One thing that I didn't understand was the pictures sold the truck and the intention. I know now and you were supposed to touch the pic where there was damages. I just approved and didn't realize I was supposed to do. Over all the truck ran great no issues except the economy gauge. It was always reading in the red. Didn't hit green at all.Juan M.

Make sure that you don't allow someone to rent equipment that the store does not have. I REALLY needed moving blankets to transport my grandma's piano, and reserved some, but when I got there the store said casually said that they had not had blankets in years and couldn't do anything to help me. It is a regular quik mart, not a full service uhaul store. They didn't have any moving supplies in fact, just 3 trucks, and the uhaul reservation system tried to offer me all sorts of supplies to rent out from there. That would really suck for someone counting on those services. Also, the gentlemen that checked me in was nice, but I still have not received an updated finalized receipt. I received the estimated one again from the check out process, but I over estimated my mileage and want to see an updated receipt. Not sure why I still haven't received one. Also, I only went 26 miles, and drove in the efficienct green zone most of the way, and it cost $19.39 to fill up on gas to the click upon return. That seems like wayyyyyyy too much and makes me think the last customer did not fill it up all the way even though the gas guage said it was full. I'm confused as to how that could happen, but there's no way it took 5 gallons of gas to go 26 miles.HANNAH E.

The person that helped me did what she needed to do as the app walked me through the drop off portion. I would like to comment on the truck. I expected a 3 seat truck as shown when placing the pick up order and received a 2 seater. The truck is limited to 75MPH and the only way to go faster is to go downhill with a grade of 2% or more. This is dangerous if you are trying to pass a vehicle going slower than the speed limit because you need every bit of speed to pass. States like Colorado where the interstate speeds are 75, you become subject to the slow lane because you will not be able to pass the next slower semi. U-Haul needs to remove this â€œsafetyâ€ feature or at least set it higher for states that have higher speed limits.John L.

Was sent to this location because the first location's truck was not in working order before try to rent it ! I a retired truck driver did a basic walk a round and found a 4" hole on tire and they couldn't fix or replace the truck and sent me to this location ðŸ˜¤RAY T.
I absolutely hate the Uhaul App. It doesn't make checking in or out the trucks easy. In fact it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with Uhaul. Next time I'm going to use Budget so I don't have to deal with that damn App!Cheryl L.

The truck was not clean inside ( unless you want cheese crackers and dirt!) or outside. One side of the truck had been spray painted and there was a broken vent inside. The sales person at the store told me this was the first U-Haul she had rented and didn't know what to do. The truck had a bit more than a quarter of a tank of gas, so I had to fill it up before leaving town.Mark S.

It was a very frustrating process. We had arranged everything onsite and attempted to do the online pickup, but it wouldn't work and when we went in to get keys the person required calling 2 other people to add them to the form and confirm I was who I said I was. It was not necessary for a 2 hour rental after we had already provided everything. After a long process of him calling people he walked outside and said you could have gotten the keys here!! So infuriating and a huge waste of time. Do not recommend renting from this location.Heath D.
Your app didn't work when I went to pickup my truck; I kept getting an error message. I went inside the gas station and at first the attendant did not want to help me. But, ultimately she did. However, I had to go through all these questions I had already answered when I made the reservation. I was in a hurry and that is why I chose to use the app to rent. Then, there was no dolly or furniture pads in the truck that I reserved. I clearly reserved those. I went back inside and all I got was a dolly. She had no furniture pads. I was moving wood furniture. You kinda need the furniture pads. And the truck had no ramp. It was nearly impossible for myself and one other man to lift some of the heavy furniture into the truck. This was a horrible experience and I will look to rent elsewhere next time I need a truck.PETER S.

The GPS gave me directions around the corner, which I had to go another couple miles in a circle to get back into the parking lot. Although the location was convenient in terms of how close it was, it was not convenient to get a 26 foot truck into not knowing exactly where it was and with construction.Ann R.

I had no problem with the personnel at the location I picked up the truck from. However, the truck is in dire need of service. It misfires, has worn out windshield wipers, bad tires, front end out of alignment, rear brakes grinding, and it shimmies, shakes and wobbles while driving at highway speeds of 50mph and over. Due to its poor running condition, and lack of maintenance and repair, it used an excessive amount of fuel, which over the duration of a 2,000 mile journey, caused me to have to stop and purchase fuel too often, and too many times. The poor running, driving, handling, and comfort of the truck were not fully realized, until after it was loaded, and was already on the highway. The truck was loaded correctly, it was not overloaded, nor was it anywhere near approaching the limits of the trucks capacity.randall R.

After 4 different rentals (3 cross country) with U-Haul and 2 rounds of storage in the past 6 years, my most recent experience with U-Haul will be my last. It started the day before I picked up my rental. I received a call from the U-Haul representative who told me my equipment would be ready the next day. The representative did not identify themselves or the location they were calling from. On the day of my rental I requested the rental be ready by 7AM at my preferred location. Reason being was because I was driving from Colorado to Oklahoma and needed to load the truck and then get on the road to make it to Oklahoma in one day. I arrived at the location I requested when I made the reservation and started the online check-in process. Shortly after starting the application notified me that I was at the incorrect location. As it turns out U-Haul failed to notify me that the pickup location changed. 20 minutes later I arrived at the new location and restarted the check-in process. I started to inspect the truck I had been assigned and realized the furniture pads I had reserved were not in the truck. I was using online check-in, so had the store not luckily been open I would have been without furniture pads. U-Haul failed to properly prepare the truck I had reserved. I went into the store and asked the attendant for furniture pads who gave them to me. The next step in the check-in process was gathering the key from the lockbox for the U-Haul. I entered the code the app shared with me only for the lockbox not to open. I went into the store and notified the attendant again. She came outside and tried the combination as well, but it would not open for her either. She then tried opening the box with a key, but it would not open. At this point, she notified me that she would need to call her manager to discuss. Shortly after, she came back outside with a key to a different truck and told me to simply take the other truck. Her and her manager would sort out the paperwork after I left the facility once her manager arrived later that day. I declined this option as I did not want to be responsible for a truck in which I was not assigned. She called the U-Haul helpline and explained the situation. U-Haul sent out the Area Field Manager to investigate the lockbox. Upon arrival, he also could not open the lockbox. This resulted in him having to use a chisel and hammer to break into the lockbox to retrieve the keys. At this point it was 8:18AM, which I estimate is more than likely 1 hour after U-Haul targets getting a customer off the lot. i.e. I assume they target having a customer arrive on site and having them drive off 15-20 minutes later. I called U-Haul later that day to file a formal complaint. I spoke with the Southern Colorado Area Manager and explained my experience. At which point she offered me $50 for the poor experience. I was offended by this amount as with storage I will have spent over $1,000 for this trip alone over the thousaKevin T.

It's a sketch gas station with drug paraphernalia all over the place. They called to confirm my appointment but never told me the location change so I went to the â€œpreferred storeâ€ and missed my appointment time because this store was 20 more minutes away. The truck was clean but very wobbly after 50 mph. I did not feel safe taking it on the the highway so I took a backroad to get to Denver.Michelle D.

I had to drop off at a different location than originally requested. I had to pay for a bag of blankets, because the movers put furniture in storage before I realized. I had no problem with paying for the blankets. However, the site tried to charge me $10 per blanket, when the packing on the blankets clearly state $6 per missing blanket. After 45 minutes of haggling, I left not knowing exactly what they were going to charge my credit card. Very disappointing.Stacy C.
