about an ENTITE HOUR to complete and we were on a tight schedule.Richard L.

The individual who was there when the trailer checked in never showed that the trailer was returned. We received several phone calls asking where the trailer was. It was returned Friday afternoon around 3:30pm. My brother had to go back to the location asking them what was going on. Even as of yesterday I received a phone call asking where it was.Pam M.
The owner made me load my car on the auto transporter in the middle of the highway, on the median. When he attached the transporter to the moving truck, I asked if I can load my car there. There being a big open field next to the building. His response, yes, but he has no responsibility loading it. I understand that, due to liability issues. But when I went to go grab my car, he came speeding by, and parked the U-haul in the middle of the Lecanto Highway. And had me load it there. Walking through 3 lanes of traffic, and having cars whip by at 50mph. Worst experience I ever had. And this was already after waiting for two hours. He messed up my reservation, and was completely incompetent. Beause of U-hauls lack of standards on who can and can not be a dealer, I will never use u-haul again. Penske and Budget I'm confident would never have a customer load a vehicle in the middle of a highway. I have pictures as proof. At the time I couldn't even believe it, and that's why I took out my phone to take a picture. I was do upset, I didn't even bother saying anything, I just didn't want to make things more unpleasant than they already were. I will take the higer deck height any day over this type of experience. The truck smelled terrible of cigarettes, and it leaked. I had furniture and boxes damaged as a result. Looking to move????? Do not go with u-haul. I'm a long time user, but never again.Johnath M.

I had a hard time fitting through the exit with a large motorhome on the right and a tree on the left. I had approx 6 inches on each side. The lock on the truck was extremely hard to open. Myself and 3 adult children all tried and finally one of my kids pushed really hard on the lever to get it opened.Michael P.

The only thing I would say is that I ordered the truck on the website for 7 am. When we got there to pick it up, the sign on the door says they do not open until 8 am. They need to update U-Haul with their new opening time. The owner was very good and did apologize that they had changed their time.Maria T.

Truck was not clean. Poorly speaking English. Left a glass in the truck and dropped off on Sunday. Called them Monday morning to see if I can come and grab it and the rep on the phone told me they threw it away. Obtaining a U Haul was originally a hassle. We went tho a place in Lecanto next to our storage unit, but they didn't have the size we needed. The guy read helpful, and was on the phone finding out where we could go. We were sent to Ace in Inverness, where we met Larry, and he was beyond rude as could be. His tone was very rude and demeaning, and only had negative things to say about other U Haul employees, specifically area management. After being led to and treated poorly by him we went back to the first guy who called corporate to help us find where to go. We were sent to the auto place. The staff was quick and friendly. Not happy with experience. Was charged for 2 days when only rented equipment for one day. When I filed a claim to get my money refunded, I was told I would receive my refund within 72 hours. It took 10 days to receive my refund that should not have been charged in the first place. This is unacceptable.CHRIS B.
