Sandra M.At time of on-line rental for cargo trailer, rental agreement requests make/model of vehicle that will be driven to pull trailer....however, notice should be posted as to the type of wiring plug etc trailer has, and notification made for new trucks that require 7 pin connector instead of the 4 pin or 5 pin as found on the cargo trailer wiring harness...had to delay trailer pick up, leave pick up location and go buy an adapter causing delay in my trip. Prior notification of require connector type on trailer would have been helpful.

Tywanda C.We made a reservation to pick up a 12ft box truck in auburn ala.on Saturday July 29 2022 .on the 28th Uhaul text at 9pm that we had a 12ft in Columbus GA to pick up .we were moving a daughter 5 Miles within auburn where we had a reservation. We were disappointed that we ran into problems with you so late. We had made reservations in June. We finally got a cargo van in Lagrange but we had to pay mileage to and back from Auburn. And our daily rate was higher. Your people were good to work with us but it was a mess getting a vehicle. Khan in Houston helped us after hours when we returned the van earky.
Perry P.I had a reservation to pick up my uhaul and went to my location only to find NO uhaul. The girl working told me “ a reservation doesn't really mean anything and it's no guarantee “ I could pick up a similar truck from a different location but it would be over a hour away and in a different state (Alabama) I became really upset by this whole experience and I was given a 26 ft truck instead of the small truck I ordered, I absolutely did not want to drive a 26 foot truck 8 hours down the highway and 90% empty but for my trouble uhaul gave me 15 additional free miles but the new location was actually more than 16 miles from me round trip. My point is the 15 miles was just insulting. I rent often from uhaul and I am always satisfied but this experience had changed my opinion of your company drastically. The truck was dirty had empty water bottles sunflower seeds and little gas. Uhaul just doesn't care!!

TIMOTHY F.Check the doghouse in the truck there was definitely something wrong with it. On the route from Georgia to Gainesville Florida it was EXTREMELY hot inside the cab of the truck. I had to pull over five times because of the heat in the cab.kept checking tje doghouse which eventhough it was locked down it was unbearable inside.
MICHAELJ M.We picked up on a Sunday to the facility that we picked the truck up at was closed and the gate was locked. The employees park the truck inside of the locked gate and U-Haul did not provide a code for us to access. So we had to call multiple numbers for U-Haul that had an hour wait to get this resolved. This was very inconvenient. The truck also did not have the dolly that we requested. Very poor experience.
JACOB O.The gate was locked with no way in I had to be let in my a passerby who has a storage locker in the facility. The person behind the counter did not properly assist me in returning the U-Haul and I was charged for and additional day.
Dakota B.Provide better instructions for turning in a vehicle. Provide gate code on original contract for after hours return. It was very frustrating having to hold for 30 minutes only to be told to wait for a manager to contact me.

MONICA E.I reserved an enclosed 6x12 truck. I was in route to pick up the unit and received a call that they did not have the one I reserved available. This was very frustrating. The lady on duty (Madison) was very , very apologetic and worked hard to try to remedy the situation. It was not her fault that this unfortunate situation had presented itself.. U-HAUL owes me an apology and compensation.

REBECCA G.LaFayette Parkway Self Storage's service was excellent. However, there was an unfortunate interaction with a Uhaul representative that I think needs to be addressed/corrected. As part of the Uhaul key retrieval process, an alternate number was required. I listed my wife as the alternate number. A representative called my wife but she did not answer initially because the call showed up as "spam." When I contacted her and explained, she attempted to call the number back. The representative she spoke to was extremely rude and confusing. My wife explained the situation and the representative asked for her phone number. After she couldn't find it in the system (since my number was associated with the account), she became frustrated and commented "if he had been there on time, you wouldn't even be calling me" and hung up the phone. This interaction was highly confusing and disappointing. I understand employees are human and have bad days, but this is the type of behavior that results customers that refuse to come back. My overall experience with Uhaul was excellent with this exception. Otherwise, I would have rated 5 stars.
