Check in/pick up process was a bit long and underwhelming. 3 personal references to rent a van, when you've already given valid id & credit card info is a bit much. If you are worried about your trucks being stolen, you're in the wrong business. That's what Business Insurance is for. I happened to be there, for 30mins+, and the Fire Marshall came to inspect. This location had multiple violations and the owner didnt seem to care, blaming the Landlord for all the violations. Does anyone or any business take accountability anymore?Grover W.

I was given the truck with a 1/4 of gas and I returned the truck with the same, If not a little more. The worker for U-Haul even told me to put $30 which I did upon return and still got charged for gas.. an obscene amount. absolutely ridiculous. The pick up location was changed without my approval. The location was NOT in a good area that I would be in at night. I made a reservation a month prior because of how close I could pick up and drop off, instead I had to go several miles out of my way. I was disappointed that I never received any correspondence or calls about the change, which I would of declined.JEFFERY S.

This location is next to a prison. Not in a safe neighborhood. Furthermore, the gas tank was not Full as was marked on the paperwork. It was less then half way full. I called the number listed on the paperwork however the phone number was not operational . I called the 1-800 number. Was on hold for over a hour. Was over charged. I filed a formal complaint and I am waiting to hear back. Overall this was an extremely bad experience and would never recommend or will never rent another truck from UHaul again. I am still waiting to hear back from someone from UHaul. They said it will be 72 hours. We shall see. If I don't hear back I will be disputing the charge through my credit card company. The service at the location was good, but we had a lot of trouble with the app/online 24/7 check-in process. The app was glitchy and the check-in process took a long time, both to get the truck and to return it.Erin A.
Great service provided by Shellina and her team. We had to call her a couple of times to keep extending the rental time as our house move took a lot longer than expected. Sent me to a bad area , booked at a different location and had trouble using app because this location was not listed on the app to pick up my U-Haul. Over an hour on the phone trying to fix the problem . Please tell your customers never drop off this truck at night here, I had to watch my back ,besides I guess by the prison what would I expect . Welcoming staff, really good service, everything was explained in detail and took the time but it was quick to make sure everything was completed correctly and everything was inspected before leaving.Jose G.
Truck was dirty inside and door did not close (which no one on-site inspected before trying to give to us). We had to drive an extra hour round trip (to another state) to get a significantly bigger truck (too big for our needs) that cost us a lot more in gas.EDWARD F.
This message was sent to Mr. Williams: Mr Williams, I did received your message. And I must say that I am disappointed in the way this business transaction took place. I was told if there is gas put in your van that is more than what was present at the beginning of this rental, then there would be a refund. Or if less fuel was present on the return of the van, then an additional charged would be added. Apparently, this is not so. Well, I feel this is sealing from your customers. Trust me, I know if I returned the van on empty, you sure would have charged me. This is about uhaul online not the location. I made reservation online. It changed my pickup location to 15 or more miles away. Ended up using phone to cancel reservation and make new one. I provided zip code for scheduling. On my way to this location I passed 2 other uhaul sites. How did they pick that one?Daniel S.

I was charged a random and extra fee for no reason at all. I do not appreciate being charged more than I am suppose to be charged for. I paid for all the services I used. Pick up and drop off persons were friendly and efficient. Less than 20 minutes in each case. Equipment was a brand new Chevy pick-up (1,200 miles). And the total cost for 3 days was very reasonable.James D.

We rented the truck from a location on Kirkwood highway but a day after the order was confirmed, we were told the truck wasn't available and there wasn't any trucks left to rent. The Kirkwood location then called back and told us they could transfer the reservation to the location on Bowers Street. We did that but that added mileage to the rental so we had to pay more. Not ideal but that was the only truck we could rent. The 24/7 truck share process was very difficult. Seems like customer service and the counter reps don't understand it. I had to call customer service 3 times when I arrived to pickup the truck. Turns out the rep on Kirkwood Highway didn't enter the information correctly which made the process more difficult than it needed to be. In addition to that, customer service didn't understand how the truck share worked. We got the issues resolved and finally drove away with the truck. When we had to return it (by 8am), we get a call as we're driving there that U-Haul needs the truck back. We returned it early and a counter rep was there but he couldn't do anything to return the truck because it was truck share - why can't he return it for us? He should have the ability to do that. We returned it but because the rep needed to move the truck and set it up, he took the keys quickly (before I had a chance to take pictures). The whole process was frustrating and unpredictable. Definitely will not do this again.William K.
