The location was not my intended or preferred location. I only found out on the day of move that the location had been changed. The location was much further away from my home, which means I had to pay more on the mileage. I did not approve this change but had to succumb since movers were all ready. When I called customer service, lady named Zahara was reluctant to help. Said her manager will call within 24-48 hours and I didn't receive a call yet. U-haul will take advantage of you on your stressful day. Strongly suggest to avoid this company.Maxime G.

The truck felt like it was gonna fall apart when driving , truck was very dirty , I turned on the a.c and it truck got so hot , so I turned off a.c and it got even hotter glad it was just for q quick pick up of my motorcycle because if it were to move truck would not have made it full of furniture , it worked for what I needed but feel like I overpaid for the over heating truck and how filthy dirty it was ...Jose R.
The staff were helpful! On the other hand the truck, was poorly maintained, the driver side door for instance you have to slam extremely hard for it to properly close, the engine itself was struggling to move. And also I brought the truck back an hour later and was charged for a second day! I understand the fact! But the truck was not under a new contract and just sits there. I am a volunteer first responder for the town and we do not charge any of the businesses for our dedicated service to our local community. RegardsBernie V.

I reserved a U haul from 135 Rte 46 E Little Ferry, NJ 07643, got the email confirmation, and when I went there, there's no trucks at all, I asked one staff, he didn't seem to know much about it, he just gave me a number to call, I finally got to know the location, and it was 10 mintues away from it. I was overcharged for both mileage and the rental. KwikChek put the blame on Uhual and Uhual placed the blame right back on Kwikchek. I will never use a thirdparty for rentals again. And Uhual is a disgrace for customer service and satisfaction. They give thirdparties control of THEIR name and business, and then don't take ownership of the thirdparties' poor service and fraudulent charges. If my money is not reimbursed, I will be filing fraud charges with my credit card company.Melinda L.

Everything went very smoothly, from pickup to dropoff. The agents were courteous and friendly and got me in and out very quickly. Truck was in great condition, everything worked well. Only improvement would be to allow after-hours dropoff.Sandeep S.

Absolutely no offer to help when returning to this location. I had to remove the trailer from my truck myself nearly damaging my back. On top of that, the personnel at location could not give me return documentation. I asked the person working to acknowledge there was no damage to unit and sign her name. Then when location Manager (who was not there when I returned) closed out My rental return 4 hours after I returned it, they listed lights not working as damage.kevin S.

Make your charges per mile scaling. That would save money for the users and people would be willing to spend more miles. For example the first 10 miles $1.50 the second 30 miles $1.00 the rest miles for $0.65 for the rest of the day. This would engage your customers more. People who spend more miles tend to drive in highways or good-shaped roads, meaning they are used in better conditions and respectively that means a better maintenance for your vehicles.Vasileios S.

I enjoy your services and I think they are very useful, but a little bit overpriced. The $1+ per mile for a van is a little overpriced I believe, even though your cars are in a very good shape. I would rent a van from you again and I enjoy your good services and cars, but there should be grading charges as of the per mile charge. This would make your services more attractive to me and as New Jersey user, I would use your cars more oftenVasileios S.

The person in-charge would not help with unplugging the trailer from my SUV. He wanted me to do it on my own.Also there was not enough space to park the trailer properly. They had a vehicle parked infront of the parking space which he would not move it. Very unhelpful customer service.HARI G.
The pick up is at a gas station and the only thing if we had to pick out would be we had ordered a furniture dolly, but when we got the truck there there wasn't one there. But other then that the gentleman was extremely kind and helpful and I would recommend using this location.Jeffrey L.

The guy there was so rude and unprofessional. I used the app to pick up the van. I was verifying things in the app for the pickup and this guy came to me and said, come inside the shop and ask me for my driver license. I told him i am using app for the pickup but he insisted to give him the driver license if you want the keys. I gave him my ID and then finished the process in app and asked him to return my id and showed him the app screen to get the keys. He rudely said make sure to return it clean. When i returned to dropoff he came outside right away and asked me to handover the keys. I told him that i have to finish the return process on the app and he replied it doesn't matter give me the keys i have to inspect it. He inspected the van and locked the van and went inside the shop. I went in the shop and asked him to give me the keys i have to take photos to complete my return process and locked the van. He said go home everything is done. I said its UHAUL app instructions i am following. He kept me waiting and when he saw that i am not leaving he went outside without giving me the keys and unlocked the door and then i again asked him to turn it on so that i can take milage photo. He was so rude and made my experience so horrible even i used app for pickup and dropoff.Muzzamil J.
I was pleased with customer service. Everyone was helpful and friendly. My one complaint was the condition of the uhaul. I don't mind scratches and small dents as long as I'm not blamed. What I did mind was the broken headlight and damage to front of the truck. It was marked by uhaul as noted so I knew I wouldn't be responsible, however that truck should have been fixed before being used by a new customer. That is common sense and good practice for any rental company. Overall because of good customer service, I would use uhaul again. GraciasLisa M.
